The Alliance Treaty

Signed on the 17th of January in the 81st year after the defeat of Ozai and the end of the Hundred Years War, The Western Air Temple Treaty, also known as The Alliance Treaty was the establishing document of the Water Tribe, Earth Kingdom, Air Nomad alliance against Fire Lord Novai. The treaty is as follows:

~ THE TREATY OF THE ALLIANCE ~

With intention to form a GRAND ALLIANCE against the tyranny of FIRE LORD NOVAI, this document is drafted to establish co-operative efforts between the armies of the nations of EARTH, AIR, and WATER. This treaty shall forever be remembered in these terms:

IN BATTLE ON LAND, all shall recognize the authority of the EARTH KINGDOM. A GRAND MARSHALL shall be appointed as commandant in such battles.

IN BATTLE ON TIDE, all shall recognize the authority of the WATER TRIBES. A LORD OF THE FLEET shall be appointed as commandant in such battles.

IN BATTLE IN SKY, all shall recognize the authority of the AIR NOMADS. A GENERAL OF THE AIR FLEET shall be appointed as commandant in such battles.

The goal of this alliance shall be to defeat NOVAI, lord of the FIRE NATION and remove him for his crimes from the office he inhabits. No signator shall declare war upon the others until the deed of this document is done. To do so is to ally one's self to the subject of the deed in the eyes of this treaty.

The actions of the alliance shall be determined by a GRAND COUNCIL OF THE ALLIANCE to be called THE ALLIANCE COUNCIL. It shall be the task of this council to appoint leaders for the military forces of the alliance in each conflict. This council shall not infringe upon the sovereignty of the members of the alliance. It shall be comprised of the signatories.
