An Unlikely Encounter

Kei	Kei had been traveling for a few days now and was on his way to the Sun Warrior’s Ancient City. He had heard word of a group that he’d been looking into was doing something in Ancient City. What they were doing, he didn’t know. The Sun Warrior’s Ancient City was far from Fire Nation Capital, but Kei had to find out what they were doing. Kei knew that there was great power hidden there, power best left untouched. Kei couldn’t afford a boat to take him straight from the Fire Nation Capital so he was forced to walk as far as he could before needing a boat to get to the island. The path Kei was taking was a well traveled road that was currently leading him leading him through a valley. It was late in the afternoon and the sun was nearing its point of contact with the horizon. Kei hoped he would come across a cheap tavern soon as he didn’t want to spend another night outside. Off in the distance coming toward him on the same road Kei spotted Zulera. Kei had met the Avatar once before but they never had much of an introduction. All that happened during the time was that Kei asked the Zulera for her signature on different items knowing that her fans would pay a decent amount of cash for it. He wasn’t sure if the Avatar knew or not, but she was kind enough to give it anyway. It’s always nice to encounter a friendly face on the road and Kei could consider Zulera a friendly face. Kei wasn’t sure if she remembered him because of the lack of introductions last time, but even if she didn’t that would mean she also would not remember that Kei owed her one for all the signatures she gave him. Kei stopped walking, cupped one hand over his mouth, waved the other hand toward Zulera, and called out, “Hey Avatar!”

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	Akhet Sumatra Tallarico was a man of trickery and deception, and while it sometimes took concerted effort, the shock value and amusement of his trickery often made the efforts worth it. In this case, he was impersonating his sister: bare feet, blue, baggy clothes, and armored gloves around his forearms and hands, with a rather acutely crafted wig on his head. His voice was obviously lower, but it had the gentle tone that his sister's voice had. on the other hand, he apparently managed to deceive at least someone, because he heard his sister's title being called out in his direction. Zulera was nearby, but Akhet would have to go get her. He'd worry about that later though. Instead, he smiled and gave a greeting, still with the wig and everything. "well hello to you too," he cooed sweetly, "what can I do for ya?" He had been tricking people like this all day, and Zulera, who was hiding nearby, was finding it enjoyable to watch.

Kei	"well hello to you too," Zulera cooed sweetly, "what can I do for ya?" There was something off about her, but Kei put that thought aside, he was probably just tired. “It’s nice to see you again,” he told her, “And thanks for all the signatures from earlier, I made a huge profit off of them.” Kei then asked, “There wouldn’t happen to be an inn or something close by up ahead would there? I don’t like sleeping outside and its almost dark.”
