Personality: Having spent most of her time around men during her training, Kii has an overly developed masculine side, making her quite the tomboy. She can be brash, and rarely hesitates to exercise her strength, however she occasionally shows her gentle side that would remind any who knew their familiy of her mother. But while Kii does not object to violence, she is not one to be cruel, and is in fact very loyal and friendly. She's known to have a fiery temper, though.
Abilities: As a firebender, Kii has the pyrokinetic ability to control fire, which she can create without the need of an external source. Her desire to use the element is weak however, so her attack range is usually kept short, with fire attacks consisting of small controlled flames that appear in a quick flash upon a punch or a kick. When in need of a projectile, Kii will generally produce softball-sized fireballs, which she has very good aim with when launched. While her attacks are not particularly destructive, Kii displays very good control over small condensed flames. Larger, violent, flames are not beyond her ability, though using them comes at the cost of control.
Her time spent in the Earth Kingdom, both in training and in captivity, has left Kii with an enduring body, strong legs, and solid fists. While swift, agile, and flexible from her firebending training, she has also adopted low and sturdy stances from watching earthbenders. Being unreliant on her bending has made Kii a very formidable hand-to-hand combatant.
Appearance: Kii is a bit tall for her age, standing at 5'4", but at 110lbs she's also very thin. Her hair is long, red, and kept in a ponytail that runs nearly to her knees, and is decorated with a black bow near the end. Her skin is a soft peach color, though close inspection reveals many faded scars. Her eyes are sapphire blue.
Kii dresses in a sandy-brown colored uwagi (jacket) with a chestnut colored shirt underneath. Below, she wears wide dark brown pants that tuck into matching knee-high seal skin boots with red laces. A white obi is tied around her waist, and white bandages are usually tied around her hands.

History: Kii was born to a young mother who was married to a much older man, and retired member of the Fire Nation elite. It wasn't long after she learned to walk that Kii began learning the ways of firebending, which her father knew without a doubt his daughter was capable of. Having wanted a son, Kii's father never made training easy for his only child despite her gender; his wife - Kii's mother - was much too weak to have another child, so he was forced to make do, and pass down all his knowledge to a girl. It was unfortunate however that Kii, while possessing the talent, was a poor student. She was hardly fond of the element of fire, what it could do to the things it touched, and somewhat feared it. This hesitant attitude constantly stalled her learning.
When her abilities were considered average, Kii was taken on a journey with her father to further their training. Their stay in the Earth Kingdom was interrupted however, as one night Kii and her father were abducted and sold as slaves to protect the wealthy during an expedition in the Si Wong Desert.
Kii faced many hardships, but she was able to depend on the strength of her father, who remained strong despite his age and fatigue. It was he who eventually freed his daughter and the other slaves, leaving Kii to flee for her life - by herself.
Returning home to her mother, Kii tried to fill the role of her father, but could provide little, and they were soon forced to leave Fire Nation Capitol. They took refuge in Jang Hui, but Kii's mother grew ill, and she was sent away to live with a doctor.
Without knowing the whereabouts of either of her parents, Kii was free to start a new life wherever she wanted, doing whatever she wanted. Would she seek revenge, live peacefully, or would she search for her father?
