She has a special relatonship with the water, just like most Waterbenders. She loves swimming, and being around water.

She also has bandaged ankles for more support.
History: Negu was born in the Northern Water Tribe to Saya and Britokk. Britokk was a great Warrior, but Saya was an even greater Mother. Even though Saya was only 17 when she got married, love was something that she respected. She grew up with Britokk and fell in love with him as soon as possible. They had Negu when Saya was 20, when they were both ready to have a child. Negu came into this world illuminating the room with her bright blue eyes. Saya always had a vision that her child would grow up and become a strong leader, so she enforced rules on little Negu.
Saya wasn't strict but always reminded Negu to not folow, but to lead and be strong. Strength meant something different to Negu. She strengthened her brain instead of her muscles. She read about the different places in the world, and the different people that ruled them. Ruling was something that she aspired to do, but the wars those rulers had to fight made her sad. Reading helped her grow and understand the reasons why those wars were faught. Her favorite subject to read about was the Avatar. The Avatar worked so hard to master the elements and defeat any strong force that normal people couldn't defeat. She wanted to learn as much as she could about the elements. In her Tribe, there were Waterbenders. Strong warriors who could manipulate the element Water and some could even cure diseases with just their hands. If her mother wanted her to be strong, then this is how she will go about doing that.
At the age of 14, she attended the best school her parents could afford. There was some Waterbenders in her classes, and she always watched them and would go home and try to reenact their motions. Just simple acts of waiting in line, or sitting, or even how they talked. She wanted to be just like them. One day, after school she finally went up to one of the Waterbenders and tried talking to them.
"Hey, Juk. Um. How are you? Negu stammered her greeting to the Waterbender boy.
Him and his friends were already weary of Negu, because when she watched them - she wasn't completely secretive about it. He was scared. He backed away and made an excuse to leave. Negu was discouraged, and when she went home, she didn't practice. That night, Saya received news that Britokk is dead. He's been away, fighting in the war. This nearly destroyed Saya, but tried to remain strong for Negu. After reading about death, Negu knew that it was a necessary thing - but even though she beleived in reincarnation, she still felt sad. She didn't come to school the next few days, trying to understand her feelings. After returning to school, Juk and a few other Waterbenders walked to the silent Negu. Juk told them that she went up to him earlier and tried talking to him. They started calling her a freak for watching them all the time, and that they are sick of it. The snow nearby began to move, maneuvering with their arms. They were waterbending and going to attack Negu, who was just sitting there taking their insults. The snow became water, and they splashed Negu. She was drenched, and shivering because of the cold. The kids at the school also heard about Britokk's death. They started saying that Britokk died because Negu was too much of an embrassment. This pushed Negu.
The snow wrapped up around Negu and began to soften into a thick water that she was now manipulating. She was Waterbending. She angrily threw the water at the kids who were to shocked to try to defend against. They were blasted back by her anger, and Negu just fell to her knees crying as her tears fell to the snow. The teacher came out and scolded Negu for using Bending against someone, and sent Negu home. Saya was angry at Negu, and scolded her for hurting the kids. Negu shouted angrily and told Saya what they said about Britokk. Saya began crying and then Negu hugged her. Negu finally cried for the death of her father. Negu never went to school again, but instead Saya was interested in finding her a Waterbending teacher.
A great healer named Arai would come to train Negu. Negu was interested in being helpful and she knew healing was her best bet. She has read up on some great techniques but never tried them out, since she just learned she was a Waterbender. Arai never really had a student before, so she was nervous. She was a 30 year old female Waterbender, and she was a perfectionist. Whenever she tried teaching Negu a move, she would immediately yell at herself and say that her lesson was wrong. Throughout 2 years, Negu learned how to manipulate the water and make a water whip, how to change snow into water, and water to mist, and water to ice, and also how to heal small burns and minor infections. Arai was very proud of her student. Negu was actually more proud of Arai for getting through the lessons that she got through.
Saya was so proud of Negu, and wanted her to continue training and become a great leader.
Negu had other plans.
**OPTIONAL**Sample RP:
Negu packed some snow in her hands, and made sure it was tight. She threw it in the air and tried to quickly get into a Waterbending stance. The snowball fell and made a hole in the thick snow below her.
"Awww. I'm never going to get this." Negu said as Arai walked over and grabbed Negu's arms.
"You will get this, Negu. I promise." Arai gently moved Negu's arms as the snow that was on the ground began to move. It picked up and followed the motion of Negu's arms. Arai let go of Negu's arms and the snow started to fall, but Negu tightened her pose. The snow stopped falling and it began to freeze. Ice began forming from the snow and Negu moved in a circle. The ice wrapped around her. Negu was so happy, she was finally controlling the water.
"I'm doing it! I'm doing -" Negu's happiness was quickly distorted when she figured out that ice is literally forming around her, trapping her in. Arai was trying not to laugh. "It's not funny, Arai. Let me out, please."
Arai just grinned and sat down, watching as Negu was grunting and trying to break free. She had her arms free at least, that's all she needs. She closed her eyes and breathed in, feeling the ice around her melt slowly. The ice was gone and now it was just a huge floating puddle of water that followed each motion Negu gave. She threw her hands up, and the water swiftly mimicked. She smiled at Arai, who smiled back. The water landed on a huge pile of snow, that absorbed it.
"You are doing really well, Negu."
