Personality: Ryo is a short tempered, impulsive young man who nearly always goes by instinct rather than thought and planning. This is not always a bad thing, bt it does make life rather difficult for Ryo, often blabbing out things that should be left unsaid, for picking a fight without knowing the full story. Other then that, Ryo is a caring person and will work and work until a person they care about it happy, taking pride in creating joy in others. Ryo is usually friendly and cheerfu, but Ryo is very protective of family, friends, and his fellow soilders. Combind with is impulsive, on the sot behaviour, Ryo is the type of person who would jump infront of a sword for another human, even if it ment his life.

Abilities: Ryo was knowen as a "late blooming" fire bender by his family, as this skill didn't develop until his midteens, around the age of 15. While he is a bender, he doesn't depend soully on it as his fellow benders do. Since his bending is not very good and he was trained at the FN militray camps, he is an exellent hand to hand combat fighter, and perfers a good ol' fist fight then a bending showdown.

Appearance: Ryo, does care much for his appearance, or take much pride in it really, even if he is actaully quite hansome. Ryo has a firm jaw and golden eyes, that often show every thought or emotion in his head, even if he doesn't want it to be shown. Ryo has dark brown hair, almost black, cut very short. He keeps his hair like this as it is easier to keep, not for any reason other then that. Ryo as a child was extremely tall and lanky, and was often called 'noodle arms' by other children, resulting in his sister, Rin, to call him noodles as a nickname. As years went on he grew into his height, delevoping a musclar body type, perfect for a soilder. He has an athlete's physique, able to run for miles at a fast pace, and strong enough to take alot of hits. Ryo doesn't care much for fashion, he happy lives in is soilder's uniform.

History: Ryo grew up with his sister on a fire nation farm, always keen to assist his parents in everyday chores. His family didn't have much money, so his education was not the best. While his sister got to go to a fancy firenation captial bending school, he was stuck in the poor farm school, where the students were not the best. Ryo was often in trouble, for not focusing in class or getting into fights, usually in his defence. The other children used to make fun of his height and skinny limbs, but that didn't bother him, it was when they made fun of someone else. Half the time when Ryo came home with a black eye, it was not for standing up for himself, but standing up for a younger child.

As time went on, he had lost hope of becoming a fire bender, so he settled for a 'nonny' life. That was untill his 15th birthday, when he was pacing with the fireplace, and he managed to fire bend! it was to late for him to go to the fire bending school, so Rin, his little sister, would teach him everything she learnt at school that day as soon as she got home. Before long, Ryo was an average fire bender, and he and his sister were good friends.

As Ryo grew up, his family kept getting poorer and poorer, and with a poor education, it was hard to find good paying work. Ryo couldn't stand to see his family suffer like this, so at the age of 18, he made the decision to join the FN grand army. This would supply Ryo with a job fitting his personality, as well as earning a small amount of cash he could send to his parents. Ryo spent the next year induring harsh training, before being shipped out as a foot soilder, traveling the world.
