Personality: Nong is a very kind, loving old man. He will always get a laugh out of you, with a joke, or with his memory. Despite his forgetfulness, he remembers some things very clearly. You can say it is 'burnt' in his memory. He loves his family, and will help them as much as he can when needed. He has the strong urge to never leave a job undone, and to do each job as best as possible. His 'arch nemesis' is his same-aged neighbor, who is also a farmer.

Abilities: Nong learnt everything he knew about farming from his father, who was a farmer also. As a teenage child Nong was taught to use a Jian sword by an old man from across the street. He tries to practice at least once a week, but his health isn't as good as it has been. Other than that, he has no experience with weapons.

Appearance: Nong is about 5"9' (1.75m) tall, and shrinking with the years. The most noticeable characteristic is his cloth headgear, which he wears when he is working with his crops. He has shoulder length black hair, which he ties up at the top of his head, a traditional male hairstyle. Usually, he has a mustache, but this varies. His skin tone is white.

History: Nong was born in Ba Sing Se. His father was a regular farmer, and his mother a cook at a local restaurant. As a child Nong learned to talk, write and read quite early, and loved books. something something I hate writing things like this blah blah Therefore, he was often bullied and laughed at for being a 'farmboy'.
