Meeting by the Moonlight [Closed, Lazuki]

Toka sighed lightly, tired from her days work. She didn't have to help anyone do anything, but when she stumbled into the town she noticed merchants unloading a ship. They were, more or less, short handed, and she offered her help. They didn't seem to care she was blind, or that she didn't look very strong, they accepted, grateful to have a spare pair of hands. She didn't mean to, but unintentionally broad-casted herself as a hand for hire.

She wound up unloading vessels most of the day, and only just got a chance to feel the last rays of the setting sun against her lightly-pale skin. She closed her eyes, unable to detect and ships on the water, all she knew is that it was there, and, above all other things, she feared it the most. She'd never taken the time to learn how to swim.

Lazuki started the day like any other, with enough booze to drown in, her warm ups, then food. She was running out though, and since she was so close to the pier that she thought she would just eat there, then get some supplies.

She saw a women in her path, and took it as an opportunity.

"Hey," She said, grinning a bit too wide. "You a bit peckish? I'm getting something to eat, and if your not too busy... I'm buyin."

Toka glanced up at the sound of foot steps, heavy, and...metal, a metal person? She chuckled, "You're losing it Toka, losing it.", she said to herself, laughing again. But then the metal person stopped, and Toka curled her bare toes.

The person spoke, and Toka immediately realized it had been a woman, a shapely woman too, if her sesmic radar was working properly. She smiled, "It couldn't hurt...actually I'm quite hungry.", she said, rising slowly, and dusting herself off. She offered a hand, "I'm Toka, what's your name?"

Lazuki grins to her when she says yes. Usually she gets a no or they try to let down the drunken, well built woman easy, because she is easily capable of bashing someone's skull in.

"Great! I know a place..." She took her hand with her metal arm, and started to lead her to a restaurant. "Serves all kinds a food, all around the world."

Toka took Lazuki's happy reaction in stride, what made her question her decision was the part about serving food all around the world. regardless of what kind of food, Toka wasn't picky, the idea of a boat, or anything off the ground frightened her terribly. She managed to show it though, remembering that she was up for something new anyway. Maybe this nice woman would show her how to swim.

"Uh, y-you said...all around the world...?"
