Personality: At first glance, the innocent face of this waterbender wouldn't seem like much of a threat. While Miyako is quite shy around strangers, she almost has the temper of a firebender if someone dares to tick her off, though her element is that of water and her temper should be more mild. She's very determined, and is a good person to have if you want to get something done. She is very protective of those she considers close or worth protecting - of course, this doesn't mean she's the most trustworthy person. Anything a person tells her could be something that she would stow away to use against them later, if the need came. If it's not already apparent, Miyako has trust issues, and some anger issues as well. However, despite all of the cons, the pros about her is that if she deems you a good enough person or a close enough friend, she's actually quite decent. She can be sweet, a bit of a dork, and when flirting or around someone she considers attractive, a bit ditzy and she gets shy once more, but when with someone whether that be a love interest or a good friend, she's very loyal. She doesn't prefer to hurt others, but if she sees it as the only option - sometimes her mind makes mistakes in deciding this - she will do what she believes she has to. She's not the most confident person - or at least, not in the day. In the night, she strides with confidence, and not just because the moon is out - she feels more comfortable in the darkness, which is what she belongs with. Miyako isn't really classified as a good person, but she isn't a bad person either - her logic goes both ways.

Abilities: Aside from the obvious factor of her waterbending, Miyako has learned some hand to hand combat in the style of martial arts, hard, blunt movements and hits that are similar to how a firebender would move, or evasive maneuvers that would not require interacting directly and physically with whoever she happens to be around. She also is a moderate bloodbender - she's not a master, but she's not a beginner either. Her waterbending is basically at the point of being a master, considering her training had started around the age of 4 from her father.

Miyako is a pretty girl - that's a first thing that most might notice. She has soft, innocent looking features, with pallid skin that is beyond the norm for the expected appearance of a waterbender. Her eyes are a light blue, as one of the only long inherited traits that waterbenders usually have that she possesses. Her form is slim, with flowing curves in the right places - even her appearance, though slightly different than the usual traits of waterbenders, speaks of her bending element. Her hair is soft, surprisingly thin, and a midnight black that flows to right below her shoulder blades, with a certain amount of it put up in a style resembling that of a Fire Nation citizen. Her usual clothing is sleeveless tops that are in the colors of gray, black or blue, with her bottoms being that of mid-leg skirts or pants that go about the same distance down her legs as the skirt. Her shoes are usually sturdy, light weight - good for running, making a quick get-away. She looks younger than she really is, but when she is serious or angry, it's easy to see her age.

History: Miyako Chou Daisuke was born to a nonbender mother and a waterbender father in the city of Shu Jing. Her parents weren't the nicest or gentlest of people, and there were many times that Miyako thought that they didn't care. Her waterbending lessons from her father began when she was 4, because he was a man that believed the earlier she started, the stronger she'd be and the sooner she'd become a master like he was. As a child, since she was a baby even, Miyako was frail looking - very innocent, very vulnerable seeming. Her father was no fool and he knew that if she didn't toughen up, in the future, very bad things would happen to her. He taught her waterbending at a moderate pace, and while at times he was very brash and insensitive to her, he did the best he could to make her as strong as she could be. However, his young waterbender daughter was often very hurt from her parents' treatment of her - she really did not believe that they cared too much. This is what brought her to the point of lashing out and leaving when she was 16. She inflicted damage to their house, and left.

During the time that she had had waterbending training from her father - which was up until the time she left - he had also thought to teach her bloodbending by the time she was 11. Her martial arts she learned from a firebender in town, by following his movements and being shown how to turn that into physical attacks. The evasive manuevers she learned were from the same firebender, by sparring him and finding out many different ways to evade being attacked, not to mention the few he showed her.

After leaving her home when she was 16, she trecked off and traveled, trying to find a place for herself. Her parents never came looking for her - all she could do was travel and continue to practice, learn and better herself in the way of waterbending, hand to hand combat, and bloodbending. Finally, however, she found Ba Sing Se, and there is where she resides, though sometimes she takes trips. Now she is 18, with a modest place there in a moderate neighborhood that is neither high up or poor. She has a job, a few actually, and manages to make some money to keep up and live comfortably.

She does not plan to go find her parents, because she knew that if they didn't come to find her, then going to find them would be pointless. She has a bit of a loathing toward her parents because of how they raised her, but deep down she cares. That doesn't sway her, however, from leaving her comfortable life. All she wishes for is to live life to the fullest while being comfortable.

Waterbending a little wasn't too satisfying. Nothing as exhilarating as trobuel had come her way for a while - it made her both sad and relieved at the same time. While she was happy there was no trouble like that, she had a longing for it. It always gave her a good feeling after a fight, a spar, something of the sort. It really did.

The black haired waterbender scuffed her foot, giving a soft huff as she looked up.

It was the evening, the sun setting, and within an hour or so, it would be night time. She would be relieved when that came. She didn't feel like going home quite yet, and as soon as the moon made it's appearance, she'd feel much better.

However, for now, she supposed she'd walk around and wait for her favorite time of day to come.
