Personality:
When being insulted, Hayate could care less on the person's opinion, but for his own personal enjoyment he would seem cocky and play with the person's emotions. If Hayate is feeling as if he is being threatened he would do the same as if the person was insulting him. Just playfully joke around about the threats and see how far the person will go just for his own enjoyment.

Concerning the justification of violence, Hayate with his playful nature, he thinks of fighting as one big joke, he believes violence has caused peoples overall image of the world to diminish greatly, but in certain situations will Hayate resort to violence if needed be. Etiquette is one thing Hayate takes seriously, he believes respect is a necessity, even though he may have a overly playful sense of character he believes respect is always needed no matter who it is or what they may have done. This only changes when an individual would come up to him and try to provoke him, when this occurs the sense of respect is lost.

Being 5'3, Hayate really hates how short he is, when being told of his short stature it really irritates him and possibly is one of the only things that will come close to provoking him. Being told what to do is one thing Hayate can never follow, he enjoys wondering off by himself and doing his own thing when accompanied by a large group of people.

Abilities:
Earthbending: Hayate has an aggressive and playful battling style, being 5'3 this allows him to be more agile and swift in his movements making his attacks come at his opponent faster and smoother. His fighting abilities can be greatly judged just by his figure alone, but when witnessing his movements and abilites you can easily see that he is on a whole nother level that what it actually looks like. With his childish nature and being involved in a circus you can see it resemble in his fighting techniques.
Seismic Sense: Through his seismic sense, Hayate can see where people are, their relative distance to him, and even their physical build. This allows him to predict the attacks of his opponents and react accordingly.

Standing at five-foot-three inches, weighing only one-hundred and twenty pounds, Hayate is by no means the largest earthbender on the block. Having not been the largest, this allowed him to keep his body in tip-top shape and have his body reach its prime at a very early age but also keeping a childlike figure almost masking his age. Beiing mistaken as a child at times one of the main reasons for this is because of the the length of his hair which stretches out down his neck, but towards the back he has a long braided piece of hair that stretches down his arm reaching just below his shoulder. Hayate continues to wear his traditional villages clothing everywhere he goes, the only modification made of it was the shoulders to where he exposes his shoulders out of his clothing.

History:
Hayate was born in the small farming village known as Makapu to a fairly large family. He had two older brothers, Shen and Chu, and an older sister, Mai. His mother and father both worked as farmers on a modest patch of land they'd inherited from their parents. Like many children across the Earth Kingdom, Hayate had a rough upbringing. Food was scarce, clothes were hand-me-downs; his parents worked nearly all hours of the day to provide he and his siblings with the just the necessities. Despite knowing his family's financial situation, it didn't make parental neglect any easier to deal with. Lack of attention from his parents led to Hayate often acting out to get any kind of attention he could. Little did he know, that didn't make things any easier for his Ma and Pa.

In an effort to relieve the struggles of his family, Hayate's older brother, Chu, enlisted in the Earth Kingdom army. The pay would have been enough to get his parents on their feet, but that opportunity went out the window when he was killed during a raid on a rebel compound. The loss of an extra pair of hands lead to Hayate's father getting involved with a local shady business. When he failed to pay off his debts, the business owner sent a couple of benders to collect. With his older brother now dead, Hayate was the only person capable of bending, leaving him with the responsibility of fighting of the debt collector.

Unfortunately, this conflict only led to more thugs being sent to their home until the debt collected. It was during these frequent defenses that Hayate's earthbending became stronger. The frequent attacks on his family's home led Hayate to join a traveling circus in order to make money to pay off his father's debt. He eventually earned enough money, but decided to stay in the circus because of the friends he'd made and the many places he got to see because of it. He traveled to Chin village, Ba Sing Se, and as well as his home town Makapu Village.

His involvement in the circus aided him by giving him the attention he always wanted from his parents. This let his childish nature flourish which affected him in his later years in life. While traveling with the circus he had many unforgettable moments, one of his favorite memories while traveling with the circus was when one of his best friends named Huan had to wrestle a Goat Gorilla. This led to his friend getting absolutely embarrassed but in the end the crowd loved it.

The circus just didn't feed his desire for attention it also helped him get in the best shape that he could ever be in. It helped him become more agile and just over all more physically fit. As Hayate got older this allowed him to do more extreme and dangerous stunts while in the circus. The stunts became more dangerous due to his hair getting longer and impairing his sight. This just made Hayate want to do it even more because of the crowd just going crazy when he performed these stunts. This allowed his seismic sense to become even more increasingly powerful which allowed him to do the stunts with ease.

As the sun began to set people began to gather all around Ba Sing Se. Citizens began feeling the streets, standing outside their homes, and as well as just standing ontop of roofs to see what was coming. Today was a very special day in Ba Sing Se, the moving circus was coming through the town at the time. People come from all across the different nations just for this very occasion but most of all to see the star performer, Hayate Minato.

Traveling through the city, the traveling circus performs all of their acts in the Middle Ring of the city near the Middle Ring restaurant. Setting up the circus near here the people who were gathered outside of their homes came to watch. When the clock striked ten the show began. Showing multiple acts that were both entertaining and dangerous. The crowd cheered, laughed, and occastionaly booed at the ring master because of the lame jokes he told to the crowd but in the end the it was still an enjoyable show. Nearing the ending of the show the ring master stepped forward to introduce the last and final act. Projecting his voice with as much enthusiasm to blow his vocal cords out he introduced the star and the final act of the night. "I have some bad news for you folks tonight...we are on our last act but do not fear this act will leave you jumping out your seats wanting more. Without Further adue I would like to introduce our star and last performer on the night, Hayate Minato!" The ringmaster said as fireworks would burst from behind him casuing the crowd to scream.
As the fireworks went off and the crowd cheered you would see a young male jump up over the crowd performing multiple supersaults as he lands perfectly on his feet right beside the ringmaster. Showing a bright smile and casually waving the figure would be the young male Hayate Minato. "Hey guys and gals! I hope you are enjoying tonights show because now it's about to get crazy fun!" He yelled as he showed a thumbs up to the crowd smiling at them.

With the little eyesight he had due to the long hair he had, he would still impaire his vision by putting on a blind fold. The crowd went silent, sitting on the edges of their sits just to await what was next. Out of no where a huge ball of fire would began to travel in the direction of Hayate. Still casually putting the blindfold on Hayate would seem not to notice the impending threat that is coming his way. At this moment in time the crowd would begin to cry out his name as if he was really in danger because the crowd believed he was. Screaming and chanting his name Hayate would look up at the crowd in confusion out of curiousity he would look behinde him to see nothing but darkness due to the blindfold as he scratched his head.

Being this all part of the act making the crowd seem that he is unaware of the fire was the plan all along, using his seismic sense ability he is able to see how far away and how fast the fire is traveling towards him. As the fire got closer he made it seem as if he was begining to get hot and sweaty, sliding his foot to the side he would bring his hands forward in a swift motion wiping his face as he wiped his face the earth beneath him would begin to attatch itself to him. In a panic Haytae would begin to panic screaming for the crowd to help but the crowd was helplessly standing their watching as the rock began to compress itself on him. Moments later Hayate would be covered in complete stone, as he was completely covered the previous threat of the fire would blast into him and began to heat the rock up.

The crowd went silent, there was nothing to be heard throughout the whole middle ring of the city. Everything just went blank. As the fire cleared you could see the rock has melted and sculpted itself onto Haytae's body making him a living statue, but as the crowd looked at the statue it looked as if it was smiling with its thumb raised, from behinde the molten sculpted rock Hayate would emerge from behinde it memicing the statue. At that moment the crowd went wild, everyone was screaming, crying, and overall happy from the performance, the crowd could be heard screaming all the way from the upper middle part of the city.

"Welp, this concludes our show for tonight folks, I hope you enjoyed the show and have a great rest of the night!" The ring master said as all the perfomers and himself bowed before the crowd gathering their belongings and began leaving the city.
