I have done a couple RPs before and I do another one on forumotion, but this one is different in that there are specifics about the abilities. I noticed that there seems to be no Avatar or Earth Queen and I was wondering if I can apply for a char to be one of those two or if that comes with being an established member of the rp here? (Sorry if I come off as wanting too much, I don't. It's just that I wrote an Avatar-based story with a friend of mine recently and in our writing our characters gained the ability to control all four elements and whatnot, and now I'm used to that.)

Right, well first of all welcome to the site. You'd be right in noticing that there is neither an Avatar nor an Earth Queen. Now, to be perfectly honest we'd all prefer it if you were to make a new character and we were to get used to you first. That way, we can gauge whether or not you can be trusted to not abuse the characters. Although honestly, that isn't really that much of a problem, as you need permission to kill another character, and if we're honest no one cares about NPCs. Nevertheless, having you invade somewhere would be a bit of an issue. However, if you were to make an application for any of the vacant positions, then I personally would consider you providing the application is a good one. Though keep in mind i'm not speaking for the entire staff on this matter, just myself.

now that I am back and stuff and everything has been figured out, I am reclaiming my position(s) as Earth Queen and Avatar.

not trying to sound cocky or anything either. Just letting you know the reasons and stuff.
