Personality: (212/210) Kouketsu is known to be a levelheaded and very calm individual. He likes to take a step back and calmly analyze the situation he's in so he can end the conflict with the most effective solution that he preferred. He likes to be very strategic as well, making sure he has everything planned out before he goes into something. Going in blind in a fight could leave you helpless and ultimately lead to your demise. Even more so, Kouketsu keeps his emotions in check and refuses to show any emotion. He has seen what pain, remorse, and anger does to mankind. It shrouds your mind  and guides you into an endless darkness within yourself.

Even though Kouketsu refuses to show emotions, his anger can get the better of him. He won't show it directly on his face but you can tell from his actions. He will become a bit more aggressive when bending and start to shift from a manipulative stand point into a more direct and forward approach to things. When fighting, this man prefers a more elegant approach to FireBending. He tends to use acrobatics and martial arts mixed within his bending to create a fast paced and quick footed FireBending style. He doesn't like being sluggish and straightforward.

Abilities: (260/210) FireBending: Kouketsu has diverted from the standardly aggressive and forward FireBending and created something fiercer but not so aggressive and slow. Because of this he doesn't focus all of his energy into the traditional FireBending and adds a flare of other styles into it like acrobatics. This stops him from focusing too much on FireBending and has kept him at a mere intermediate experience. Eventually he will train even more with his FireBending skills and will no longer be only a little bit better than a beginner.

Acrobatics: Kouketsu has focused most of his attention in acrobatics in order to create a quicker paced FireBending that would keep any foe on their toes and constantly at guard. It also keeps Kouketsu's own reactions quick and at tip top form. The acrobatics also allows him to close in at far distances and still evade complex attacks at a distance that people without flexibility couldn't possibly dodge.

Martial Arts: Martial Arts is where Kouketsu would also like to strengthen himself in. This is crucial to when Kouketsu actually gets in close with his FireBending. He creates fire in his hands and uses them to singe peoples skin win he connects. In case they do happen to get out of range, then he would simply release the fire towards them in the middle of a combo while they're still in momentum ensuring a hit. Normally Kouketsu would enter a stance where his knees are bent and his hands out and ready for combat which signifies he's ready to use his Martial Arts.

(214/210) Kouketsu has spiky and raven black long hair that reaches down to his back. His skin is tanned from working out in the sun for extensive periods of time. His eyes match his hair color, not keeping up with the typical fire benders that reside in the Fire Nation who's eyes are usually crimson gold. Kouketsu is well toned due to him keeping up with his training in acrobatics and martial arts to the extent of even becoming a soldier of the Fire Nation, however, Kouketsu finds no loyalty that resides in the Fire Nation. Kouketsu can be seen usually wearing his father's armor of which was given to him when his father passed away. The armor is crimson red, to signify his dwindling allegiance with the Fire Nation, and protects his shoulders, neck, chest, back, and legs. To further his look, he wears black gloves on his hands which are padded to ensure his hands aren't hurt in the unlikely event of which he incorrectly uses his Martial Arts. Kouketsu's skin is well tanned due to helping his family outside in the early ages of his life and working outside for the majority of the time he helps out with the Fire Nation and the others that help them as well.

Weaponry & Other Gear: None

History: (331/320) Kouketsu was born to a family of two which resided in Jang Hui and was rather poor as any other residence of the poor village. His father joined the Fire Nation's army to protect Kouketsu and his family against the rampaging spirit that continuously attacked the village and it's citizens. His father was found to be a skilled FireBender and soon returned home to help his family defend itself against the rampaging spirit. After a while it was discovered that Kouketsu also showed a future in FireBending, however Kouketsu showed no favor or interest in the aggressive form that his father was teaching him in. Kouketsu would soon grow up into a respectable age at which he could travel on his own.

Sooner rather than later, Kouketsu set out in order to find less distasteful ways in fighting and combat and found a couple of styles he chose to be effective at quickly defeating enemies. Even with these forms of combat, Kouketsu was still not satisfied. He decided he would blend all of these forms of combat to create his own style of FireBending. When he got the hang of his customized style, Kouketsu returned to the poor village of Jang Hui and really noticed how neglected and poor the village looked. He began to feel resentment towards the Fire Nation for allowing an area in its own domain to be so sleazy and poor. He began to help his father fight off the spirit until his father could no longer take the endless fights that lasted days and nights. His father would soon pass away and his mother was not far behind him. With the death of his father, Kouketsu had really harbored a feeling of hatred towards the Fire Nation for allowing his father, who was a soldier of its army, to die in such a grimy village. Kouketsu said his final goodbyes to his mother, joined the army like his father, and set out to obtain his goals.

Kouketsu Shikan

(498/420) Kouketsu took a deep breath while examining the bar of which he was currently taking a break at. At the moment, there were five tables and a bar. Kouketsu sat at the bar beside a husky and burly man who seemed to stand even taller than Kouketsu.  At the five tables only three were populated by people. One table seemed to harbor a group of seemingly drunk men who consistently come to the bar and start trouble. Kouketsu's proof was that the men called the bartender and waitress by names. Four men sat at the table while the second table, which was closer to the men, held one person who was a young lady it seemed. The other table held a couple who looked to be smothering each other in "love". Kouketsu took an interest in the riff raff that was now harassing the young lady asking that she come home with them. She kept her head down and tried to fend off their attempts in bedding her and politely said no at each offer that was "ingeniously" reworded. When the men finally noticed Kouketsu watching they simply laughed if he wanted any piece of the women. Kouketsu slowly looked away and said, "I don't share things with disgusting and idiotic men who wished to pester the citizens of the Fire Nation." As expected, the men didn't take to kindly to Kouketsu's words. Kouketsu took one last sip of the drink he ordered when he walked into the bar and then waited for them men to close in around him. "You know," one of the men said, "We don't take kindly to strangers insulting us in front of our companions." Kouketsu replied, "I don't exactly care..." One man tried to futilely throw a punch at the side of Kouketsu's face and immediately felt the consequences. Kouketsu ducked underneath and grabbed the still moving hand and then pulled it right back behind the man and applied pressure. The man gave out a scream and took a even harder punch from his buddies who was too slow on the reaction due to being drunk. The man keeled over and fell groaning in pain. Kouketsu then took this time when the group of men were dazed to send a kick straight into the nearest man next to him and send him flying into the oblivious couples table. During the confusion, one of the men grabbed a hold of Kouketsu and held him still to allow his friend to try and knock him out. Kouketsu merely kicked the man square in his chest, causing him to wheez for air, and then dropped to the ground when his friend had let him go in amazement. Kouketsu then sweeped his foot underneath the man and sent one kick towards his temple to knock him out. Kouketsu walked over towards the counter and layer down the yin to cover the damages and his drink and then smiled to everyone in the room and left.
