Personality:
Dai is usually a nice and somewhat talkative guy, good with words he knows what to say and when to say it most of the time. A fighter since childhood Dai can't resist a good bout, but most of the time he's passive-aggressive, preferring to avoid confrontation.

Abilities:
Dai is naturally a physical fighter, his body seems to naturally know how to punch and kick, so he is rather adept at hand-to-hand fighting. Bending came a lot harder to him, and still the more difficult bending still is beyond him. He says that it's like he has to force the earth to move, like it doesn't want to move for him.

Appearance:
Dai looks a lot older than he actually is, with his long hair as grey as stone. This Earthbender has an angular face and almond eyes that give him a pensive and somber look, but a smile that is warm and trusting. His normal attire is light blue pants and a sky blue shirt, black fingerless gloves and martial arts shoes. In addition to this he wears his training weights on his wrists and ankles.

Abilities: They slow down Dai's movement, he's been wearing them for so long that his hands and feet move at normal pace with them on, with them off he moves five times as fast. These add power to his punches and kicks by adding momentum in the form of mass, they do the same when taken off because they ass momentum in the form of acceleration.

History:
Born as the son of a powerful Earthbender and his wife of no power Dai was supposed to be as strong as his father, but it was apparent from a young age that Bending was not his specialty. For most of his life Dai's father resented his son and called him weak, and useless. His mother however saw that even though Bending was not his forte he still had skill and she taught him the martial art of Hapkido. This he took to like a fish to water and after many years of intense study he was able to preform basic Earthbending. At the age of sixteen his body was coiled with muscle and yet he wasn't satisfied and wanted to push himself further, that was when he crafted the training weights that he wears every day. His mother was proud of her son for his determination, but Dai's father constantly badgered him about his Bending abilities and this forced Dai to leave his home at the age of seventeen, and he's been on his own ever since.
