Anil is kind, gentle spirited, intelligent and ambitious. Her flaws are she’s antisocial towards people of the other nations, not a vegetarian, and easily distracted. She likes cooking, studying animals and environmentalism. Her hobbies include herbalism, baking pies and other dessert, and fishing.

Her deepest secret is she has a lost child, a daughter. Anil’s greatest desire is learn the fate of her child and be reunited again, wondering if her daughter is a bender like her.

She desperately craves to return to the Air Nomads one day, and receive her Airbending Mastery tattoos, to make her people and her child proud and teach the children of her people their culture and bending disciplines. Perhaps reunite with the Airbender man who she conceived her child with, and see how he has grown as well since the 11-12 years they were separated. But without her daughter…she refuses to return home while achingly missing her friends and fellow airbenders.

She also wishes to reveal she is an airbender to the Earth Kingdom village and the villagers to accept her despite hiding her true origin. Be recognized by her real name instead of her alias, only hiding her true identity in order to start anew and try to let go of her past while some memories still haunt her.

Expert Airbender: Anil can able to form air twisters to disorient and throw opponents, slices of air, and having trouble bending of walls, form a jet stream of air to ascend and descend herself if she fell from a high distance, swiftly form spinning blasts to protect others, sucking and blowing small objects towards herself. She can throw small discs of air to sever ropes and small fruits from branches.

Hand to hand combat: Anil used her old staff to act as a block in combat, spinning it to divert attacks and swishing it to airbend slices of air but she hides it somewhere in her Earth Kingdom abode. Her flexibility allows her dodge various kicks and punches even without bending, make great bounds in the air up to heights and across a long distance, and her quickness allows her to move without her opponents knowing she was ever there.

Glider Flight: Anil maintains exceptional flights for long periods of time, perform spectacular stunts like surfing in the air, loop tie loops, dodging airborne projectiles, spinning in mid-air and banking to the glider to turn in the air. She also fly through small crevices if need be, make sharp upward pull ups to dodge airborne pursuers and catch small objects. She can also for a short time carry someone in her crossed legs and they fly them over a short distance.

Her long hair is drapes behind her neck and down to upper back, her short bangs part to left and touch her forehead. Her body shape is thin and skinny, but healthy for an airbender. Her flexible arms and legs aid her bending and moderate body weight allows to shift herself when fighting.

Her Earth Kingdom clothing consists of egg cream long sleeve shirt covered by a pine green shirt, markings with emerald green swirls on the sleeves and lines the outlines of the shirt. A small egg cream collar covers her neck with V line slit in the middle. Long length egg cream pants, earthly brown shoes and a short, pine green skirt with emerald lines outlining it.

Her Air Nomad clothing consisted of autumn orange robes covering her top with a slit up the middle exposing only her golden yellow robe collar, arms and torso. The arms have folded ends on the sleeves with an autumn orange ring around the wrists. A golden yellow belt enclosed her waist above her autumn orange ankle length skirt, underneath is tree bark brown legging pants and boots that meet just under her knees.

Born in the Western Air Temple, her parents remain unknown since the Air Nuns of the Temple raised her. Her airbending abilities manifested by the age of 5 and under the tutelage of the Air Nun council, she was trained in her bending alongside other Air Nomad children. Master Sister Kamala trained Anil for years until she was 20 years old; painstaking she passed all of her trials and has yet to make to create her own airbending move. With approval of the Air Council, she was under consideration for her Airbending Mastery tattoos.

A year later, she met an Airbending master, Ryuu (yes, I got his permission to do so) and the two formed a strong friend that blossomed into a romance over the course of a few months. They shared a night of passion and the master disappeared, disappointing Anil and should’ve guessed from knowing he was not one sticking with one woman. While bearing some shame and wondered if they’ll ever meet again, she traveled back to her Temple and she resumed her bending studies under the watchful eye of the Air Council.

After creating the move of an airbending disc, she was chosen to receive her Mastery tattoos. All the while though, she felt sick between nausea, cravings certain foods including meats, headaches, and some morning sickness. She asks to be examined by a Council member experienced in medicine, thinking it’s from overtraining, the Council member reveals that she’s pregnant. At first, this came as a great shock to the Council, but Anil insisted that she make sure the child will be healthy while not wanting to reveal who the father is. Not wanting to bear the grief falling for someone wouldn’t love her like she did him. The Air Council decided to postpone her tattoos until she gives birth and recovers. In the months of her pregnancy, she did everything to keep herself and the baby healthy. Eating very healthy meals of fruits and vegetables with some nuts, good bending exercises, and spending time just enjoying the mountainous view. Sometimes caressing her pregnant belly, hoping it will healthy and happy.

Upon going into labor and giving birth to a girl, Anil saw the Nuns bundle the infant in a blanket. As she begged to hold the baby, the Nuns forbade it so she wouldn’t form an attachment and reach enlightenment. Devastated, she pleaded to the Council to tell her where the baby was sent but they refused. She tried for months to focus on her bending and combat her postpartum depression, but unable to do so. So she left the Temple and traveled to the Earth Kingdom, she changed her outfit and gave herself an alias, Hariti, an ancient name she read in a book in the village’s shop.

She took up a job of running a restaurant and collect fish and herbs for certain recipes. For next 12 years, she kept her true identity a secret and yet, prayed to the spirits to help her let go of what came before her.

And that one day that she would be reunited with her child once again.
