Personality: Although his views on life and other people tend to be somewhat pessimistic and moody, Lament is very kind hearted and goes out of his way to help people, even if he does complain while doing it.: Lament is very skilled in hunting and tracking, he spent a good deal of his youth in the snowy wilderness of the southern water tribe honinig his various skills, while he is quite skilled he is by no means a master. Among hunting and tracking Lament is skilled at combat and cooking, his real passion lies in cooking for people but he would never admit it./b]:

[b]Appearance: Underneath his White Bear/Wolf Coat is the traditional water tribe outfit. He always wears his knife at his hip. His hair is shaggy and dark brown along with his eyes. He has a scar on his left shoulder from where he was bitten by the Bear/Wolf when he fought with it (which is where the coat originated from). His face is generally always angry looking even though he is a somewhat quiet and people shy person. Through years of various conditioning in the cold climate his body has grown somewhat toned. Lament's skin is not dark like the other water tribe members, which makes him somewhat of an outcast. Lament stands at an even 6 feet tall.:

History: Lament never knew of his father growing up for his mother would never speak of him. She passed at the age of 37 when he was only 6 years old and from then on he lived with his aunt May, who was 14 years younger than his mother. The death of his mother hardened his heart and he became somewhat pessimistic about life and people. Lament is somewhat shunned throughout the village by his peers because of his views and attitude but despite his sometimes unfair treatment Lament is kind at heart and loves to help people, even without being asked. Upon his 14th birthday he got into an argument with his aunt and ran away from the village, for a month he was nowhere to be found, the villagers became worried and sent out a search party. He was discovered horribly beaten and half dead from blood loss with a dead Bear/Wolf lying on top of him miles away from the village. He was only kept alive because the beast fell upon him as it died and the fur kept him warm as the winter snow raged on. Because of this he is very cautious when in the wild alone.:

Sample RP: Lowering his White Bear/Wolf coat to the ground Lament began to slowly remove his shirt. He touched gently along his left shoulder at the large pink scar that greeted him. He looked down at the coat and frowned, how foolish he had been, because of his foolishness the great beast had died. Stretching he took his form and relaxed. He had to bend his shoulder slightly slower because of the old wound, it hadn't healed perfectly and caused his some problems. Grunting he focused his breathing and raised himself to a stand, a few minutes past and finally satisfied with his composure his aunt called out to him "Left strike!" her voice sharp and melodic, keeping his attention on the order he followed, like water. "Cresent kick!" she commanded, Lament obeyed, "Dodge, Right block, left leg sweep! Again, sweep again!" Lament burned through his energy faster than he would have liked and soon found his breathing comming in ragged breaths. Years ago it would have been worse, he would be gasping for air and unable to continue but now he was more familiar and the training was paying off.:
