Arriving into a new town

An Chao	An Chao walked slowly down the steep path to Gaoling. She looked forward to meeting new people and making new friends. She moved with vigor and speed. She stopped when she saw an old man crossing the street who was about to be hit with a cart by a careless salesman so she quickly ran and rushed the man out of the way. She quickly left before he showed gratitude either because she had grown very hungry, didn’t feel like being made over, or being offered stuff. She walked towards the restaurant and paid for ramen and some chicken on the side. She took her food and bended herself an earth table to eat on so she wouldn't spill. She gradually ate with care. "I wonder if anyone is friendly around here?” she said aloud hoping that someone would care enough to listen. She went inside with her food to buy some tea for her to drink. She grabbed the hot tea and carefully placed it down on her table outside as she walked. She drank her tea slowly and silently wished someone would sit down beside her.

Jun Li	Finally, Jun Lis Travels Had brought him to a town where he could finally rest for a while, Gaoling. A slight zephyr rustled his red hair, and brought the scent of earth to his nostrils. It was a city like this he was born in, only ba sing se was much bigger. Jun put his hand on his stomach, feeling the vibrations from his hunger. He had walked for a while, although sandbending had definately sped him up. He entered and walked into the town and looked around, using his nose to sniff out the thing he wanted most. He found a resturant that seemed rather O.K, there was a girl younger than him who had just gotten her food and earthbended up a table for herself Wow, what skill.. Jun stopped to look at his own hands for a moment I can only destroy with these things, Will I ever be able to create anything so detailed? shaking the depressing thought out of his head, he continued to walk towards the restaurant. As he got closer to the girl, he realized she was dressed...very oddly, but in away that it was her own style. Thinking about why she would do such a thing made him lose focus on his power. As he passed the earthen table, it turned to sand and blew away in his wake, The very motion of his arms and legs being enough to catalyst the mistaken bending. As the girls food bgan to slide off the uneven table, Jun quickly erected a small earth pike from the ground to save her meal by acting as another 'Leg' for the tilting table. "oh uhm!... My apologies miss...!" He said turning away and not look her in the eyes, for he was slightly embarrsed for a reason he couldnt grasp. Up close, the girl was Very beautiful, with blonde hair and amazing hazel eyes. He quickly walked into the resturant and ordered a small bowl of ramen with dumplings. back outside, he glanced at the girl and then focused on his food. He thought about the earth Table she had formed, and couldn't help trying it himself. He attempted to bend a table for himself about 5 feet away from her, but could only manage a rough looking boulder with a small area on the top that was flat. Disappointed and embarrassed, Jun Li proceeded to place and eat his meal upon the Rock as if he intended to do so from the start. He created a similar looking boulder to sit on, shifting his gourd and a large wrapped up item on his back so he could sit as comfortably as possible(Something that proved to be an impossible task.)
