Personality: (70) Yu Jin is a fairly precocious child, understanding more than most people expect her to and using the information accordingly. She enjoys having fun, running around, and playing small pranks on friends and strangers alike, with her bending abilities; she is a child, after all. Mostly, if she does anything, she's in it for the laughs. There isn't much she takes seriously - though that
is mostly to her detriment.
Abilities: (73) With a basic control of the wind, this young girl can do several different things, but she generally learns the more amusing techniques faster than the rest. Her current favorite is the Air Scooter, which was not an official technique taught by the monks, but rather an amusing tool passed down from student to student. Yu Jin was also able to manipulate the air currents, so that she could fly on her glider.

(112) While she wears the traditional uniform that distinguishes her as an airbending trainee, Yu Jin loves to wear the ornamental sash with it, all the time - even though it's usually saved for special assemblies. She also liked using a single white hair clip to pull her bangs back out of her way, so that she could ride air scooters and gliders with all the other kids, without worrying too much about it.
On that note, her long brown hair was straight, save for the slight curl at the very bottom, giving it a little life. Her eyes were very expressive, but Yu Jin had a pretty good poker face, as well.

Description: A white hip bag with the airbender symbol painted on with a sky blue pigment. It was large enough to carry two changes of clothes, a few loaves of bread and some fruit, as well as a map.
History: (181) Like several of the other children, Yu Jin showed the potential for airbending very young, and was brought to the monks of the Southern Air Temple for training. Soon after, however her parents completely disappeared, effectively leaving their daughter abandoned. As she was far too young to understand, even too young to remember her mother or father, the monks simply told her that she had been orphaned and left in their care.
For ten years, she grew up beside the other children, envious of what they were able to have with their parents; love, affection, attention... Yu Jin wished that she could have known her family, as well.
One evening, when she had snuck out of bed to prowl the Temple in the dark, Yu Jin caught a snippet of conversation where she was mentioned... along with her parents, who had left her all alone and gone their own way, seemingly for no reason. Reeling with emotions, the young girl had returned to her room, thrown her things into her small pack, and taken off with her glider, without looking back.
