Personality: Rakan is a very strange man, to say the least. Rakan is extremely eccentric man, and will always have a great big grin on his face. He is extremely determined, and very confident, but not overly so. He knows his limits, but he is always trying to surpass them. While on the outside, he seems like a very proud person with nothing better to do with his life than train, and some people think that he’s crazy because of what he puts himself through. However, on the inside he is always beating himself up, subconsciously. He never feels like he’s good enough, ever. He could rise above the point of gods, and still believe that he is not good enough. He has no idea what he’s striving for, but he does know that he wants to achieve it or die trying.
When he is with his wife and daughter however, his feelings of self doubt are lifted from him. He feels like he has achieved something by having a family, and he would protect them with his life if need be. He is extremely friendly around them, even more so than before. He is very friendly with his daughter, always playing, sparring, and hunting with her. He treats his wife like an absolute angel, loving her just as much as she loves him back. They somehow maintain a wonderful marriage despite the fact that he is always moving around and getting into situations like he does. However, she couldn’t really say anything, since she is always going to the fire nation capital; she is a General of the Army, and noblewoman.
When he is fighting against enemies, he attempts to keep his grin and be fair as long as things stay fair. If someone where to attack his daughter, they would have the wrath of the thousand warrior upon him. He is very lax about these fights, but he’s not stupid. He will search for weaknesses, and attack when the time is right, at those tiny weak points in your stance or the chip in your armor.
