Personality: Kaito having spent part of his life on the sea loves traveling to new places and seeing what it has to offer. He’s smart enough to recognize trouble when it starts but sometimes not smart enough to keep himself out of it. He considers himself a calm person but if pushed too far, he won’t hesitate to push back.

Abilities: Kaito has practiced his waterbending from a young age by studying under a master. He has gained experience both from his practice and fighting pirates. His mother being a healer has taught him basic healing. From his father Kaito has also learned the art of negotiation and how to bargain.

General Description: From working on his dads ship Kaito has kept himself healthy even developing some muscle. He wears the traditional clothing for his tribe and usually wears his hair in a wolf tail. His body has also made a few scars from his travels that his clothing usually covers up.

Weaponry & Other Gear:
Kaito carries with him both a knife with the water tribe insignia and a compass. Both were gifts from his father as hope for his safety.

History: Kaito was born in the Northern water tribe to a loving family. His mother a healer in the tribe is who he inherited his bending from. His father works as a trader for the tribe traveling to different ports for supplies. As a child Kaito loved hearing his father tell stories about his travels and the adventures he had. So it was no surprise when he came of age that he began to accompany him. His waterbending proved useful as he helped fend off pirates after their cargo and helped the ship to pass through storms. Through their travels his father would teach him all about the trading business to prepare him for when he took over. As Kaito grew older and more knowledgeable, his father feeling he was ready granted him a ship and crew to begin his own adventure and to help business. Bidding his parents farewell and with his father’s gifts in hand, Kaito boarded the ship ready to set sail.

Kaito groggily rose out of bed in response to the unwelcome greeting from the morning sun. The night had been rough leaving him lacking his usual rest. How could he have slept with today being the day. He hastily changed into his work clothes and made his way down to the harbor. The walk seemed to take forever and he wasn’t sure if he felt nervous, excited or some combination of the two. Finally arriving at his destination he looked around and spotted his parents. “Right where they said they’d be,” he thought making his way over to them. Smiling to them he hugged his mother and followed his father onto the ship.

He could hardly believe that soon he’d be calling this his ship. Kaito could barely listen as his father went on about what was expected of him. It was all stuff he had heard before to the point he could repeat it in his sleep. Nonetheless he forced himself to at least look like he was listening. Before leaving the ship his father embraced him, handing him his gift of a knife and compass to help him with his travels. As the ship began to move Kaito waved farewell to his parents “don’t worry dad I won’t let you down,” he shouted straining his voice. He could feel his nervousness leave him as his excitement grew over beginning his journey.
