A Road Of Temptation and Glory [Open]

For reasons unknown reasons, a Spirit portal had opened up in a water well just outside of the local pub, "Mermaid's Heel", in Seedy Merchants Pier. Before long, the Government of the area quickly assigned armed soldiers to guard the portal, to both ensure that nothing dangerous were to come out of it and to keep random civilians from falling in unprepared.

After about a week of peace, the Government had decided that the Spirit Portal didn't seem dangerous and sent several parties into the Spirit Portal. Sure enough, the Spirit Portal had indeed brought them into the Spirit World. It was unknown where exactly in the Spirit World it had brought them to, even scholars in the area could not determine that fact.

Not having enough funds to send expedition parties out to explore the area, the local Mayor decided to take another approach: Let adventurers do the exploring. For a certain fee, any person would be granted entry into the Spirit World and once inside, they could choose to explore as they wish. This became a very popular move and soon, those seeking treasures and wealth began to flood into the Spirit World.

Upon entering Seedy Merchants Pier, anyone would see a well with armed guards around it. By the same well sits a booth with colorful banners around it. In the booth, sits a man in high class clothes who is no doubt the one that must be spoken too in order to gain entry into the Spirit World. Of course behind the well lies the tavern "Mermaid's Heel". The tavern is probably no doubt an excellent source of news and information regarding the Spirit Portal.
