The Nomaru Clan

Information:

The Nomaru clan are a group of blacksmiths and Merchants in the Northern Water Tribe, proably the only clan who holds both professions. The method in which they smith weapons and armor are differant then any other, in which their benders use the power of erosion to craft their wares. Because their tribe bares little minerals and metals, they usually make trips to the other kingdoms to purchase such resources.
Because of the rare methods they use, their wares have come in high demands. Because of this numerous smaller branches of the clan have popped up in the world.

Requirements:

Must be related to one of the members to gain entrance. Although their has been times when a close freind becomes a brother/sister in the clan. Marriage into the clan is the most common method of outsiders.
You must know the ways of the moon and the sea and follow their teachings of balance.
Have alteast moderate skills in either smithing, Merchantry, or Artistry.[Rp wise]

Rules:

Only Waterbenders can be smiths, as they can learn the Nomaru method of crafting.
To become Cheif of one of the vassel tribes, the age requirement is 20+. You must also have an Experience Rank of atleast Intermediate II.
To become a Head, you must have profeccient understanding of your craft(will be judge by the Heads of the Northern Water Tribe). You must also achieve Begginer II.
Men have little freedom of their proffession in the clan. They either pick one of the three to master or they are kicked out of the clan.
Women can break this restriction by marrying outside of the clan, in which the male must decided whether to take up the Nomaru name and join the clan, or Keep his name and live seperate from them.
Nomaru men who marry, still retain their name and clan status. The women become clansmen, but if they choose to work they can only choose the three professions. Otherwise they become housewives.
