Hello! So, this looks like a pretty awesome forum! What to say... I'm 24 and a life-long student. I've had a look around but I still have a few questions as to storyline/timeline of the forums overall. How far removed in time is it from the events of the tv series? I mainly ask because I've got a character pretty well thought out but I want to make sure his backstory fits with the world at large. I'm going to post what I have so far for him but depending on when this is all set/politics of the world-at-large (ie, what's the Fire Nation doing at present) I might want to tweak a few things.

The site takes place instead of Korra. As in, this is an alternate timeline than what Korra is. There is no one city thing that it takes place in. Other than that, it's all good.
