Personality: (153) She is a kind, sweet, quiet girl. Occasionally she has a fiery temper, usually when she’s trying to defend her older sister from the people who think she’s crazy – she considers herself the emotional crutch for Noe. Obviously very loyal to her family, she tries to stick up for them, although she isn’t well equipped to do so, outside of her words.
Calm and collected, mostly because of her upbringing, Illua is very accepting of other people’s faults and is good at interacting with different types of people. While she doesn’t feel able to, yet, she wants to grow to protect others, even if from themselves, in any way that she can. She often watches them from afar, to be nearby if she’s needed.
When in the company of boys her age or a little older, she tends to get flustered and skittish, sometimes even running away. She loses confidence quickly and easily.
Abilities: (145) Illua has been training to be a healer since she was very young, beside her mother. While she understands the theory of healing, flow and movements of the body, she isn’t very good at performing it, at the moment. The most she’s done so far is healing burns. She’s good at healing surface wounds, but it’s harder for her, at the moment, to do anything beyond that. Broken bones are harder, because she doesn’t know how to use first aid to help with her bending.
For fighting, she doesn’t do much. She’s more healer than anything, and she relies on her sister for protection. She knows how to shield herself, since that was one of the first lessons, besides moving the water. She can protect herself, as well as the person she’s trying to heal. Attacking anyone with any speed, and her bending falls apart.

(102) Illua and her sister do look similar, but her skin is a little lighter because she doesn’t spend as much time outdoors as Noe does. Her hair is done with two small braids that hang down by her ears, and the rest of her hair is kept in a really large ponytail at the back of her head. Usually she wears dresses with long leggings underneath for warmth. Her shoes are knee-high leather boots that she wears most of the time. In the snow, she wears a coat over her dress, but she won’t need it once they leave the North Pole.

Description: Her sister made it for her as an emergency supply of water for her bending.
History: (176) She is four years younger than her older sister, Noe. She grew up learning to be calm because of her sister’s disability, under the tutelage of her mother. She assisted the healing hut, helping out with the younger girls that were learning to heal. Because she’s almost at the age to be fully trained, but not quite, she took on the role of a teacher.
When Noe told her about the spirits, she was worried for her, but she accepted it because of her love for her sister. In the end, when Noe was placed in the healing compound, she tried to be there to support her through that difficult time. She could never hear the spirits herself, but she never thought that her sister was crazy, or lying.
Ultimately, when her sister denounced the tribe, Illua decided to go with her, to keep her sister safe from anyone who might try to hurt her because of the spirits. Now that they are leaving, she wants to see the cities and learn from the different cultures.
