Personality: Mayuko's personality is an interesting one. While many will claim she has a split-personality, she doesn't. She can just act like two different people. One pleases the crowd, the other pleases herself. You could call them two different masks: Lady Mayuko and Lady Law. This is reflected by her clothing more than anything, but it does indeed reflect on her personality. For ease of access, they will be wrote down as if two different people, but you must remember they are the same person.
Lady Mayuko: This is basically where Mayuko acts a sexist man would expect her to act. She acts the blushing woman, the noble lady (Even though she isn't actually a noble) and the kind-hearted woman. She wears a robe that covers whatever she has hidden underneath it, smiling kindly.
Lady Law: Also her vigilante name. Lady Law is basically the opposite of her counter-part. She is cold and deadly, and will stop at nothing to stop criminals. She can be found wearing her armor and blade, and will stop at nothing, and she does mean nothing, to bring down crime. Ruthless is a keyword with this one.
You must remember, these are merely personas of the real Mayuko. Mayuko herself is somewhere in the middle of both of the personalities. She can both turn red, blushing, and be deadly. She is just a person after all, and she does have a heart. She is always trying to better herself for the protection of others, and is just generally kind and giving. But she does have her two sides. And the middle ground which is just plain old Mayuko.
Abilities: Mayuko is both a bender and a swords woman. She combines both the two abilities to the greatest perfection. After spending years honing both of the abilities, she is able to combine both of the talents to create a truly deadly combo. Her firebending allows her to perform long-range bending attacks, while her blade is for close-combat situations. Combining the two creates a range in which she is comfortable anywhere. Her blade allows her to run fire over it's keen edge, doubling it's already high cutting power. Her attack patterns vary greatly depending on the situation.
Her abilities are not all combat related however. She is quite proficient in roof-top climbing and the like. She is able to move anywhere within reason, so long as she can find a foot hold.
She can act the blushing lady as well. Utilizing the gifts of a true noblewoman, she is able to make many men do things for her. Despite not being noble herself, she was raised by a man who had worked as a steward for a noble, so as a result she could easily pose as one, even if she didn't have the gold to pay for her words.
Her skills allow her too do many things, and ultimately they help with her goal. To create a lawful world of order.

Mayuko could be considered good-looking by most, but not excessively beautiful like others. She is basically just average. Other men might swoon over her, but she herself thinks nothing much of her looks, appearance has never mattered much to Mayuko, the inside of a person mattered more too her.
Her hair is dark brown, and falls down well past her shoulders. It is usually tied up in some form of style, depending on which outfit she is wearing. Her skin has many scars on it, some small, none very large. They are not very noticeable up close, you have to be close to her skin to see them, while you are there take note of her tanned colouring. Her eyes are plain and simple, nothing special about them, just a deep brown colour.
Lady Law outfit: (Avatar of the profile) This outfit is designed solely for combat. Is is basically armor, that has been designed in such a way that it is both light and protective. It adorns red, black and gold colouring on it, traditional for someone of the Fire Nation. Her sword can be found on this outfit, whereas it can't be found on the other one. Her armor is always on underneath her clothing, no matter watch, and her sword is tilted so it faces the direction of her leg, as to conceal it. The armor it self circulates body heat and dispels it, to prevent sweating.
Lady Mayuko: (Character box picture) Her dress is simple, yet elegant in some lights. Yet again supporting the colours of the Fire Nation, the sole purpose of this dress it to look fancy. Her hair is tired up at the top if a traditional style, and around her waist is tied a gold sash. It does not cling to her figure, but rather is rather airy as to conceal her armor easier. Long sleeves and wide bottom half make doubly sure she can conceal anything she had hidden underneath

Description: The blade seems to be fairly ordinary at first glance. It's hilt is of very simple designs, gold wrapped with red leather. However the blade itself is interesting. It has been forged and tempered in such a way that it can withstands excessively high temperatures, but other than that it is normal.
History: Mayuko was born to a steward, who served a noble of the Fire Nation. Mayuko's mother died during childbirth, leaving Mayuko without a motherly figure for most of her childhood. Her father raised her as best he could on his own, but he was always occupied with his work to his lord. His lord, learning about his trouble, offered to adopt Mayuko. The lord had been trying with his own wife to have a child, but to little success. The lord could provide for the four year old in ways her father could not hope to compare to. Her father was torn by the choice he would have to make. His mind told him it would be logical, but his heart told him not to. He weighed up the choices, but ultimately surrendered his daughter to his lord. The lord was kind to Mayuko, he treated her as his own child, like he promised. His lady was equally kind to Mayuko. In the child's eyes, they were her parents, and all memories of her true father began to fade away. Her true father, not being able to cope without his daughter as his daughter, ended his own life in a gruesome fashion. While Mayuko didn't feel anything for the lords steward anymore, the lord did. He would always be haunted by this choice.
Mayuko continued to grow up in the happy household of the noble. They were not overly rich, but they lived a lot better than some of the world. At the age of thirteen, Mayuko grew bored of what she did. So far she had taken after the lady, in the sense of she loved to wear beautiful dresses, and keep her face pretty. But she knew in her heart of hearts, that this wasn't the only side to life. One day, she happened to notice some of her fathers guards training in the yard below her bedroom window. While she had seen this sight her whole life, it now struck something in her. The blades seemed to be calling to her with each metallic blow. She slipped out of her bedroom, and into the yard. There she walked up the guards, and began to question them about the blade. One of the guards snorted and said the blade was not for the woman, the other smiled. He was a handsome young chap, about fifteen years old. Mayuko felt herself blush as she talked to him. She had never before had such feelings for a man in all her life. The guard took some convincing, but eventually agreed to train her. They discovered her firebending not long after, the guard was also a firebender it turned out, so he trained her in both fields.. Two years passed, and the relationship between Mayuko and her trainer/guard grew ever... Deeper. She felt things for him, and openly admitted so one evening. The guard smiled, the seventeen year old was beautiful in Mayuko's eyes, and she was in his own. They may have been young, but they loved each other.
One year later, the guard was called away on some mission for her father to fight some bandits. It was there that he perished. Heart-broken, Mayuko vowed to avenge him. Her father, having long since noticed her training, drew her aside. Mayuko thought she would be in trouble, but instead he was smiling. He presented to her two bundles. One contained the armor she wears to this day, the other, Law's Toll. He spoke to her, his voice full of pride.
"This blade is Law's Toll, I want you to use it, and vow to uphold the law. Protect the weak from themselves, and slay the tyrants of this world, go, my daughter, and know that I love you, and I am proud of you."
Mayuko went on to slay the bandits, and avenge her love. She didn't think she would love again, but anything is possible. She traveled the world after that, and she was aged by it's experiences. She returned home for a few years, but again set out to uphold the law, and deliver it's toll.
