Personality:
Ro Mushu is a very confused person. He doesn't know how to deal with himself sometimes. The main problem with him is that his actions conflict with his personality. He is a nice person but because of orders he is forced to do things that he doesn't necessarily agree with. He cannot be convinced that he is a good person. Therefore, in order to atone for his sins, he regularly meditates for guidance from the spirit world. Since he cannot communicate with the spirits he always meditates for no reason.

Not a single one of this man's goals are realistic or achievable to most who hears about them. One of his life goals is to become the greatest firebender the world has ever known. He plans to do this by performing an act that even the avatar cannot perform. He has a theory about the avatar in that the avatar can use all four of the elements but cannot utilize abilities that are specifically meant for those born in that element. He has not heard of an avatar using lightning or blood bending. Therefore, he sticks to this theory. If he can perform his technique and shock the world he will have to be the greatest fire bender ever.

His feelings towards the fire nation are conflicting. In fact, if one didn't know his loyalty anybody that heard him speak would question his love for his country. While he believes that the fire nation is more advanced than any other he does not believe in world conquest. This is why he generally keeps his opinions to himself for fear of being punished. He has considered leaving the fire nation army many times. He isn't a very a good foot soldier. Ro is better at being a bender more so than pillaging. He wishes to be more of a teacher for his element than anything else. However, nobody else sees his potential like he does.

In terms of the avatar Ro's feelings are certain. He dislikes the idea of the avatar. He believes that because this all powerful element mastering menace exists the world will never be peaceful.

Abilities:
This man is a genius of firebending. However, his abilities are overlooked a lot because not many of them are offense in nature or seem to have a purpose. He figured out a way to maximize his bending:

One of his abilities is what he calls the flame draw. He has the ability to absorb a fire that is a quarter of a mile away. That doesn't seem very useful. Of course, that would give him a bending source but he doesn't shoot fire very well. Therefore, he doesn't appear to have an offensive fire bending ability. The only thing about this ability is that he is constantly trying to make it stronger.

Keeping in theme with defense Ro's firewall is strong. He can block element attacks with a bended fire wall to block relatively strong elements. Naturally, this wall won't hold up if struck. But it is useful for defense. Typically, he likes to combine this ability with his flame draw in order to create a fire wall when he needs one.

Finally, there is one offensive fire bending technique that he doesn't use very often. This is a technique that he learned from the earth benders. He was informed that when sand is burned at high enough temperatures glass can be created. This is why he carries a pouch of sand with him at all times. If he heats up sand in his hands and launches it at someone he has the chance to create glass. Normally, Ro likes to throw the glass into someone's eyes.

Ro is a slender man. He doesn't have a lot of height either. The man looks more like a common citizen in the fire nation. He doesn't
