He enjoys fighting and relxation. He loves music and making other people happy. Ryu trained him to be cold in battle whenever needed. So now Soran has the ability to slaughter an entire convoy of individuals without feeling the slightest bit of remorse. That isn't to say he doesn't have a softer side. Whenever the lives of those he cares about are in danger, he will quickly spring into action if he feels needed. Soran's personality is considerably calmer and much more serious than most individuals, but he still has a habit of joking around and disrespecting those around him. He loves to relax and enjoy himself. He will often go train alone or go into a tranquil state of solitary. However, he also loves to travel and learn new things. That is the way he became after being trained by others from different cultures. In truth, Soran has the curiosity of a child and the heart of a killer. As an assassin; Soran is proud, cunning, cruel, and loves to fight. The lives of others hold absolutely no value to him, and he shows no remorse for his actions. As a pragmatist, he will strike without a moment's thought, warning, or hesitation. This makes him a skilled and extremely aggressive opponent, showing mastery in Airbending and an expertise in swordsmanship. He is swift and agile, able to perform complicated and nearly impossible acrobatic feats such as jumping off of a high cliff while landing squarely on his feet. The swift warrior is also a difficult opponent to fight in close combat, as he can quickly counterattack if struck multiple times, making him very dangerous. He is also shown to be an uncaring, cold, and ruthless individual, having not the slightest sympathy for anyone. Abilities: Soran has spent his life training in order to develop his own style of combat and exhibits an incredible degree of skill as a swordsman, being capable of delivering multiple precision strikes at speeds that mimic the current of the wind. This style consists of Battōjutsu and Baguazhang. Both very effective on their own; but when blended together, they work perfectly for somebody who is able to manipulate the currents of the air. Being a master in Airbending, Soran is able to perform every single thing Aang accomplished with relative ease. Of course, this doesn’t include what he accomplished during the Avatar State. However, Soran’s abilities have been manifested far beyond what other Airbenders could accomplish with their pacifist nature. Airbending was clearly Soran’s best ability upon a young age due to the fact that he could easily make the wind thin and sharp with the aid of his sword. He could fire out a rapid fire of solidified crescents of wind that were as thin and sharp as the blade on his sword. Being trained from a day to day basis in the art of fighting with a blindfold on, Soran was prepared for the slight chance that he was ever blinded in battle he would be able to have an acute sense of hearing and be able to ascertain an opponent's position when temporarily blinded and subsequently disarm him, kill the opponent, and then catch a sheath perfectly on a sword through sound alone. (Much like Pian Dao) Being trained for all these years in the art of swordsmanship, Soran even mastered the projectile sword-technique uses centrifugal force and the user's hand (more precisely, the thumb) to shoot the sword from inside the sheath, allowing them to strike at adversaries outside the sword's reach. The culmination of centrifugal force and hand strength makes the accuracy of the strike all the more efficient, enabling the swordsman to strike regions on the adversary such as the middle of the forehead. Soran has even shown to be able to throw his sword with pin-point accuracy, as evidenced by being able to stab through an opponent, completely missing every vital organ and muscle in the human body. Appearance: Height: 5'11" ft. Weight: Muscular Eyes: Grey Hair: Black spiky hair Skin: Tan skin complexion Soran is fairly muscular but to the extent where he is swift as well as strong. Generally chesty with more upper body mass but strong legs which can run swiftly and deliver powerful kicks. He built his body up to the highest that he could achieve with it, but to an extent that it would not affect his movements or slow him down, therefore he achieved the body of the perfect warrior. Basically, he has the perfect blend of mass and tonnage to create the maximum amount of flexibility and strength needed in battle. Then, he built his muscle's tonnage to have a huge amount of endurance so he can last longer in battle when needed. Soran has black spiky hair placed in a ponytail and a clean cut face. He has two scars around his eyes received from his old teacher while learning the art of the sword. They have faded over the many years since receiving them. His skin is a tan completion while his eyes are a cool grey. This is from his Airbender heritage. He stands at five foot eleven inches because he hadn’t grown much since his early twenties. Due to his constant training, he still retains his youthful appearance that he has had since he was only the age of twenty-six years old. He typically wears a straw hat and his Earth Kingdom attire. This attire consists of a short sleeve-shirt with green-grey blend with samurai pants. The shoes are traditional swordsmen shoes. On the back of his shirt is a kanji of the Flower of Life pattern. This kanji is placed there in order to represent his affiliation with the Order of the White Lotus. He carries a katana strapped to his left hip with red cloth over the handle of the sword.  Weaponry & Other Gear: Katana created from Platinum Item Name Katana Materials: Platinum Description: This is simply a katana which is characterized by its distinctive appearance: a curved, slender, single-edged blade with a circular or squared guard and long grip to accommodate two hands. The edge of the blade was cut in such a way to be no thicker than a molecule. This made the katana sharp and durable enough to cut through solid stone with relative ease in the hands of an expert. The material this sword is made from keeps Metalbenders from taking it from the user's grasp. History: Many years ago; Soran was born in Ba Sing Se from a nonbending man whom had made love of an Airbending woman. Those were the earlier years of his childhood. Four years had passed on him growing up in a proper society. However, Soran soon left with his mother to the Eastern Air temple to learn Airbending. Being from the city; Soran was given the right to not cut his hair or get the Airbending tattoos upon the mastery of learning the element at the age of sixteen. From a very early age, Soran understood and unlocked all seven of his chakras. Soran's mother had also been teaching him the Airbending style of martial art. During this point in his life. His mother taught him the Baguazhang style of martial arts, also known as circle walking, which was the style known to almost all Airbenders. This style involved “smooth coiling and uncoiling actions”. Such moves employ dynamic footwork, throws, and hand techniques. This martial art features swift, evasive maneuvers that draw energy from the center of the abdomen. By also uses circular, evasive movements, the user builds up massive momentum; this buildup of energy releases a massive amount of power. Soran applied this knowledge to fight people with his glider while spinning and coiling his body to gain the upper hand in a conflict with any of the monks. Ba Gua is known for its constant circular movements, which make it extremely difficult for opponents to attack directly or land a single blow, a philosophy that is prevalent within Shaolin Kung fu. Maneuvers employ the entire body with smooth coiling and uncoiling movements, utilizing dynamic footwork, open-hand techniques, and maintaining the overall goal of preventing the opponent from turning to face the practitioner while in close-combat. After many years of this training, his mother passed away and he went off into the world on his own. Soon after the death of his mother, he even became a member of the Order of the White Lotus. He was then trained on to become an assassin for the group once one of the leaders, named Ryu, saw potential in the boy and decided how to teach him to fight with a sword. After joining, Soran was trained in the ancient art of Battōjutsu. Soran was trained for the next fourteen years in the ancient sword style that is said to pit one against many. It was the sword art that is known as Battōjutsu, passed down from master to apprentice for many generations. The one drawback to the style on a whole is that it is a physically demanding style, only a person of peak athletic ability is able to maintain it. Soran soon became a master with the blade as he was even trained from a day to day basis in the art of fighting with a blindfold on, so in the slight chance that he was ever blinded in battle he would be able to have an acute sense of hearing and be able to ascertain an opponent's position when temporarily blinded and subsequently disarm him, kill the opponent, and then catch a sheath perfectly on a sword through sound alone. This gave him great experience with the blade as he grew more accustomed to fighting and gaining the lust for blood in an actual battle. Soran trained every single day in order to perfectly hone his abilities to the maximum capacity that he could possibly obtain. Only fighting for the order and balance for the world; Soran became a deadly assassin kept secret from the world and only sent on tasks whenever he was needed. The only representation of this was a kanji on the back of Soran’s shirt of the Flower of Life pattern, which is what the original symbol of the Order derived from. As the years passed, Soran was not guided every step of the way by his new Master. Instead, he was made to find his own way, Ryu offering scant advice and instruction only when Soran found himself lost. Soran's new Master would never debate or enter into deep discussion with the boy. During the brutal training regimen, Soran was pushed to his limits, the physical tests he was subjected to bordered on torture, and many times, until one day he fell upon the brink of death. The training became too much for him, so he broke the rules and used Airbending on his sensei. Mixing both the knowledge of both Baguazhang and Battōjutsu; Soran developed his own unique style of swordsmanship in which he could easily avoid every single sword strike and slash sent from his sensei while constantly blasting him back with a gust of wind. This nearly got Soran banished from the order. However, he was quickly forgiven after proving his worth by applying this new combination to take out somebody truly evil. This foe was a Bloodbender whom Soran engaged in combat on the night of a full moon (see Soran RP sample). This wasn’t out of terrible planning or lack of knowledge of this dark form of bending. But it was Simply Soran’s pride getting in the way. He liked to fight his opponents at their best, an assassination is no fun if it isn’t fair. He caught under the foe’s control but quickly secured his victory by stabbing his opponent through the lungs and used Airbending to the oxygen out at an extremely rapid rate. As a wanderer, Soran awaits to hear word from a Grand Lotus. He will come whenever he is called. Until then he will simply travel the world after years of nothing but honing his skills. Reasons Why You Believe You Deserve a Master-Tier Character/Position: Hello, I’m the new guy! ^_^ I have been RPing for six years now. My very first site I’ve ever RPed on was an Avatar site (see old RP sample), so this is nothing new to me. But I haven’t RPed Avatar in a while so I want to give being an Airbender a try. I am currently a twenty year old college student who understands how physics work and how to realistically react to certain types of things happening in combat RP. Such as what would really happen if I ran through a stream of fire. Also, I feel as though you guys should get to know me. Looking out the window, the White Lotus Assassin thought about the future. He had just turned twenty-six and he didn’t know what was going to be decided for him and his future. What he had done was taboo, and now he knew something might be planned for him. But what should he do? On one hand, he would be safer just waiting it out. On the other hand, he could go out and redeem his honor by facing his most dangerous foe yet. He thought about it for a while before drifting off into why he was in this situation in the first place.
Getting in trouble in the Order of the White lotus was never a laughing matter. Soran had violated a training agreement given to him by his sensei. During the brutal training regimen, Soran was pushed to his limits, the physical tests he was subjected that bordered on torture, and many times, until one day he fell upon the brink of death. In a heated rage, had used both the Airbending art form as well as the bending itself in a training exercise while getting deeply cut up by his master’s blade next to his left eye and under is right eye. These cuts on his face would soon become scars that would fade over time. The council was discussing what they were going to do with Soran for violating a training exercise. As punishment, he was forced to destroy his glider by casting it into a white flame where it would be incinerated instantly. This was a symbol of Soran’s disgrace to the honor of an Airbender.
The Airbending samurai sat quietly in his room while pondering what was going to be done about him. Looking out the window; the swordsman could tell if was about to rain. There was a storm approaching while Soran sat in silence, thinking about the events that had just transpired earlier that day. The Airbending swordsman was discovered he could channel his wind through his blade the same way he was able to with his old staff. He had not assassinated any targets in several months and he was itching to try out his new combat style against somebody.
A sudden flashback of knowledge overcame the swordsman when he remembered his sensei talking to him about a man rumored to be a Bloodbender who was stalking and killing many nonbenders around the forest. The man was rumored to wear a dark blue mask in the shape of a wolf, similar to the war helmets worn by those in the Southern Water Tribe. Soran was informed of the many different and unique bending abilities in the world. Such as the manipulation of metal, lightning, vines, and even combustion! The only unique bender he had previously slayed was a Metalbender. Luckily for him, the platinum material his sword was made from ended up saving his life.
Looking out the window, Soran could see the dark clouds covering the full moon. This meant the man was in power and probably stalking another victim. Going against orders once again; Soran left for the forest before the rain would start. He figured he would be kicked out of the order anyways, so it was best to go out doing something they would always remember him by. He set out running that night with his Airbending speed boosting his momentum. He ran all around the forest until he encountered the man in the fox mask slitting the throat of a woman with a knife forged from whale bone.
This man was wearing a black coat with his hood up as well as Southern Water Tribe type of wolf mask. This hood was plainly adorned with a silver zipper and seemingly pointless silver beaded pull strings for the hood that form a semi-circle in the middle where the man’s mask could be seen.
The dark clouds in the sky began to rumble as rain was about to pour down. Looking at the stranger; Soran got into his Battōjutsu stance with his right foot placed in front of the left, putting his left hand on the sheath of his sword while pressing the blade of the sheathed sword against the curve of the sheath with his right hand, which would increase draw speed whenever he decided to draw the sword. The man turned around with a smile creeping from underneath the mask with a roar of hysterical laughter.
Lifting his hand ever so slightly; the blood rapidly drained from the woman’s throat until all of the blood within her body was now hovering around the man’s body like crimson red droplets. Soran’s eyes widened upon the site of this. He had never seen a Bloodbender in his entire life. However, he was informed of them performing a dark art of Bending that was considered to be dark and evil. Without warning, the droplets transformed into tiny senbon of blood that rapidly shot at the swordsman. Moving his arm ever so slightly; Soran caused a gust of wind splattered the blood all over the battle field.
The two were standing approximately ten feet from each other so Soran had plenty of range to use his bending. The man with the wolf mask slightly tilted his head upon seeing this gust of wind. You wouldn’t be able to tell from looking, but Soran was from Airbender decent even though his father was from the Earth Kingdom capital known as Ba Sing Se. A then insane roar of laughter emerged from underneath the mask. This guy wasn’t only a murderer, he was insane! Soran killed people all the time in the name of the Order, but he liked to believe his mental psyche was completely stable.
The White Lotus Assassin threw off his straw hat as the rain suddenly began to pour. The madman lifted his arms and a dome of water created from the rain droplets appeared above the two. Soran’s grey eyes were fixed on the foe that continued to laugh into the roar of the night. The man in the wolf mask then brought both arms down violently and created a huge amount of ice spikes that varied in size. Soran used a spinning motion to create a huge dome of wind to form around himself in 360° while making the wind thin and sharp. This furious whirlwind shredded up all the ice while simultaneously basted the sharps all over the battlefield.
The man used the rain to then blast two ice spears at the samurai. Using his Airbending teachings and circle walking, he easily weaved each attack and then rushed the man while keeping the same stance as before. The rain pouring down harder than before, soaking the charging samurai. He had to act quick and extended his right arm out while the man brought both of his arms up. The water froze around Soran and froze his lower body in place while his right palm blasted a pulsing stream of wind at the crazy Bloodbender. While flying back, the man dropped his knife and crashed into a tree.
Luckily, this stream of wind hit the man just in time before he could freeze Soran’s entire body. The only thing unfrozen was the hilt of his sword, along with his head and right arm. However, his elbow was slightly frozen in a position where he couldn’t reach his sword. The man stood up from ten yards away and slowly began walking towards the samurai in silence. He was clearly upset, but also very intimidating. The warrior’s eyes widened as the man came closer to five meters and picked up his knife made from bone. The Airbending warrior struggled while decreasing the wind resistance between his hand and his katana. "Why are you killing these people!?” Shouted the samurai as the man kept approaching. The man in the wolf mask suddenly began to run forward towards the warrior as his elbow broke free from the grip of the ice.
The swift warrior drew his sword while pressing the blade of the sheathed sword against the curve of the sheath with his right hand while the man was five feet from him. Using the momentum of the swift draw; the sword slash sent out a large, crescent-shaped structure of compressed air directly at the Bloodbender. The drawing of the blade was the same horizontal-motion used for the attack. This was achieved by transferring his Airbending through his sword and making a swipe of solidified air. This crescent of wind was as thin and sharp as the blade itself and was about two meters wide while it was sent towards his opponent.
This cut the man’s chest and coat. Soran continued this in a rapid-fire successive motion; continually cutting into the man’s flesh and making him bleed. The fell to the ground and Soran was still struggling to break free of the ice. It seemed pointless as he furiously pounded the ice with the hilt of his sword and began to crack it. Suddenly he felt something take control of him. His arm threw the sword to the ground as the hooded man stood to his feet with the knife still in his hand. Throwing his arm to the side, this violently caused Soran’s body to break through the ice and crash into a tree.
The man then pulled his arm back and shouted in a deep voice “Get over here!!!” while throwing a powerful right hook and knocking the Airbender on his back after zooming through the air. Not even a second of being knocked back; Soran was forcibly brought back to his knees while struggling to move his body. It was no use, he was paralyzed! The man held the knife to his throat, “I normally kill my victims quickly, but because you’re a bender, I’ll make you suffer!”
Upon finishing these words the cuts from his sensei began to bleed out. Soran let out a cry of pain as the man forced the blood two rush out and take the form of nails that were merely inches from Soran’s eyes. Without a moment’s thought, warning, or hesitation; Soran released a powerful gust of wind from his mouth and lungs that blasted the man back before he could blind the warrior. Regaining control, Soran ran and grabbed his katana and charged the man. Using his speed with the air of Airbending. While the man flew back he had once again dropped the knife.
The man extended both arms outward and created both a broadsword of frozen water droplets and a katana created from his own blood from the wind slashes. The two charged as Soran blocked each swing of the frozen weapons using only the sheath of his sword without even drawing the blade. This series of combos continued for what seemed like half an hour before Soran decided it was time to put these years of training to the absolute test in order to defeat this man.
Soran reached the front of the man with his right foot placed in front of left, pressing the blade of the sheathed sword against the curve of the sheath, which increased the draw speed. The drawing of the blade was the same motion used for the attack. It is an all-or-nothing attack where missing the target results in the user being completely vulnerable. The horizontal slash was weaved by the man as he brought his ice broadsword down in a downward slash with his right hand. However, Soran smirked as he reacted with a follow-up attack utilizing the sheath as a secondary strike. This second swing covered the period of vulnerability left after a normal Battōjutsu. Soran smashed the sheath of the sword against his elbow and shattered it. The man cried out in pain as Soran kicked him in the chest with a gust of wind and knocked him back into another tree and caused his hood to fall. This revealed a Southern Tribesmen hair style with dark blue beads in his hair.
The Assassin didn’t waste any time as he slashed his sword one more time at the man. The masked opponent blocked the platinum blade with his blood katana. Soran used his Baguazhang training mixed with his Battōjutsu. As his opponent blocked the first strike, Soran’s body would be spun around for a second strike, with the previous action adding tremendous force and momentum to the swing, making the subsequent strike far stronger. The force of the unusually fast slashing motion would be mixed with the Assassin’s Aerokinetic abilities in order to displace the air around the opponent, generating a vacuum in its wake that would suck the opponent in. This stab of the katana broke through the masked man’s blade of blood and pierced his lungs.
The White Lotus Assassin looking at the man’s blue eyes could see that he was going to die from this fatal wound. Soran pulled the blade out and sheathed the blade after the rain washed the blood off. The man fell to his knees. Soran grabbed the man by the collar and lifted him with his left hand after taking off his mask and throwing it on the ground before placing his right over the punctured lung. Let’s see how you like it, bastard!” Soran exclaimed as he used Airbending to forcibly bring out the remaining oxygen from the Waterbender’s lungs. Taking the mask off revealed the man to be a tan man with blue eyes that rapidly drained of life.
The warrior pushed the body down and picked up the mask before walking all the way back to the Order. He presented the mask and got reactions of shock and amazement. The Order of the White Lotus then knew how valuable Soran was and that he had complete determination and loyalty. He was not punished and was now praised as one of the best Assassins in the history of the Order.
- Original RP Character RP Sample:
Kento had just killed the moon spirit Yue and completely eliminated Waterbending from the face of the Earth. The skies were red from the unbalancing corruption upon the world that Kento himself had caused, Kento's favorite color was red so he loved it.
Avon had given him a mission, eliminate the Southern Water Tribe. Kento journeyed by turning his body into pure light and traveled at the speed of light directly to the Southern Water Tribe which was all the way across the world.
This took him less than a week to reach, there were only 200 soldiers left from Kaimu's alliance with Kyoko in which they split soldiers among each other. Kento had killed the old Southern Water Tribe leader and took his share of the soldiers to be added among his own army which was still in the Elemental Nations.
Kento appeared out of thin air in the middle of the Southern Water Tribe "My name is Kento! I am the one who killed Kaimu your old leader and destroyed the Northern Water Tribe! I have come here to kill you all!" Kento was suddenly surrounded by the last remaining 200 Southern Water Tribe soldiers. "You have brought about the destruction of the world and took away our bending! You are foolish to think that you could possibly take us on by yourself! Unlike the Northern Water Tribe, we do not rely on our bending so it was useless!" a soldier in wolf armor declared in anger, Kento drew the Buster Sword off of his back "Finally, a chance to use this thing. Too bad it couldn't be against anyone stronger" Kento said aloud as he was excited for the battle, he simply took a defensive stance and awaited their first move.
The man charged in anger at Kento's remark with a long sword made of bone, Kento used his master swordsmanship to slide down the blade with his Buster Sword and chopped the man in half. Kento looked at the sword as it had finally drew blood, and Kento's new personality liked it. Kento had grown up as an assassin for 4 years of his life, this was after he had killed his old master Yomado as a final test of his abilities for him to be free in the world.
Kento had killed many throughout his life, but something about his new personality made him enjoy it more than ever before. He hadn't been this happy since he killed the man who betrayed his father and got his home village destroyed. Kento looked up at the other 199 men standing around him, they were angry and Kento wanted to feed their anger "Come on! Come and get me you cowards!"
The men charged together, one after another Kento slew them easily with his Buster Sword. Kento killed them each by cutting a limb off, their blood soaked him along with the Buster Sword, his eyes thirsted for more blood. A soldier charged him with a spear, Kento cut the end of the spear off and hit the man in the gut which made the man move back with just a wooden stick. Kento felt with his seismic sense and felt that there were exactly 174 soldiers left alive.
Kento stuck the Buster Sword in the ground "Use brings about wear, tear and rust. Such a waist for a perfectly good weapon, wouldn't you agree?" Kento said in a mocking tone to the soldiers as he took his metal staff off of his back "Time for some fun" Kento said aloud with a small laugh. The soldiers looked at him. Some with pure anger and hatred, some with fear and some who were just annoyed. Kento stepped away from the Buster Sword and stood with his staff ready for anything, the men all charged at the same time and Kento smirked at their attempt to take his life.
Kento moved in a precise movement matching the soldier's speed blow for blow, he blocked everything coming his way and redirected their attacks back towards them with the sharp end of his staff and slit some of their throats and just whacked others away by hitting them in the head with the dull side. He continued to do this and was laughing as he did so. Suddenly, Kento saw that a man had taken his Buster Sword out of the ground and charged his recklessly at Kento. This angered Kento as he simply converted the weapon's structure into magma while in the soldier's hands before he reached Kento. Kento heard the sound of the man's pain and loved it. The soldiers now knew not to touch that sword or they would suffer his same fate.
Kento then Magma bended the buster sword the be in the ground like before and then converted it back into the special underworld steel it was made from while still holding his staff. Kento saw that there were now 126 soldiers left around him, they now surrounded him with shields and spears pointed at him. They were standing exactly 12 feet away from Kento and began closing in on him.
Kento took out his exploding shurrikans, lit then between his fingers with heat bending and threw exactly 28 of them at all the men surrounding him at high speed due to his doubled agility. They were blocked by the shields of course, but it blew them back away from Kento and destroyed the shields. Kento used this chance and made his fire scythe out of his staff and made the flame solid with lightbending. "Solar Flare!" Kento exclaimed as he made the sun rays emit a blinding light from Kento's body which would leave anybody looking at him temporarily blind. And with no shields, everybody surrounding Kento would not be blind for 5 minutes.
Kento light bended his body to turn into pure light and reappeared in the middle of the soldiers and began slaying them while he had the element of surprise on his side. He used his agility to slay them all quickly by cutting and burning their flesh. He continued this for 5 minutes strait until there was only a mere 75 soldiers left surrounding him. Kento knew if he continued to use the fire scythe any longer it could break so he stuck it in the ground next to his Buster Sword by the sharp end.
Kento then drew his Double-Bladed Katana "Huh, I haven't used this sword in awhile" Kento transfused lightning within the sword and charged the men armed with long swords. Kento once again used his master swordsmanship in order to slice up their bodies and stun them by getting shocked along with being cut, he dodged every attack they made towards him with a counter attack. He did this until there was only 50 men left that were armed with bone daggers.
Kento quit transfusing the lightning and sheathed his Katana and laughed as he saw that the last 50 men were the youngest in the tribe, he had killed all the oldest men there "Let's Go!" Kento demanded as he created his Chidori Beam: a beam of pure lightning that can reach up to 10 feet very quickly, which can cut through people and objects like a blade, and it is made solid with lightbending.
Kento was considered a High Lord when he created this technique, but he was now known as a Master so he created a 2nd one that he now held in his metal hand but made them both a simple 5 feet long beam. Kento used his fire jets to move quickly among the young warriors in a break dancing movement on the ground. So all together Kento was chopping men up with the Chidori Beam, slicing their throats with heated heel blades, and they were being blasted in the face by the fire jets.
Kento retracted the Chidori Beams and lowered himself while laughing at the last remaining 10 warriors who had pure fear on their face as they gazed upon the Blood soaked Kento under the red sky. Kento began laughing louder upon the scared look on their faces "You believed you could kill 'me'!?" Kento said to the young 10 warriors "I am the one who made the sky cry tears of blood! I made the sky bleed after I destroyed the source of waterbending! I have even slayed an undead dragon within the depths of hell! That is why they call me..." Kento extended his arm in a punch-like motion in order to create his Black Fire Dragon which now reached 30 feet long and Kento made it solid with lightbending "The Black Dragon!"
It wrapped its body around the 10 young boys and burned them alive, Kento then fire jetted himself in the air and controlled the Fire Dragon to burn the villagers alive along with destroying their homes and then made it explode in the middle of all the villagers. Kento then fire jetted himself to be in front of the sun, he was absorbing the energy from the sun in order to gather his energy in firebending. He then shot a GIANT ball of fire he made solid with lightbending and then made it explode.
Every surviving person was on fire, so they ran into the water in order to put it out. Kento laughed as he saw the survivors begin to swim away, so he simply gathered his lightning into a ball to create his Chidori and simply dropped it in the water. They all burned alive as the lightning ball conducted into everybody and everything in the water, Kento saw as all their bodies along with the bodies of dead fish floated to the surface.
Kento had succeeded in his mission, everybody here was dead and the Southern Water Tribe was no more. He lightbended his body to disappear and reappear by his staff and Buster sword. He picked them up, put them on his back then lightbended himself away and headed back to the Elemental Nations to meet up with his Master Avon. He was now more than a Master, he had taken down an entire tribe by himself, he was now an Elite Master

| with great power comes great responsibility. just don't make him *too* powerful (or rather, too invincible). we've had problems with people like that in the past. otherwise, I think I can trust you enough with the green light. Besides... if problems arise, it's not like everythign is final.  wait for one more (so a total of 2. used to be 3 but we are not active enough for that anymore.), and you're good to go. If nothing happens in the next 24 hours, I'll bypass the process because no one likes waiting. why else would everyone hate the DMV so much?  | |

| I am adding on here that I am going to make 2 gliders like the one Aang received in Book 3 using my Blacksmith skills. However, they will be made of Platinum found from knowledge understood for many years. Also, I am making two identical water gauntlets that fit on both hands of the user, these are also made from Platinum received from Soran's Grand Lotus information on Earth's natural resources and how to manipulate them. - Water Gauntlets:
The black parts are made from solid Platinum. These are only used to gain access to water much quicker when attacked. They work almost exactly like Katara's water pouch. 
- Gliders:
The wings look the same except they are white. The staff itself is made from Platinum 
I also wish to create these elemental weapons. While the group shopped in a weapons shop (Book 3: Sokka's Master) in the Fire Nation, Aang proposed the idea of the wind sword; he stated that an Airbender could channel air from a sword hilt and swing it about like a blade, similar to a contained air slice. I am only making three sword hilts to do this. However, one of them will hold a constant flow of water and could be used to make a blade of water or even a sword of ice. These will be made of wood. - Sword Hilts:

| incidentally, I am going to have to put some of these things into question. After all, it needs a reality-check.
First off, sweet merciful Jesus what is with all the Platinum? Platinum is a precious metal (currently worth more than gold, I believe)--it's not common like iron, or as common as dirt the way you make it seem. Hiroshi Sato might have had more access to it because he was rich and likely had the time and money and resources. So unless Soran's turned into the next Sato and got a stack of mining machines or is currently making more money than the Earth Queen and Firelord combined or something, being able to obtain large amounts of precious metals is simply unrealistic and a bit absurd.
Furthermore, you mention him as a *beginner* blacksmith (and said nothing about woodworking, as the two are very different, just as wood and metal are). To make such advanced things with that level of skill does seem a bit overplaying it. Maybe the gliders are okay, but even then, those were built by a mechanist who built things for a living.
And platinum for them is a big no-no, because they would not likely be able to fly at all. Platinum is one of the densest (and therefore heaviest) metals. Sure, you could use the excuse that we've put giant flying missiles into the sky that people ride across the world [/airplanes], but we're talking gliders here, powered by airflow over the wings.
I mean, if you're just trying to make them un-bendable... just make 'em out of wood like everyone else. Crikey.

| Platinum is not that heavy when hallowed out, those gliders aren't solid poles, they are more like pipes. But I see what you mean. However, the Order of the White Lotus has all the knowledge across the globe. Meaning an immense amount of knowledge about the Earth's natural resources and probably the Avaverse's version of the periodic table in its entirety. Therefore, they would have the knowledge to find such a resource. If Hiroshi Sato could find it, the secrete organization based on the knowledge of all four nations (Somewhat like Republic City) could as well. As for the miners, Earthbenders are pretty spread out throughout the Order. Therefore, they would be able to reach it just as well (if not better) than the Equalists.
As for the woodwork, that is something separate entirely. He is a master Airbender with the ability to cut through timber with ease. Shaping something and carving it into a simple shape wouldn't take much effort, other than actually getting the wood. But there are trees almost everywhere in Avatar. I can change the materials if need-be. I just don't want Metalbenders able to take our shit and use it against us to be completely honest with you. I can easily alter the material for each staff into Iron Wood cut and shaped by Airbending if you wish.
As for the gauntlets, I can alter those into water skin. Water skins are pouches used by waterbenders in cases where water is scarce or unavailable. They can vary greatly in size and model. One of the most frequent users of a water skin was Katara. This might actually work better to hold water anyways, even though it would not be able to block blades like I had hoped. In cases where healing is necessary, it is advantageous to have a water skin, as a body of water will not always be present when someone is injured. Water skins allow waterbenders to treat wounds acquired during a battle as soon as they happen, making the healing process more effective. The different sizes of the water skins also allow people to carry them underneath their clothing and thus launch a variety of sneak attacks. When Avatar Korra faced three Triple Threat Triad members, the waterbending member was able to suddenly assault her with a water bullet due to the use of a hidden pouch, which is what Jurishe would basically have around her forearms and calves.
