Tsu is generally a very sincere person. He likes to help people as much as he is able, however when it comes to fighting he can turn from kind to ruthless, though it takes a lot.
As well as the two main qualities he portrays, he is also many other things. Funny, charming, energetic, charismatic and a tad shy sometimes, but not very often.

He is capable of both leading and following, it depends on the situation. Whichever role is required of him, he can easily fill, it is quite easy for him to be able to do either, making him perfect for some roles.

His bending means a lot to him, it makes up the core of who he is, it makes his life happy and complete. He does not look down upon non-benders due to his kind nature; he treats them as equals. He loves equality, though he does not push others to his own standards, he respects your opinion outwardly.

He is not very violent either, he will defend before attacking in anyway, not liking to start fights which may one day prove to be his downfall. However he hates to see people he knows or loves hurt, that's one of the moments he can become deadly.

He has a very strategical way of thinking. He can plan out every little detail of a war plan, or that for just small groups. Either way, he is an extremely good tactician, and will only get better with age.

Tsu's abilities all primarily lean towards bending. He has had an education as well, his family being middle-class it allowed him to afford the education. Other than that he is just a normal person, other than his above normal bending talents, and his slightly above average education.

He was trained from the age of five how to bend Earth, when he showed signs of being able to do so. He is quite gifted at it, being quite the prodigy at such a young age, and already moving on to expert techniques. He strives to be the best he can be when it comes to his bending, and himself as a person, both qualities work together in harmony with one another. Both forms off bending came easily to him.

He has great body strength, though he may not look it he is indeed strong. His training had a lot to do with it, but he likes to keep himself in top physical condition.

He is a very calm person, and it reflects as an ability as it allows it to speak in front of large crowds without getting to worked up, he still gets nervous but he is still able to remain calm, usually. This helps with his tactician side.

Tsu is quite tall, not extremely so, but still slightly above average height. He is quite muscular, though he may not look it at first he is actually quite strong. Usually he is found wearing the bottom half of an Earth Kingdom citizen, however he is nearly always topless wearing only bracers and he is shoeless.
His skin is quite tanned, which is to be expected of an Earth Kingdom citizen, considering a lot of them are tanned, especially the Benders. His eyes do however set him apart however. They are quite bright for an Earth Kingdom citizen, being the colour of dried dirt. His hair comes down to his shoulders when he does not have it died back out of his eyes, it is not styled usually, just simply tied back. It is a dark brown colour-wise. He isn't anything special, but you cannot say he isn't handsome either for a youth of sixteen.

Tsu was born a happy child to two parents who loved him dearly. Being an only child among two well off parents, he had almost everything he could have ever wanted. Born in the city of Gaoling, he was brought up in a kind environment. His father was an Earthbender as well, along with his mother, so it was pretty obvious he would most likely become an Earthbender, which he became.

At a young age, Tsu showed the first signs that he was a bender. He was being chased by a group of bullies, who disliked him because he had everything he needed, and they were just urchins trying to to steal from him. He had just left school and was heading home, when they began to chase him, hurling insults at him. It was then that he "accidentally" made them trip over some rock that just happened to sprout out of the ground...

When his father found out about this, instead of getting angry as Tsu thought he would, he was overjoyed. His son was a bender, it was the greatest surprise ever. His father instantly sought out an instructor for his son, so he could learn bending and have his education as well.

Tsu's first lesson went well, even at a young age he displayed quite a high level off skill, not high compared to others but for his age range, he was quite the prodigy. He trained until he was twelve years old, that is about four years after his training began.

A new woman had entered Gaoling, an enigma to the townsfolk. No one had ever seen or heard of her. At the time there was an unruly presence in the town, a small group of thugs who thought themselves tough. No one bothered them, except this woman.

Tsu and his parents were in the market, not looking for anything in particular, but they were content at that moment. Tsu's mother pointed out a candy stall, much to the childs delight. However when the got there, the gang was there already, and demanded all the money the family had on them. Tsu, being quite bold, considering his age, decided otherwise. There were five of them, each far older than him, yet he had to do something, so he bended the earth around one of them, dashing ahead. Only one of them caught him, only to find that his metal gauntlets suddenly closed around his wrist. The man yelped in pain, and it sent the others running, they were quite petty. The woman was stood a few steps away, watching with steel grey eyes. Tsu and his parents thanked the woman, and she then said to Tsu "You have talent, child, would you consider coming with me to Ba Sing Se, to learn metal bending?" he frowned, he knew that Ba Sing Se was quite far away from his home, and was unsure. His parents however said he should go, they wanted him to.

They remained a month later, to pass Tsu's next birthday, and then set off, the thirteen year old and his new teacher.

Tsu is now sixteen, and has completed his training. He bends both elements easily now, though he still has a lot to learn. It was then that his teacher said he should travel the world, seeking new knowledge, and new friendships.

So he set off, to see what the world has in store.
