How do I get Sorted into the Northern Water Tribe Maddam ?

create a character in the characters board, follow the procedure, and mention that he/she is a waterbender from the Northern Water Tribe.
if the character gets approved, you're in. if not, shape a few things up [they'll usually tell you what they want you to fix] and then give it another shot.

now if you're thinking about becoming the Northern Chief... well, that might take a bit more effort, and some chit-chat with staff members and active RPers.
