The silver lining.

Rin watched as her two children ran areound their small family home like caged flying lemors. Zakura and Ezera, the two 9 year old terrors usually spent their time outside, but there was a horrid storm that forced Rin to keep the two inside for thier own saftey. Even though they were the reason behind many disapearances of sweets, they were lovely children, both shockingly beautiful in thier own way.

Zakura could only be discribed as the ruggedly beautiful one. She had this earthy wildeness about her which was true to her water tribal heritage. Her dark hair was done up in long dredlocks, decorated with blue beads that made her lovely electric blue eyes stand out. The only give away of her fire nation blood was the shape of her eyes and some of the shades in her hair. Zakura was popular amoungst the other southern water tribe children for her reckless sence of adventure and sometimes immuture humor.

Ezera, her firebending twin, was a bit different. Ezzie was more of the exlusive beautiful, more soft and hidden. Even though she had a bad habit of hiding herself from the world which Rin's husband worried she would carry on into teenhood, she was still, like her sister, breath takingly dazzling. Her hair was chocolate coloured and formed lovely ringlet curls. Her skin was fair and she had big, round golden eyes.

"MA!!!! WHEN WILL PA BE HOME! I WANNA SHOW HIM MY FIREBENDING!" Ezera yelled, running from her and her sisters room like it was about to explode. Rin sighed, but couldn't help but smile. "Soon Ezzie, I promise..." Rin looks up, expecting her lil' Zak to follow...but no such luck. "Where did your sister disapear to now?" Rin asked, her smile quickly turning into a smirk.

Rin laughed at her oldest daughter, who went bolting up to her father followed by her sister. Once Zak had clambered up into her fathers arms, leaving poor Ezzie jumping at his feet trying to get up. Rin rolled her eyes and picked up her daughters discarded pants, smoothing down her hair as she walked over to her husband.

"Howdy hey, howdy ho, firebug," he smiled at her, "hope the kids weren't too big a handful... were they?" Rin smiled and kissed Akhet, resulting in disgusted noises and crindging from Ez. "Oh shush Ezzie, you wil do the same thing with your husband one day!" she said, looking down at her youngest daughter, before turning to answer Akhet's question.

"Well, the living room is half burnt and half frozen, most of Ezzie's pants have mysteriously disapeared and the sweet jar has been raved...nothing out of the ordinary..." she sighed, then laughed.

Rin rolled her eyes and blushed like a school girl at Akhet's comment. "Shut up you..." she wrapped her arms around her husband and hugged him tightly. She kissed him on the cheek, enjoying him rubbing her back. It was somewhat calming for her, specially when Akhet did it. The storm was getting really bad outside, she was glad her fishboy was safe.

"DDDDDDDDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDD! ZAK TOOK MY PANTS AGAIN!" she yelled, tears in her big gold eyes. Rin sighed and looked at Zakura "Darling, can you please give back your sister's pants? you know ow much he hates being naked." She said, a tone of shame in her voice when talking anout Ezzie.

Ezera grumbled, stalking off to get new pants. "Why you like this so much Zak, I will never know..." she mumbled. Rin rolled her amber eyes at her daughter before opening her mouth to say something, but closed it after Akhets remarkm on her legs. "Oh for Agni's sake Akhet...shut it!" she said playfully, a small smile paired with a blush on her face.

Rin looked at her oldest daughter, who was still wearing no pants. She smiled. "Our daughters are going to have many follows when they grow into ladies...all the good genes in them..." she whispered softly into Akhet's ear so Zak wouldn't hear.
