A strange visitor

((So long story short, Mei was the Eastern Air Temple when she overheard a High ranked monk forbid more young benders from going on the Avatar's expedition to Wan Shi Tong's Library. Mei wanted to go so she travelled to the Earth Kingdom to Gaoling village.))

Mei huffed for breath as she climbed over a rock hill, looking over the edge was a village.

"A village. Maybe I can find someone who knows where the group is meeting…"

Opening her glider with the little strength she had, she lifted up to glide down to at least reach the gates. Closing her glider, she looked around the market. Various citizens were paying for merchandise. Mei reached into her belt and scurried her hand around.

"Oh no, I don't have any money. Just these leech nuts. Maybe someone will be kind enough to trade instead."
