Having been born in Chin Village, Reiko has known idiots and liars her entire life. Justice is called justice because it's "Just about Us", am I right? Because of the environment she lived in for a majority of her time on this earth, she has a rather rotten view of the legal system as a whole, and an even more harsh view toward liars and idiocy in general.
When confronted with an issue, Reiko is someone who prefers to go by the motto of 'Punch first, ask questions while punching.' She often feels violence is the best way to teach someone a lesson and finds it to generally be the best solution for any imaginable situation. In the past, the best way to cause little Reiko to calm down was to have her father or her brother Taro speak to her. Since her father's death and parting ways with her brother, it's difficult to calm her down when she gets going. More like an unstoppable boar than an Earthbending girl, Reiko's temper has gotten her into trouble a few times, whether it be with her family or a more serious light, but she's more than capable of getting herself out of these jams. When not absolutely pissed, Reiko is much more charitable and easy to get along with. She likes to take care of those she cares for, and helping out people who can't help themselves. So long as they show they have the brains to accept the help when offered it.

As a child in Chin Village, Reiko's family were largely farmers, and as the only Earthbender in her family of 8 children, (10 including her and her brother) she was almost immediately brought out into the fields and taught how to use her abilities for work by her father. Honestly, she didn't mind being put to work so early. It was how her family made their living and it was pretty clear that they only wanted the best for her, and thus her Earthbending began as more of a working tool. As she was taught to treat crops in all environments, this did lead to some light training in sandbending, should the need ever come up for her to grow her own food in a desert or similar environment. The training in sandbending was very brief, but taught her the basics well enough.
After her falling out of Chin Village, Reiko left her home and made her way to the inner Earth Kingdom, her primary destination being Ba Sing Se. During her travels, she found herself in Gaoling. With the ample amount of farmers and fewer people than usual, Reiko quickly found herself out of a job and turned to competitive fighting in Earth Rumble. It was in Earth Rumble that she refined her talents as an Earthbender for years, learning in a much more hands on fashion.

Reiko stands at around 5'2". She's actually rather pale given that she's from the Earth Kingdom, especially for a farmer, but that can be attributed mostly to the fact that she focuses more on her fighting nowadays than ever before. She has the most common eye and hair color in the Earth Kingdom, that being brown hair with green eyes, and she keeps it down and cut to about her neck. That tends to keep it out of the wa when she works or when she fights.
Reiko is far from a rich person, and because of that she can't afford the most LUXURIOUS robes and fashion, and thus she dresses more in a raggy farmer like fashion. Mostly green, which is based from her love of her nation. Sometimes while working, you can find her hair tied back in a small ponytail to keep it out of her eyes, but that's the only variation you'll ever really see.

Reiko was born to a relatively unknown family in the forever stagnant Chin Village to a family of farmers. After she had been born to a family of 8 before her and her twin brother, Taro, they were the first to Earthbenders of the family after their father. As soon as these gifts were discovered, their father quickly put them to work, teaching them the basics of Earthbending and how the skill can be used to tend to crops and to make a living in the world. Under her father's watchful eye the two became relatively proficient Earthbenders, and even novice Sandbenders to give them an opportunity to work wherever they decided to move
Around the time when Reiko was 10, the Chin judicial system reared its ugly head into her life, and her father was tried on account of grand theft and murder. While OF COURSE these charges were absurd, they had to go through the village's legal system. In other words, they said what happened, then REIKO said what happened, and then they decided who was right. Naturally the mayor sided with himself and her father was convicted after a 10 minute long trial. End of story. The wheel of punishment wasn't exactly kind to them that day as it landed on "Burned in Oil" and her father was brutally murdered by the system. As one could imagine, the family had a very sour taste in their mouth for their home village at this point and were perfectly prepared to get up and leave, and so they did. With their relatively expansive knowledge of farming and the two Earthbending twins, the family set off.
The family ended up in Gaoling, a town that is spread over several areas. Smaller families lived in a cluster, while wealthier families had large estates. Needless to say, Reiko did not live on an estate and farming wasn't bringing in the money that it did in Chin Village, and thus the twins had to find a new way to make some cash. What better way to do that than Earth Rumble?
Win or lose, you made money. Of course you'd get paid much more for winning...and even then if you did as they said you got paid plenty regardless, but the two joined up and discovered that they weren't exactly terrible at it and the twins caught on fast as a sort of tag team in the brawls. They caught on well enough that they were almost a staple in the fights until they 16 going on 17. Of course, things do eventually come to an end. The two were ordered to take a dive for the championship fight. There was a lot of money on their opponents and quite frankly, the arena needed them to win. They were new, and the twin duo had fallen out of favor with the crowds, and that's all that matters in show business.
Of course, the twins weren't exactly excited about taking a dive, and Reiko was more than happy to send her opponents spiraling out of the ring, pounding her fist and giving a few choice words. Her employer was less than pleased. The twins had won the fight yes, and they were paid their contracted amount...but then the fights stopped. They weren't scheduled for anything, they weren't given matches, and when the money stops, it stops. That sent the two back out to work in the fields again. Now with the children all grown and moved away, Reiko and her brother have parted ways. Where Taro has gone, Reiko couldn't hazard a guess, but her sights were set on Ba Sing Se.

Reiko sighed, she'd been training for this fight for months, and so had Taro, but he seemed way too composed. He raised a hand and put it on her shoulder.
"Hey, Sis, you alright?" He was always that anchor that kept her from flying off the edge, whether it was anger, self doubt, or something else that she couldn't think of right now given that she was quite frankly about to throw up from pure nervousness.
"I um...yeah. Probably." She replied, setting up her wristbands. The leather was way too tough for what she would normally where. What was she blocking, rhino horns? Or rocks that she could just bend out of her way if it weren't for the stupid rules of these fights. Taro didn't exactly seem convinced by his sister's grade A performance just now.
"You aren't gonna take a dive, are you?" He said with a raised eyebrow.
To be honest, Reiko hadn't planned on it. The money from it would be great but...they were contractually obligated to receive that payment even if they won! And to be perfectly honest she wasn't one to just lay down and get kicked pitifully out of that ring. Besides, falling from that high looked like it'd hurt. A lot. Like, broken bones hurt. And that would suck. She looked up at her brother and gave him a cocky smile, to which he laughed.
"Yeah, I wasn't a fan of it either. So, you wanna go kick some a'ss?" Reiko got up and stretched. "Oh you have no idea." She said with a chuckle, kicking off the shoes she had worn to the arena and throwing on the rest of her armor.
Getting into the ring, she exhaled calmly and got into her stance. As far as the guys in front of her knew, the two of them were going to dodge a few shots, aim some a little to the right so they'd be easy to dodge, and then get smacked out. Simple and entertaining. Reiko wasn't feeling it. The bell rang.
"Dingaling b!itches..." She mumbled under her breath, kicking a rock up and into the jaw of one of the fighters in front of her. The two had been told what was going to happen, they'd been told to be ready for it. They were NOT however ready for that. That wasn't in the script.
The other man was shocked to say the least, but attempted to counter attack and end the fight before it got out of hand. Taro had another idea though and a column of earth smashed into the man's elbow, knocking him back before the two broke the column in half, each taking one piece for themselves and barreling it into their adjacent opponent. The bell rang as the two rocketed off the side and...wow. Their manager, Jin Tan, really didn't look happen with them this time.
