Tiberius "Taichi" "T.K." Kavanagh

Full Name: Tiberius Kavanagh is his real name however after leaving the fire nation due to reasons revealed in the history he took up the alias T.K. his initials.

Personality: He is stubborn but at the same time very smart. He doesn't always think before he acts however when it comes to fighting and what not he thinks every action possible and chooses the best scenario and what to do. He is very leader-like and can be charming and charismatic when he wants to be however he refuses to use this as a weapon or tool. He has high morals and doesn't like the way the kingdoms act at all. The air kingdom minds their own business and the other nations keep fighting. He wishes that things could go back to the way it was in the school books he read when King Zuko had reigned over the Fire Nation. He currently doesn't support anybody and is on nobodies side as nobody is on his side: the side of the people. He lives to protect innocence and defense people such as children, peasants, and what not. He is very lovable and bubbly however can be so dead serious you wouldn't believe it had he shown that he was a bubly guy. He is caring, sweet, soft, and sensitive on the inside however he doesn't often show it as he has to be unflinching. He knows the sting of loss very well and fights so that others don't have to. He refuses to kill anyone and prefers to rather disarm or injure someone so they wouldn't be able to fight back. He is a people's person and the peoples savior. Unlike the other groups and people he doesn't want any power at all only one large unified nation that cooperates despite blood, money, bending or nonbending, or anything else. He took up an old groups name that has only been passed down through oral stories and dates back to Avatar Aangs time when he was still trying to master being the Avatar: he is the first of the new freedom fighters. Unlike the old freedom fighters however he doesn't approve of many of the things they did and would never be so aggressive as their old members would.

Abilities: He is an exceptional swordsman, a decent fire bender who still has much to learn, and an amazing strategist. Prior to his runaway he was the eye prodigy for the fire nations next military tactic strategist however didn't want this.

Appearance: Unlike the other fire nations residents who are usually depicted with black hair and sinister looks, T.K. is rather docile looking with his long wild unkempt white hair and distinctive puppy dog like brown eyes. He looks about sixteen even though he is nineteen and is five foot eleven. He has a very memorable face that you wouldn't forget especially for a fire nation resident. He looks skinny however he actually does have muscle they just don't bulge out all the time. When incognito he wears a black leather armor with a mask he can breathe through. The mask is attached to the light armor and covers his entire head however he can pull it off as if it where a hood. Also when he isn't fighting or anything he wears robe like garments similar to that of an air bender's but with colors representing each of the nations unified. He has a small nose and a pale/peach face with an innocent complexion.

Weaponry and Other Gear:
Name:Lux
Type: They were previously double long swords however all that it left it the broken edge of the blades and the hilt.
Material: It was steel.
Description: They are double swords named "Lux" by my character after the latin word for light. The blades themselves were broken in the war and my character makes fire emit in the shape of a blade on each end. This is not from a special ability or property of the sword but rather fire bending.
Abilities: fire bending is used to make the actual blade itself. The hilt has a light grown jewel in encrusted into it and it lights up when danger is near. It is unknown how it does this as the creator is unknown but presumably an earth kingdom native and previously belonged to an Earth Peasant.
Creator: Unknown as the blades were found in the mist of battle. The creator was however presumed to be a native to the Earth Kingdom. Previous owners are an Earth Peasant however this was not the creator.

History: From a young age Tiberius was treated roughly and always had to do perfect and nothing less. His ruthless general of a father began training him in military tactics and strategies at the age of three and then by the age of four had begun his sword training with a sai and fire bending. By the age of ten his older brother Hikouri began to train him in double sworded blades and assisted his father in teaching Tiberius his firebending. They would use brutal measures and would go all out with full power against Tiberius but Hikouri was more lenient and soft towards him. By the age of twelve his talent as a strategist spread through the fire nation and he quickly became a prodigy to become the next military mastermind or strategist however he didn't want this life. He went through five years of rigorous training to become a general or a strategist in order to live up to his Father's reputation but he didn't want this. Numerous times he attempted to escape but failed and bore the punishment. He was often branded with a sword and has several scars on his chest from these punishments his father gave him which was not permitted or ordered by anybody. His father did so because he viewed it as justice. He believed that Tiberius being born in the fire nation and given a gifted mind had a duty to put that mind to good use and use it to benefit the Fire Nation. He didn't see Tiberius as a person but a weapon. Eventually when he was Seventeen Tiberius finally escaped from the fire nation using a hot air balloon. He wandered and wandered until he finally saw the Earth city below and he landed far outside of the city where noone could see the balloon landing. He threw on the old green earth kingdom robes he had found over his black leather-like light armor that resembled that of Luke Skywalkers in Return of the Jedi. He walked all the way to the earth city and entered. He lived on the streets for a while until he finally met the girl of his dreams, Tamara, an earth kingdom peasant who dreamed of a normal life with a husband and family. She lived in a small hut in the poorer part of the town and after a week of seeing each other T.K. finally went back to her place to meet her overly enthusiastic and eccentric father. During his time here he went under the alias Taichi and only shared his real name with his new fiance Tamara whom he called Tammy. He got along well with her father and by the time he was eighteen the married couple had a baby. They both knew that anything could happen at any moment and Tiberius had gotten a steady job for a year now working at a tea shop and had been promoted to manager due to his strategic mind which he used to advertise and redecorate the tea shop. This didn't last very long as another year of happy memories passed as they enjoyed themselves and once again Tammy was pregnant. Tiberius' best friend Mikhail, another worker at the tea shop and a very good swordsman, was named godfather of both children. Mikhail had moved in with them and they all lived as a happy family waiting for the arrival of the new baby which would never get the chance to breathe in air. While Tammy was six months pregnant the war began and many casualties were met. It was a blitz attack by none other than his father and and a group of ten skilled warriors including his older brother.They burned houses to the ground as the earth benders continuously attempted to fight them off but it was useless they were easily overcome and the family tried to barricade themselves in a house but it was no use. They overcame the large peasant group. They broke through the doors and Tamara's father was the first to be slain of their small group. They made it out the back but it was a trap as the Tiberius father stood waiting with two other men including his brother.

'Well, well, well," his father chuckled, "If it ain't little Tiberius! Oh and you've got a son and a wife m'boy. be a shame if they had to die." His father lifted his blade and Tiberius brother blocked it with his own sword.

"Run Tiberius" he yelled!

"But . . . Hikouri" Tiberius uttered "I . . . I can't just . . . leave you!"

"Tiberius I can't hold him off much longer run now or it'll be for nothing" He yelled as his father pressed down on his blade harder.

T.K. grasped his wife's hand as she held their son tightly in her arms and Mikhail followed closely behind. T.K. looked back for a moment and watched as his father lunged his blade into Hikouri's navel and cut straight up to his neck letting the body fall to the ground mangled and dead.

"No" he bellowed as rage filled him and he felt like fighting back but Tamara pulled him away.

"We have to keep going" she said as calmly as she could and Tiberius nodded his head and the trio and the baby continued to run until finally they were surrounded by the remaining six Fire Nation army men including the general Tiberius' father. he smiled and he reached forward to touch Tiberius' son Zuko, named after Tiberius' favorite fire nation leader, and Tiberius sliced burnt his father's hand black as he leapt back in pain.

"Don't you put a hand on my son" Tiberius yelled as both he and Mikhail raised their weapons guarding Tamara and the small baby with dirty blonde hair as it cried.

"Don't you ever burn me you disgraceful peasant lover" his father bellowed and all of them attacked. It wasn't long befor Mikhail was on the ground, his head a few feet away but he had taken three men with him. Tiberius had disarmed one and cut the arm clean of another.but left both alive. He wasn't a killer.His father managed his way to Tamara and the baby and pulled her to his side with the baby.

"One false move," he said with a smirk as he finally felt in control of the situation, "And I kill them both!"

Tiberius stopped in his tracks his teeth gritted angrily. His father laughed as he continously backed up step by step until he was a good distance away and he lunged his sword through both the baby and Tamara. T.K. screamed and rushed forward only so that his maniac father sent a fire blast at him knocking him back as he landed weaponless next to Mikhails dead body. His father drew closer as he lunged his sword at Tiberius and he rolled over and grasped both of Mikhail's swords off the ground and blocked the sword and they broke. The shrapnel of the swords blades pierced T.K.'s arm gashing several small open wounds.

"You betrayed your nation, disgraced the Kavanagh name and you are no son of mine," his father yelled as he swung his blade down, "You are fire you are destruction and that is all you'll ever be! Now you die traitor!"

"I am nothing like you" he yelled back more brave than he felt.

Tiberius put all his heart, soul, vengefulness, hope, and anger into one last move as he swung the hilts of both swords and bended flames to create blades of fire that struck through his father's sword. Just as he had predicted the metal became too hot to handle and Tiberius' father dropped the hot blade as Tiberius slashed the fiery blade across his face making half his face black and crisp as it busted with flames and he screamed. Tiberius ran over to Tamara who was still clutching the dead baby in her arms. Tiberius lifted her into his arms and leaned her against his lap while still having to hold her as he examined the wound which had punctured a major artery and he knew she would die but he couldn't accept it.

"Tammy don't you die on me too not you" he sobbed as her protuberant light blue eyes were half open and he moved her dirty blonde hair behind her ear.

"Taichi . . . you are . . . light" she whispered with her dying breath and he watched the light leave her eyes as he cried the rain pouring heavily down on him. After awhile of doing so her rushed inside his house and grabbed all his belongings and all the money and clothing he could find before rushing back outside and picking up Tamara and Zuko. He rushed off into the forest to somewhere he never thought he'd see again . . . his old fire nation balloon an hour and a half walk from the city. He placed the bodies in his balloon and sailed off through the skies. He would be known to the fire nation as a traitor and the earth and water nations sure wouldn't welcome him. Not to mention the air benders believed they were untouchable in their parts . . . that it wouldn't effect them somehow but it would. It always finds its way back. He eventually buried them in a plains area that was extremely recognizable that he could revisted if he wanted to. He travelled throughout the nations helping peasants and such that were under attack or defending villages against enemies. he worked under a new alias as every knew about Taichi and Tiberius so he used his initials with no last name. He went under the title "T.K. Freedom Fighter" but people usually shortened it to T.K. which he didn't mind.
