Kashikoi's Experimentation Project [ Open To All ]

Suiken groaned. "There's not even going to be any treasure..." She mumbled, being dragged to the city by her three second younger sister. "Nu... I can buy you a fake treasure chest..." She says, still going along with her sister. She had no idea if this treasure was even real, and she doubted her sister knew either. She looks up as well, seeing the huge blimps in the sky. "What? The whole fire nation is looking for the treasure too, and you think WE are going o get it first? We're going to get attacked by sun warriors, or by the fire nation! Or by-"

She looks down a her sister's pleading face. "No, you're not fooling me this time. That's how you got me to let you live with me." She tries looking away form Sai, but soon falls victim yet again to her adorableness. "Fine, fine. You're not getting me next time with that." She says, like she had the time before, and the time before that, and the time before that. She ran up to Sai and grinned. "Do you even know were we are going?"

Kashikoi stopped panting as he regained his breathing normally as he got into a different stance in fighting. The room started to shaking deeply as the dragon was enraged due to the legendary egg actually being a baby dragon and nothing more. The egg cracked open and the baby dragon was screaming for its mother. The dragon completely destroyed the wall having the boulders of rocks falling inside of the room. The dust started to grow all around the area. Kashikoi quickly used this distraction to run through the clouded dust running pass the dragon being concealed by the dust. Within that few seconds, Kashikoi was already running through the forest escaping the madness avoiding all the wired traps that the humans have made centuries ago. he quickly maneuvered to different parts of the forest, Kashikoi's right foot touched a false ground and fell into a 10 foot ditch landing on his feet. He landed in an underground place where there were three passage ways in front of him. He quickly took one of the lit candles that were already available on the wall and he went through the passage on the left. He calmly walked inside of the passage not knowing where it would take him. He however suffered from leg injuries while he landed so half of his running speed was cut in half for the time being.

Mako lifted his foot, and kicked the Fire Nation soldier away from him, turning toward Kako. He cracked his neck, and rolled his shoulders. He glanced to the side, just in time to see the egg hatch, and looked up with a exhasperated sigh as the adult dragon tore the roof apart. He threw himself against the wall of the room, making himself as small as possible, and trying to keep out of the dragon's way.

"Uh well...my guess is there."

Saiko points off to the forest, where many fire nation guards lay dead.

"Since the fire nation are going after the treasure too, I'd say that's the way."

Saiko walks over to the entrance of the forest, a dead fire nation guard meets her feet. She looks at a few arrows plunged deep into his stomach. Dry blood would have been on his body and on the ground, it obviously would have ran down his body. Getting up from examining the dead fire nation guard, she looks in the forest where alot of fire nation guards are dead. She strikes her hand out, a flame shooting down the forest in range of the traps. None of the traps spring because there are no more. Relieved, Saiko looks back to her twin sister.

"Soo.....coming?" Saiko said with a cute smile and laugh.

Suiken moans, looking at the dead soldiers. "Well... At least they set off the traps for us..." She said, catching up to her.

Suiken walks over to the entrance of the forest as well, looking down and seeing all the dead soldiers. The ground was covered in dry blood, and her shoes were all in the still drying puddles.

"Ew..." She said, scraping her feet against a rock. "Wow... who ever's setting this many traps must have something really valuable..." Suiken said, her eyes lighting up with that greedy glow her twin normally has.

After her sister checks to see if any traps remain, Sui ran into the forest with the increasted speed of an airbender before Sai can finish her question. She then comes back. "You coming? Treasure's not going to wait on us!" She said, eyes full with greed for whatever shiny object they will find.

Kashikoi was walking down a dark hole cave where he saw nothing but a faint light up ahead of him. He wondered if the legends were even true about this place, yet he still moved forward not giving up. The faint light grew bigger and bigger the more he walked and finally......
He stood on a big over sized boulder with water surrounding the entire sphere like terrain that Kashikoi was in. The water reached up to knee height if you were to stand in the water by itself. Kashikoi looked around and saw big huge over sized boulders that were far apart from each other but making a circle all around this place. Kashikoi looked up and saw another egg which was bigger then your common chicken egg. Kashikoi did his acrobatic movements jumping in the air and landing on the different boulders of the terrain room and finally made it to the egg. He grabbed a hold of the egg with his right hand and chuckled to himself seeing as how he found the egg. Kashikoi's legs recovered rather quickly then he expected. Kashikoi turned around and stared at a dragon that was attached to the wall all camouflaged. Kashikoi got into a stance as the dragon got out of camouflage ready to fight Kashikoi. Kashikoi placed the egg back to it's original spot and pulled out his poison knives. These knives had such a strong poison that it would kill this dragon if enough poison entered it's system. Kashikoi counted his poison knives around his belt and he got 12 in total. He grabbed two knives holding one in each hand.

"Lets go dragon......"

Mako would have been the last man to inflict pain upon a dragon, the original Firebenders, and even in the face of almost guaranteed death, he couldn't bring himself to follow orders. He ran forward, snatching the young dragon from the remaining bits of shell, and making a mad dash for the exit. Maybe he'd get lucky? Maybe when he offered the dragon it's child it would show him mercy, maybe it would incinerate him on the spot. As he ran away, he shouted back, "It only wants it's kid!!"

Mako took one look back, expecting the dragon to be hot on his heels, the infantile dragon was the only reason for it to attack, afterall. (Simplified: Mako has snatched the infant dragon, and is now running for the exit in hopes of drawing it away from Kako.)

"Hehe...that's the spirit!"

Saiko had started running through the forest, jumping over dead bodies and looking around. She sends her hands back, flaming extending out of them. This increases her speed as she jumps up and sends fire out of her feet, making her start to fly fast over the dead bodies. In a few minutees, She reaches the city. Landing down softly, she looks at the temple covered with vines and some poisonus plants slashed.

"Woah..that must be it!"

A dragon's roar is heard deeper in the temple.

"Yeah....I know that's it!"

Suiken grinned. Saiko always knew some way to get her into this treasure hunting business. She had never been the biggest fan of almost dying, but Sai always made it fun. Sui ran with her twin, using her airbending to propel herself forward. She stopped at the city as well.

"Alright, this is a big city. Where should we start..." She started a quick jog over to a hut, finding a jade necklace. "Pretty..." She hears a roar as well.

"Then lets go!" She said, running towards the roar of a dragon, hungry for gold and other shiny things.

Kashikoi was on the tip of his toes in a crouch position looking at the dragon that came out of camouflage. The dragon inhale tons of air into his system as it can clearly be visible to Kashikoi. The dragon exhaled tons of fire out of it's throat heading towards Kashikoi. He quickly did a dive to the right throwing his two poison knives over to the dragon's body. The knives sliced the side of the dragon's body having poison entering it's system. Kashikoi took a landing in the water right afterwards and swam back to the boulder climbing up it rather easy. The knives that were thrown didn't stick to the dragon but just passed it's skin and both of them were stuck against the wall. Kashikoi pulling out two more poison knives taking his run over to the edge of the rocks and finally jumping towards the dragon. He threw both of his knives over to the dragon, the dragon quickly exhaled fire towards Kashikoi in mid air.

Mako glanced back at Kako, then ot the dragon. He dropped to one knee, offering the infant to the adult, "Please, accept my apology, take your child and go, I won't let him do anything to you." His voice was shakiy, but honest, he was waiting for the sound of flame, his final feeling to be an immense burning sensation, his last smell of burning human flesh, his last sight a magnificent flame.

"Ok!"

Saiko had grabbed Sui by her hood in order to slow her up.

"There could be booby traps! Well since the fire nation went in, they probably set them off."

Saiko had let go of Sui's hood letting her rush inside. She had ran after Sui quickly down the stairs of the temple. She reaches a room where a yellow jet of fire had hit the roof above her.

"Eek!"

The dragon spots Saiko, yellow smoke coming out of it's mouth. It opens its mouth, a yellow jet of fire streaking toward Saiko and Sui. Saiko sends both her hands out, sending more fire to the yellow jet of fire. This slowing it down, it burns out and the dragons roars at her.r

"Oh great..-.-"

Suiken sighed. "I know I know, don't get shot by arrows. Since when has a trap hit an airbender?" She asked, with a confident grin that was not shown very often. She ran down the steps, hopping down some, and coming face to face with a dragon. She ran back up the steps, witha shocked look on her face.

"Grab anything valuable and run!" She yelled to Saiko as she ran past, but it was far too late, the dragon saw them. She watched Sai cancel out the flames, and she swung her hammer at the dragon’s mouth while it was still blowing fire, clamping the dragon’s mouth together. “Er… do something… it’s not gonna stay like this much longer…”

Kashikoi was in mid air and threw both of his knives towards the dragon's mouth. The flame throwing breath didn't stop the knives as they launched directly into the dragon's mouth area releasing the poison deeply inside of the mouth entering the system through the throat as the dragon was gaging on it's on blood falling in the water making a huge splash slowly dieing of air. At that very same moment and point in time the flame thrower impacted Kashikoi's whole body structure having his uniform burnt up a bit as he got thrown back into the water. Kashikoi took the impact heavily into the water as he got out of the water and onto the boulder that had the egg. He limped towards the egg and began to black out and he collapsed on the boulder laying there unconscious. The dragon died of poison laying there with blood and poison changing the water to a deep red.

Mako stood slowly, shaking his head, and cradling the young dragon as he made his way out of the temple. This was sick, and even someone as level-headed as Mako had to leave in order to maintain his cool. This was wrong, killing a noble creature for sport, he damns the day Firelord Sozin decided that Firebenders who kill dragons are superior.

Instead of waiting for Kako, he opened the hatch, and started to leave the city. How could any man believe killing a dragon was noble, or right? The idea seemed insane, but apparently Kako felt differently.

Saiko had started grabbing valuable things like some gold but she mistakenly took one of the dragon's egg. The dragon used the force of its mouth, to throw the hammer somewhere on the wall. It shot a yellow jet of flame toward Saiko's head.

"EEK!"

Saiko ducks under the yellow jet flame, it smashing into the wall behind her. The cave starts rumbling as some rocks start to fall.

"It's gonna cave in, we got to get out of here!"

Saiko puts the egg down and the dragon stares at her. It starts to circle her, placing itself behind its egg. It roars, basically tell them to get out. The cave stops crumbling and the dragon curls around its egg waiting for them to leave. Saiko having most of the valuable items runs to the stairs.

"COME ON!"

Suiken stuffs her cloak's pockets with various gems and other valuables, such as necklaces, bracelets, and any historical paintings. Her hammer is flung across the room, and she jumps to grab it before she loses one of her prized possessions. She sprints towards the exit, dodging fire balls, claw swipes, and snaps from her gaping maw.

She jumps around, frantically looking for her sister, and sees her twin at the door. "I'M COMING!" She yells back, flying out with her glider, and grabbing Sai as she zooms out. "Wow you need to lose some weight." She said, chuckling before putting her down at the hut they started at.

Kashikoi woke up 5 minutes later slowly getting up feeling like he just woken up from a nice sleep. Kashikoi took off his mask and clothing and dropped it on the floor. He then opened his shoulder bag and put on his tea uniform clothing on along with his hat. He then jumped off the boulder and landed in the water hat only reaching his knees. He placed the mask near the dragon's head. and he placed the tattered fire nation uniform near the dragon's mouth. So if anyone of them were to come down here they would see that Kashikoi and the dragon died together. Kashikoi then jumped back on the boulder and grabbed the egg. He placed the egg inside his bag and looked around the area. He found another passage way this time with a bright light. He walked down the new passage way and discovered small stairs in which reached to the forest surface area. He walked those stairs and made it out and continued his walking through the forest. He was many meters away from where they were and walked down the forest path way heading to a wide field area. Fire nation blimps were scouting the whole entire island and found the admiral down at the open field out of nowhere. They recognized his secondary attire. They flew down below the open field landing. He got on the blimp and took his journey out of there with the blimp flying off. He escaped the placed with a dragon egg in which had a baby dragon slowly hatching inside of his bag.

Mako abandoned Kako, leaving him to his fate. He never would have admitted to it, but he prayed to hear the beating of wings and a triumphant roar before he left the city. Instead, he heard a lightning-type thunderclap, followed by silence. He knew this dragon was his burden now, he knew that he would never allow Kako near it, knew other firebenders were a danger to it.

He looked down at the hatchling in his arms, and a faint smile touched his lips, he owned a dragon. He never looked back, whatever payment he would have obtained for his service was nothing in comparison to what he had now.
