   Personality: Kitani is a interesting girl, she is brave, smart, and kind. When she does get angry, she can be sarcastic, rude, and tends to give people the silent treatment. That doesn't happen very often though.
She tends to be nice towards the other nations, which is a rarity. She also tends to be ambitious, as she dreams of one day becoming a master firebender, and traveling to many places. Specifically Ba Sing Se in the Earth Kingdom. (73) 

   Abilities: Kitani is fairly good at Fire bending, as she practices herself out in her yard every day. She hasn't nearly mastered it yet though, in fact she is still a beginner. She is also fairly athletic. Her weaknesses are probably limited to the fact she doesn't have that much experience in Fire Bending, and has never really used it in battle. She has never really had to. If it counts as a weakness, she is not completely loyal to the Fire Nation. (82)

   Appearance:
   Height: About 4 1/2 or 5 feet tall.
   Weight: Fairly Thin. Not too thin, but not fat either.
   Eyes: Her eyes are bright yellow.
   Hair: Her hair is dark red/brown.
   Skin: Tan. Not terribly tan, but tan.

Kitani usually lets her hair stay loose, and it falls down to her mid back. She does sometimes wear it in a pony tail. Her clothes range from tee-shirts to dresses, but when she's out and about she usually wears the same dress: A bright red dress that has dark red on the edges of the sleeves and the edge of the bottom of the dress. When she's at home, she's usually found wearing a tee-shirt and pants of the same color. Her shoes are often sandals of the same colors. (76)

   History: Kitani was born to a widow, her father was killed in a accident. Most of her childhood was good, she never knew she even had a father. Then it took a turn for the worse. When she was 9 years old, her mother died suddenly from a heart attack, leaving Kitani orphaned and alone. She still lives in her family's home, forced to take care of herself. She has trained in the back yard every day of her life since then, hoping to become a good fire bender. She has rarely ever left the back yard during the morning and afternoon, during the evening she will usually go to the store and buy whatever she can with the money her mother had left, which has grown less and less each day. (128)
