Kada Zaltana	It was no secret that the owner of "Dezna's Kitchen" was a master at his work. As such, he was running a successful little chain of businesses across the world. While few could compare to the work of the master himself, the shop's employees were some of the best chefs the world had to offer, so the place was fairly busy. Today, the Ba Sing Se establishment was in a bit of an excitement, for rumors of the elusive owner making his appearance were floating around, which meant that if he was working that day the food would be even better than usual--which said something in and of itself. Of course, it was hard to spot Kada Zaltana, for he would usually look just like any of the other workers there. One of the best ways to single him out was to look for the blue-eyed chef, for most of his Ba Sing Se employees had green or brown eyes typical of the Earth Kingdom, while those in the Fire Nation had brown or gold eyes typical of the locals there. Either way, the place was bustling with activity, most of the patronage being richer folk who could afford a bit of fine dining. It was a great place to come in for a bite to eat.

Dar Nih Mikashi	With a pocketful of money, Dar Nih walked into the bsuy as ever soup kitchen. Tonight was a reward to herself for being noticed by the Dai Li. In a good way. Though it seemed there was a particular air of excitment this night added in with the higher-than-usual head count in the building. So high was it that it took her a good hour to finally get a seat. With a quick look at the menu, she decided what she wanted and glanced up to meet eyes with a handsome blue-eyed waiter. She made an expression that hopefully looked like a friendly way of saying "I'm ready." But this probably failed due to her lack of ability to express herself.

Kada Zaltana	While Kada did sometimes work in the kitchen as a chef, he did not wait tables when he had employees to do that. Only when it was important royalty or other high-ranking officials did he do that. So, when his eyes met with a girl who was ready to order, he gave a slight nod, and walked past. A few seconds later, a similarly-dressed waitress appeared to take the woman's order. However, in the distance, that blue-eyed man stood against a wall, his eyes trained on the woman who had glanced at her. His expression was neutral--certainly not hostile. Whatever the case, there was not likely to be an incident here and now or anything. Kada was simply working off of his curiosity. Thus, this woman would likely be able to eat her entire meal in peace.

Dar Nih Mikashi	Vaguely disappointed that the man she had looked at did not assist her, she ordered her food with the woman that did. Waiting calmly, Dar Nih sat and silently meditated, looking inward and focusing. Finally the food came. And as quickly as it came, it vanished. With a satisfied stomach, she paid for the food and lefty a hefty tip. She got up to leave for the door but before she left, she glanced over at the blue-eyed man. Studying him for a couple of seconds with an expressionless face and then continued to the door. Outside she took a deep breath then cleared her mind and began walking back to her apartment.

Kada Zaltana	Another lovely thing about being the owner of the business was that Kada could come and go as he pleased. He had shift and production managers and similar hierarchies through each of his chain's stores, and so things always ran smoothly. Kada was a shrewd businessman all the same, after all. Anyways, after the curious woman left, he got a tip from the waitress who served her (the verbal kind; the girl got to keep her money) about the woman in question: A new Dai Li recruit, perhaps. Welp, Kada was curious (and perhaps bored) enough that he decided to follow after her. Slipping into the back, he quickly swapped his waiter's attire with just the formalities, leaving him in the slacks, shoes, and dress shirt; and then went out into the night to follow this girl home. Yeah, it was kind of a creeper move, but luckily, it would be easy to pretend he was doing something else, as to not rouse suspicion. But, such was the nature of a spy.

Dar Nih Mikashi	The night air was cool and sharp, the smell of dirt and salt lingered in the air. Her eyes went to the sky, looking at the depth and beauty of the stars and blackness. A walk at this time was perfect for her mood. Once she returned home, it was time to pack. Tomorrow she began her training. Finally arriving at her apartment, she closed the door and quickly set the fire for her tea. And while it heated, she collapsed into a chair with a sigh of relief.

Kada Zaltana	Kada made a bold move as he followed the woman back to her apartment managing to sneak in before her, and the situating himself behind the door. Thankfully she didn't kick it open too hard or anything, otherwise Kada might have been hit and thus detected. Instead, he simply breathed quietly, his motions not making too much noise. On the other hand, an attractive man in dress clothes might actually not be too bad of a complaint from some women. he was dressed modestly and wasn't about to undo his belt or anything (now, if she undid it for him, that was different...). he was just here for intel... at least ideally. He hid behind a rack of coats, only the bottoms of his pants visible, although he was lurking in the shadows. He was good at this whole spying thing, and so knew how to remain mostly undetected when he wanted. Not that he was perfect... but he was fairly skilled.
