Good images are hard to come by for some reason. Lately I've been trying to draw mine myself, and that's worked fairly well. I don't know how your artistic abilities are but it might be worth a shot. Otherwise, faceclaim sites might work. If you ever want to to RP with one of my characters, HMU

Anyways, as for Avatars. I usually find it easy to find someone I like from a TV show, games, etc. and I just usually base my character's appearance off of that. I find that it's easier this way and save a lot of trouble.
