Personality: (171/210) As a result of having travelled much of the world, Anil'akar has gained exposure and experience in many things. He has a strong and charismatic social aspect to him, having dealt with many people. He's knowledgeable about many things and many peoples, giving him an edge in matters of intellect and mind.

Anil'akar is stubborn and strong-willed with a strong sense of personal beliefs. He speaks out against matters he disagrees with and gains the disapproval of many for his blunt and direct manner of speech. He's strong and passionate and has spent much of his time training and practicing and as a result has ample force to back up his sentiments, an expert in combat.

Being ambitious, Anil'akar has built himself a controversial name amongst his people. He is known for his outspoken attitude and his willingness to accept any challenge and as a result has gained both supporters and enemies in a political sense. He is known to be a decent leader though his modesty has all but disappeared.

Combat:
Airbending - Though not the prodigal son when it comes to airbending, Anil'akar is very well versed in its techniques and forms, having mastered all known forms to acquire his mastery tattoos. He favors high mobility while fighting, more using his bending to amplify himself more than to damage an opponent. He also favors disabling his opponent, using gusts of air to sweep at their feet or to blast their ears to deafen them. This isn't to say, however, that he cannot use air as a lethal force.

Staff - An expert airbender, Anil uses his abilities to amplify his staff, imbuing it with each strike, using air currents to strike harder and faster with his weapon. In all combat, Anil favors his staff above hand-to-hand, preferring to strike a medium distance and disarm his opponent immediately.

Martial Arts - When forced with back against the wall, Anil will abandon his staff and resort to his fists and hands to defend himself and engage a target. Weaker than his abilities with a staff and bending, he uses his hands to strike at the central points of his opponent, aiming to strike severely and quickly.

Weakness - Anil'akar focuses heavily on offense. When cornered and pressed down upon, he is a fragile bender, susceptible to any strike, be it heavy or light, earth or water. He weakens quickly so he focuses on ending a fight quickly rather than enduring in the long run.

History: (449/520)  Anil'akar was born in the Western Air temple and as such inherited much of the airbending tradition and culture. He, however, is far from a pacifist. He's much the opposite, proving himself as a willful and headstrong youth in his early days. As he grew, he never shied from confrontation, often antagonizing fights and welcoming what followed after. Despite this, he wasn't the strongest or the fastest and took his losses as well as his wins with modesty. Due to his aggressive nature, he'd gained the enmity of several Elders and as a result was not able to ascertain his tattoos until a much later age. As well as the elder monks, he had also gained the distaste of his peers, whom cast him out from their activities and groups. Anil was unabashed, however, for a strong taste and pursuit of knowledge took up most of his endeavors. He'd spend much of his time in the libraries engulfed in tomes if not out in the various courtyards training.

As he grew, he began to leave the Western Temple, his thirst for adventure rivaling his need for knowledge. More and more often he left, going further and further each time before eventually he would not return at all except after long periods of travel to the north, to the east, to the west, and to the south. Nature and life amazed him and he met many people which would eventually give him a strong sense of right and wrong, a strong set of morals. He helped wherever he was able and fell true to traditionalist ideals of the airbenders, despite their ever changing ways with this new era.

Several conflicts, however, reshaped his outlook. He had begun to abandon the merits of peace and evasion, igniting the passion that flowed through him in his youth. He had an unbridled mash-up of characteristics by the time he was aged; a love for the thrill and clash of conflict that was guided by strict discipline and honor, a short-fused and fierce anger and the keen perception of a seeker of knowledge. Journeying to many wonders of the world, he has encountered the harsh sands of the Si Wong Desert, the volcanoes of the Fire Nation, the unwavering mountains in the central Earth Kingdom, and the furious blizzards of the polar caps.

Now, with much exposure to the world, he returns to the Western Air Temple to once again live among his peers, temporarily, atleast, and will look to the political affairs of the modern world. Of all his features, ambition joined them soon after he resettled in the temple, his pride pushing him to gain the support and approval of his people.
