Burning Bridges in the Wind

At this point the airbender was tired of talking. She was tired of talking and oh so very tired of hearing that aggravating voice of his. The moment his shield splattered to the ground Hun-Hun took a defensive stance and spun around in a circle. Her fists came together and on contact she sent another, less threating gust of wind forward as a warning.

Her lips parted and she replied gravely, "You take another step towards me and I will not hesitate to blow you over this mountain."

Hun-Hun's head jerked with every movement he dared to make, whether blatant or subtle. She noticed his hand drop from his sword and watched as he took a tentative step forward. That was the last straw. Hun-Hun launched herself into the air and kicked down in a jack-knife formation, sending a razor sharp wind slice in Kanoei's direction. She followed up with a barrage of wind gusts and stirred up a fierce dust storm in her wake before sprinting toward the trees.

She needed to get away from him and she needed to do it fast.

Kano bent a blade of water skyward, splitting the blades of air wide enough to miss him entirely. The dust storm was a bit more complicated. He drained two more trees and brought the water up into many columns before himself. The funnel couldn't maintain its integrity amongst the columns. Even with her maintaining it, the wind dispersed, issuing out in every direction. Hardly any of the dust was able to stay afloat in the air as it slowed.

As soon as the air cleared, he noticed Hun moving for the trees and spun on the spot. The icy pillars liquefied again and concentrated into a ball before striking out in a long, thin watery strand, binding her foot and pulling her back. He wasn't about to let her run way again.

"No more running!" Kano said, planting his feet. "I want answers! I'm tired of this game. SNAP OUT OF IT, SPARROW!"
