Cocking her head to the side, Anya pursed her lips in concentration. She had second thoughts on ordering the same thing as Katara, due to her sensitive pallet. Years of strictly Eastern Air Temple food would do a number on anyone. When the waiter approached their table, Anya sat up straighter. When he asked for their order, Anya spoke lightly, "I'll have water and whatever this lovely young acquaintance will be having." Her voice was light an airy, almost like taking a bite of a soft, spongy cake. She leaned back in her chair, the various beads jingling as she did so. Twirling a loose piece of hair, Anya watched as Katara began to speak her order.

Z. Katara Len	Katara also added an order of Spicy Sizzle-Crisps in with her order, as well as a glass of water. otherwise, she was ready to wait for it to arrive. Hearing Anya get the same thing as he, she raised a curious eyebrow. "You like spicy stuff too?" she asked curiously, as Katara loved it. There was almost nothing in terms of spicy strength that could make the youngster cry. It was a curious question, as Katara was not sure how many outsiders liked it the way Fire Nation citizens often did. Despite looking Water Tribe, given her dark brown skin and messy brown curls, Katara was pureblooded Fire Nation, presumably from Shu-Jing or the likes. Waiting for the answer and the food, Katara crossed her legs under the table and relaxed.

Anya leaned against the back of her chair, putting her creamy white arms behind her head. "I've never really had it, honestly." Her usually playful tone changed into a more intellectual one, "I don't know if you've ever visited any of the temples, but all the food is perpetually bland!" She rolled her eyes, letting out a hefty sigh. She continued to watch the girl, making note of how she appeared to be much more relaxed than when they'd first ran into each other. The airbender leaned back in her chair quite a ways, and then proceeded to let in fall forward once more with a loud 'thump!'

Their drinks arrived a couple of minutes later, much to Anya's delight. She sipped at the tall glass of water almost as if nursing an alcoholic drink. The water was cool and refreshing as she swallowed it, making Anya sigh with relief. Anya soon realized how parched she was, and took another lethargic sip of her water. After she'd done so, the woman rested her head on her hand. A thought crossed her mind; one that she deemed worthy of speaking aloud, "You said you're a nomad, right? Aren't you awfully young to be wandering on your own?" She raised a peach eyebrow, keeping her eyes on Katara.

Z. Katara Len	"Ah," Katara nodded. "some people love it; others hate it. it's sort of one of those things that you just have to try to learn where you stand in that spectrum. I personally love it, though I've known people cry from it. So it's definitely not for the faint of heart." Katara's mouth was already watering at the thought of sizzle-crisps though. She was wary of people initially--this was a given and nigh inevitable. However, she was not like that forever, and could be softened if the person in question was not deemed a threat. In hearing the older girl's question, Katara paused for a moment as if in thought. "I'm a nomad, aye." she nodded, "don't really have much else of places to go. I'm a big enough girl." She handled herself quite well for being a blind teenager. She did not give out her actual age, although she might if someone asked her that precise of a question. otherwise, the teen looked rather relaxed, although she was still hungry and hoping her food would get here soon.
