An Unexpected Meeting [Tamiyo]

Obsidian	Obsidian sighed loudly. It seemed every Crime Boss in Zulera City wanted him either dead or recruited. Apparantly he was also too easy to find, both Maranzano and Maya had already located his safehouse. “I need a new lair,” he thought to himself as he made his way through Zulera City, jumping across the rooftops. It had been a week since Maranzano broke into Obsidian’s safehouse and now The Scarlet Blade herself had just paid him a visit…offering to hand Minato over to him on a silver platter. He was hesitant to take her up on her offer. After all, the Crime Bosses were technically his enemies, but more than anything he wanted to bring his betrayer to justice, even it meant allying himself with the other bosses for a time. Maya mentioned that her partner Tamiyo would handle the deal, and gave Obsidian directions to a safe meeting spot, one of Tamiyo’s apartments in the centre of town. He decided to take Maya up on her offer andmeet with Tamiyo to see what the Femme Fatales had to say. It wasn’t long before Obsidian arrived at his destination, standing on the rooftop of the adjacent building that overlooked Tamiyo’s apartment. “Here goes…” he thought to himself as he took a deep breath and leapt off the building and onto the nearby street. Panic ensued as people scrambled away from the large metal man who just landed in their midst, it was the first time Obsidian had been seen publically after all and he was quite intimidating in his star metal suit. He simply ignored the scared civilians, wondering why so many people were out so late at night anyway, and made his way up to the door of Tamiyo’s apartment building before ringing the doorbell. He felt very awkward waiting while the people in the street pointed and gasped.

Tamiyo Mawas	Only a few seconds after the bell had been rung, the door swung open. Tamiyo stood in the doorway with the light at her back, dressed in her usual business attire, hair loose around her head. She smiled softly at Obsidian before taking a step back and motioning for him to enter. Once he did, she closed the door, not bothering to lock it. ”Please take a seat,” she said, motioning to two comfy armchairs near to a roaring fire. She herself took the far one, sitting all the way back and crossing her legs at the ankles. She yearned for a drink, but unfortunately had come to the apartment alone in a show of good faith. ”Can I get you anything? A drink, perhaps?” she said, motioning to the bar behind her.

Obsidian	Obsidian couldn’t help but marvel at the beautiful and lavishly adorned room. Tamiyo certainly lived the high life and it was certainly a change from the simple lifestyle Obsidian had become accustomed to. The vigilante leaned backto sit in the armchair that Tamiyo gestured to and it felt like he was going to sink completely into it. It was very comfortable compared to what he was used to. When Tamiyo offered Obsidian a drink he raised his metallic hand to his mask, indicating that it had no mouthpiece. “No thank you,” he replied politely, unable to hide his gravelly voice, “I’d much rather like to know exactly why I am so popular amongst my enemies all of a sudden?”

Tamiyo Mawas	A soft noise of delight came from the woman’s mouth as Obsidian spoke. She tilted her head to the side, gazing at his mask with a smile on her face. ”How could you be anything but popular, Obsidian? It isn’t every day that a war hero comes back from the dead and takes up a vigilante mask – you’re something of an oddity, even amongst the people in this city.” She reached forwards to the table in between the pair and opened the file that rested there, revealing a picture of a man and a set of blueprints. ”But, if you wish to get to business, then I’m happy to oblige. I know how busy you can get around here.” She moved the picture of the man to the side, revealing how detailed the blueprints beneath were. ”I’m sure you know Minato, and I’d definitely hedge my bets on you knowing where his hideout is as well. These are the blueprints to his building, and I’ve marked the least guarded entryways – I’m sure you wouldn’t want him escaping if you happened to pay him a visit.” She leaned back in her chair, still smiling at the bionic man. Without explicitly saying she wanted Minato dead, perhaps this crime fighter would equally be discreet about her involvement.

Obsidian	Obsidian’s eyes widened behind his expressionless mask as Tamiyo revealed that she knew of his history. He knew that both Tamiyo and the Scarlet Blade dealt heavily in information, but he had know idea they would be able to deduce his identity. He made a mental note not to underestimate the Crime Bosses of Zulera City again. He also did not respond to her remark, thinking that if he did, he would only confirm it as true. Instead he sat motionless, as he listened to the rest of Tamiyo’s pitch. When she opened the folder on the table Obsidian tilted his head. A picture of Minato and the blueprints to his underground fortress lay before him. He reached out with an metal hand and pulled a blueprint closer as he leaned forward to take a better look. It was legit, and this information would make his vengeance on Minato become a reality. He looked up at Tamiyo and squinted at her from behind his mask. “What’s the catch Tamiyo? Or do you just want Minato out of the way that bad?”
