Loyal- If she has a friend, she will do anything to stick with him/her.
Shy- She prefers to only talk to and stay with Hyperion.

Abilities: Firebending- She was born a firebender, but she never got any real. She recently started soaring with Hyperion, who bought a firebending scroll for her.
Fireball- One of the few moves she has successfully learned, she focuses fire onto a small orb that can be thrown.
Firebreath- Rin learned firebreath before any other technique, while she was first training with the sandbenders she flew into a fit of rage and began blasting fire from her mouth.

On the front of her skirt there is also a Fire nation emblem.
Training- During sparring and bending practice, she wears red shorts and a red shirt.

History:
Rin was born into a low/middle class family in Shu Jing, Fire Nation. She was raised by her grandmother (Who is a non bender) until she traveled with her cousin, Shujinko, to the Sun Warrior's Ancient City. She watched Shujinko learn fire bending and wanted to do it herself so she returned alone to Shu Jing.
When she arrived in Shu Jing, she was welcomed home by her mother, Atsuko a firebender, and her father(who is shared by her and Hyperion), Tekashi an earthbender. She asked her parents about her ability to bend and they both tried to train her but she couldn't bend at her early age.
At age 9, she set out with her uncle Masaka to the Earth Kingdom. When she and Masaka arrived in the Si Wong Desert, the encountered a group of bandits who her uncle tried to fight off. Her uncle was taken prisoner and she ran towards the Si Wong Rock mistaking it for a building.
After traveling for three days in the dry arid desert, she finally passed out. When she awoke she was being carried by Hyperion towards the Hami tribe territory. She was hostile towards him at first but soon became very attached to him. When Rin first trained with Hyperion and Ghashiun she couldn't bend earth or sand. In a rage she blasted fire into the air from her mouth. Eventually Rin and Hyperion went to Ba Sing Se where they still are.

Rin was walking next to Hyperion in the heat of the summer. "Hey, Hyperion... can I ask you something?"

"Sure" he responded.

"Do you think I will ever be able to bend like a master?" she asked him.

Hyperion stops walking, "I think you will."

Rin smiles, "Can you teach me?"

"What?" he asked her.

She looks down and moves the sand with her feet, "I want to learn sandbending, can you teach me?"

Hyperion takes her hand and holds it up to eye level, "But you're a firebender," he says pointing at the fire nation emblem "You can't learn Any type of earthbending."

Personality: Fierce- He loves to fight and will do so every chance he gets.
Guardian- He will do everything in his power to protect Rin.
Smart- He doesn't read much as he considers it "boring" but he does like to learn hands-on.
Loyal- If you want to join him he won't leave your side... unless you try to hurt Rin.
Cocky- He loves fighting, and will do it every chance he gets. He presumes that he will be the victor of every fight he gets into.
Destructive- When fighting he will often attempt to destroy everything in his path to take down his opponent.
Childish- He is only motivated by consequences, not by the motive, spirit, or principle of a thing. He refuses to get help, and refuses to change his behavior, until someone else threatens him with consequences. He’ll change when he’s in the trouble, not because he wants to make others happy, but because he wants out of trouble.
Stubborn- He cannot be reasoned with.

Abilities: Sandbending- Hyperion has trained with Sandbenders for 3 years now, at first he learned fairly fast but his learning pace slowed because he is extremely stubborn.
Earthbending- He picked up on Earthbending from his mother, Rosalina, but never got any real practice.
Hand to Hand- He first started fighting to impress Rin. He has been training and sparing with fellow sandbender, Ghashiun.
Free Running- He has always been extremely athletic and he loves to climb, do flips, etc.
Flight- Using the sand, he can lift himself into air for a short period of time.

Description: Everyday-Hyperion wears a red jacket with the number "000" on both shoulders, his jacket ends at his shins. Underneath his jacket he has a black shirt and black pants, he wears black shoes and black fingerless gloves.
Training- During sparring and bending practice, he wears black shorts and sometimes a green shirt.

Hyperion is often seen, with a vase of sand strapped to his back, hovering slightly above the ground using sandbending to hold him up (unless he's free running or just hanging out with Rin). He also is found speaking Latin and saying phrases such as "Fortis evadere potero?" which means "How strong can I get?".

History:
Hyperion was born into a high/middle class family in Gaoling, Earth kingdom. He had a difficult relationship with his father who wouldn't bother to teach him anything and eventually left Gaoling and went to the Fire nation. Hyperion picked up earthbending from his mother, one day Hyperion's mother Rosalina was practicing earthbending in their home courtyard. Hyperion walked into the courtyard to see her practicing, he later tried it himself and found that he too could earthbend.
At the age of 11, Hyperion set out to learn bending elsewhere because he was too stubborn to let his mother train him. He was headed to the Si Wong Desert, on his way there he met Rin. Hyperion didn't know at the time (and still doesn't) that Rin is his half sister. Hyperion convinced her to come learn earthbending with him, when they arrived in the Si Wong they met Sha-Mo, who offered to teach them sandbending. During their first training session, it was discovered that Rin was a Fire bender, not an earthbender. When Hyperion turned 13, him and Rin traveled to Ba Sing Se where they are now.

Rin and Hyperion had finished sparring and were heading inside.
"Go easy on me next time will you..?" Rin asked holding her right arm, ribbing it slowly.
"I'm sorry, please forgive me." Hyperion responds before opening their house door.
Rin entered while he held the door for her, "Thanks..."
"No problem," Hyperion began, "anything for an united friend."
Rin stopped and looked at him "You're the one that did it."
Hyperion closes the door behind him, "What?"
"You injured me during sparring." Rin said before grabbing her vest and throwing it over her shoulder.
"Oh yeah... I'm sorry," Hyperion answered, "I'll let you win next time."
Rin clenched her teeth, "Hyperion I swear I'm going to deck you in the halls."
"But it's the middle of summer..." his childish trait beginning to kick in, "Christmas isn't for another si-"
Rin punched him in the stomach and went into her room.
"Oww..."

Personality: Guardian- She will go to extreme measures to protect or defend the weak.
Smart- Etsuko has a good deal of experience in bending arts, she also enjoys learning new techniques and reading.
Daredemon- Etsuko participates in dangerous activities, such as cliff diving, which is why she's with Hyperion/Hero and Rin.
Short tempered- Etsuko's ability to bend successfully increases steadily as her mood flares up.
"Go with the flow"- She doesn't always take things seriously, and she'll always have fun even while she's in danger.

Abilities: Waterbending- Etsuko trains herself because of the absence of a trainer.
Healing- Being an out going guardian, and a daredemon, Etsuko gets injured more than she should. She picked up healing from other waterbenders who have passed through Ba Sing Se.
Hand to Hand- Etsuko began fighting recently to keep her oath to help others.

History: Etsuko was born into a lower class family but had no relationship with her parents. Her mother, Yuhiko, died soon after giving birth to her and her father left months before she was born.
Etsuko's grandmother, Nanami, adopted her when Yuhiko died. Being feeble, Nanami couldn't teach Etsuko waterbending as well as her mother could have. When Etsuko was 6, she did her first daredemon stunt. She wanted to see how lone she could hold her breath so while she was outside, she used waterbending to bring water out of her grandmothers well and freeze it around herself. Her grandmother noticed that it had become silent and rushed outside to see what had happened. Etsuko was grounded for two months thanks to that stunt. Nanami died the next year.
At age 11, recently, Etsuko was going for a cliff dive blind folded. When she jumped she began to realize that the cloud was much higher than expected. After about 15 seconds of freefalling, she landed on a surprisingly soft bed of sand. Hyperion and Rin took her to their house after the incident and Etsuko swore an oath to assist others in any way possible. She is now a follower of Hyperion.

Personality: Generous- Arata is very willing to give to anyone or any creature in need. He always protects or saves animals in danger, and considers himselfa defender of the weak.
Spiritual- He is often meditating, he dreams of becoming detached from the world and to have a free spirit.
Cocky- He believes that he can't be beaten and often says "Death is an illusion" or "I will remain undefeated for all time!"
Open minded- Always takes the ideas of others into consideration.
Annoying- Only to Hyperion as he often boasts about his bending skill.

Abilities: Airbending- Arata was born to a father who was an air nomad so he inherited the skill.
Flexibility- Arata participated in acrobatic activities when he was younger, and as a result he became a nimble and flexible citizen.

Description: Arata doesn't often carry his glider around preferring to air scoot, but is known to be fairly good at gliding.
He wears white pants with red/orange and yellow shoes. His shirt is red/orange and yellow and he wears a mask that covers the bottom half of his face.
His hair is rarely ever groomed because he prefers to leave it alone. On the back of each hand there is a noticeable black circle with another circle in the middle.
On his chest there is a fire nation seal hidden by his shirt and can only be seen while he's training.

History: Arata was born in the Chin Village to an air nomad and a non bender.
When Arata was 5 he began airbending, his father tried to teach him but he couldn't learn as easily as his father thought. His father started to teach him about the importance of his bending abilities and why he needed top try harder to learn.
When he was 7, his father took him to the cliffs of the Chin Village where he first used his air glider. It was, again, easy at first but he still had difficulties learning to control his bending.
At the age of 8, Arata and his father traveled to the northern air temple so Arata could train around other airbenders. On his first say of training he showed that he was fully capable of bending on the same level as the other nomads. Three weeks into training at the air temple... he screwed up. He decided that it would be funny for him to mess up the air current. When he started intercepting the air currents the other benders were making they all crashed into him and then into the wall of the main corridor.
When Arata turned 9, he snuck out of the air temple and glided away undetected. He landed in The Great Divide after 4 hours of gliding at his top speed. He tried to make his way around the canyon but his attempts were in vain. He had traveled for 6 days with the little food he brought with him, but he found plenty of good coins scattered in the canyon and also a combat knife. Finally he had arrived at the Seedy Merchants Pier where he bought more food and water with the gold coins he picked up on the way. After getting refueled, he flew to Ba Sing Se to try and find his father who had mentioned going there.
At the age of 13, recently, Arata had been traveling through Ba Sing Se when he first meet Etsuko, who was on her way to the Si Wong desert. He followed her from a sorry distance before seeing her rescued by Hyperion and Rin. He later challenged Hyperion to a fight and was really overpowered.
