Personality: Yui is quiet and reserved, but quite determined and perseverent. She hates the Fire Nation, but she would never do anything about her hatred. She hates people in pain, but she hates bullies more. She's the sweetest person you could possibly meet unless she sees you hurt someone else. Then, she may have to hurt you.

Abilities: Yui is quick on her feet; she always has been. In fact, she has problems slowing down. She can't sit still; she has to constantly be moving. That's part of why she's so quick. She also a quick learner. If she sees a move once, she can usually do it exactly.

Appearance: Yui wears her blonde hair up in a loose bun, allowing for a few strands to frame her face and fall down her neck. She has bangs that hang in front of her blue eyes (think Toph) because she likes to hide behind them. When she isn't wearing her Kyoshi warrior uniform, she wears a plain black shirt with two pockets on the front. She also wears a pair of dark brown pants that stop just at mid-calf. They have pockets on the sides, like cargo pants. She prefers not to wear shoes because she feels they slow her down. She has a scar going diagonally across her neck.

History: Yui's childhood is marked by tragedy. When Yui was ten, the Suzuki family was attacked by the Fire Nation on the way back from a trip to Ba Sing Se. Her parents were murdered immediately. Yui dove in front of her brother to protect him, and took a knife to the neck. Her voice box was ripped out and she was left to die. Then, her brother was murdered as well. Yui survived the attack and miraculously made it back to Kyoshi by herself. All that remains of the attack is a diagonal scar across her neck. She is also mute because of it. She began training with the Kyoshi warriors as soon as she got back. They didn't want to let her in at first because she was so young, but her persistence won them over. [b]
