Personality: For being a hair off of her rocker, Grell still holds her composure well. Grell is mentally unstable, and morally corrupted. She understands fear and paranoia, but would be too taken in by the adrenaline to be disuaded. A daredevil looking for the highest stakes, Grell honestly believes that each life she takes is one she is sending to paradise. People are better off dead to her, and she won't give a bat of an eye to helping them that way. But because her mindset is so childish, realization hurts her and sends her into a delerious panic. The only thing that comforts her in doing what she does is the idea that she is right in her ways, and her corrupted mindset is only in place so she wouldn't morne for those who's lives she had cut short. Though, if that's the case, why does she cry herself to sleep at night?
Abilities: Though she does well to hide it, Grell is a metal bender, and her movements are accute enough to keep it subtle. Her bending is limited to a sword's full length of 6 feet, and approximately 300 lbs of metal at one time. This makes her manipulation of her daggers flow with ease with each movement as well as allow her body armor to give her more flexibility. She cannot earth bend, nor can she sand bend. When it comes to weapons, she excells at the use of knives, daggers, and surgical needles. Though she favors these weapons, she is descent with any item she can throw as such. With her medical knowledge learned from her father, she knows the body as well as a chi blocker, and where her sharp objects can do the most damage. Oddly enough, it's also enough knowledge to save someone's life. For being insane, a powerful skill she is descent in is psychological warfare, knowing what gets to normal people is an edge in any job she partakes in.

Under the straight jacket, Grell wears body armor, metal plates surrounded by padding and similar to the metal benders that police Republic city, only more flexible and light. Rows of knives hide under her extended sleeves, and a pair of kriss daggers attached to metal cables hide in the sleeves as backup. The only reason they don't cut her is because they have compartments they are housed in. In the leggings, she hides pouches of metal surgical needles used for acupuncture and a razor thin metal lace for quite a few uses.
History:
Born of a well practiced doctor and a veteran fighter mother of the kiyoshi warriors, Grell was born a happy girl. She was born with an imbalance in her brain that made right and wrong morally conflicted, but even with this small deficit, her parents took care of her. Her mother, being a proud kiyoshi warrior before she retired, had joined an underground society, a fanatical cult that took interest in her daughter, and so unofficially Grell was a member, attending secret sermons behind her father's back.
At the age of 10, Grell was more imbalanced than before. The cult brainwashed her, and she seemed normal entirely compared to her usual scatterbrained self. She took an interest in her father's work and he helped teach her of his bending that he learned. Where he learned the basics of metal bending, she took it to heart. Earth bending was difficult for her, where metal bending was something that she had become acute with, so she devoted her learnings to just metal bending. As she also learned from her father the basic practice of modern medicines, the radical cult and her mother taught her as a kiyoshi warrior.
It was when she was 15 that she was in a large scale fire that took out a few houses in the vicinity, and by her parents' sacrifice, she was able to live. The cult took her in as her only family and continued her studies instilled by her father and mother. She did not morn for her parents, knowing they were in a happier place, and if she had caught herself crying, she would cut herself until the tears were gone, as was the order's teachings of pain over sorrow. They warped what little innocence she had, making her into their personal tool and it was time for her first test.
To prove her loyalty to her new family, she was to partake in a small job, one she aced with no remorse. The underhanded killing of a public figure under the cover of night, leaving no trace. She had become what they wanted her to be, and she was happy with it. A murderer, a sword for their false truth, a tool of their unholy crusade. She has retained her sanity, if you would call it that, all this time, between jobs and even after her leave of her village to take care of the seeds of their order in other parts of the land. But wherever she may be, message would get to her of her next assignment, and she had little option to fail.
