Personality: Dong Wang is literally an awkward teenager. When he speaks, words catch in his throat and his sentences make little sense. He does not respond well to the presence of others, and finds himself nervous when interacting with them. His gait is mangled, he walks with his entire upper body flat as a board, yet leaning 30 degrees forward. His butt seems to stick out uncannily far, and with each step his body rises and falls an entire foot. His arms stay glued to his side and he stumbles often. Despite Dong Wang's shortcomings, is said to possess a superior intellect, although that has not proved helpful so far in his life.

Abilities: Dong Wang was born in the Foggy Swamp, where he was taught waterbending. Dong Wang is terrible at waterbending, he almost drowned himself once. Other abilities Dong Wang possesses are intelligence and drawing. Dong Wang has a photographic memory and can memorize incredible amounts of information. Dong Wang is also an incredible artist, and moved to Ba Sing Se to pursue this.

Dong Wang is incredibly tall, but also incredibly skinny. He possesses no muscle, no fat, nothing. His face is tall but skinny, and he wears large round glasses. He is known for having "bitchy resting face" and comes off as irritated at all times. For clothes, Dong Wang wears little. He has an off-white shirt, extremely baggy with a low cut v-neck collar. He also wears pants of the same color, also extremely baggy. Dong Wang has a pair of yellow sandals to keep his feet somewhat safe.

History:

Dong Wang was born in the Foggy Swamp, where he learned to waterbend and live off the land. Dong Wang never fit with his people, finding them to lack the intelligence to interest him, and despised their modest ways. Eventually, Dong Wang discovered he possessed an unequaled talent for art, which the others in the Swamp did not appreciate. When he was 10, Dong Wang decided to leave. He had never taken to waterbending or traditional hunting, and so couldn't contribute to the swamp people. They did not resist his departure.

Dong Wang made his way to Ba Sing Se, where he tried to sell a piece of art he had made, to no avail. Everyone seemed to assume he had stolen it. Dong Wang lived in squalor on the streets of the lower ring, and was violated many times by wrongdoers, causing him to develop a bit of fear for people and he retreated even farther into his shell of introversion.

Eventually, Dong Wang's talents were realized by a curator of one of the art galleries at the University of Ba Sing Se. He was offered a spot in the art department of the University with a full scholarship and joined, where he remains to create art and attempt to gain a living.

oh gosh, this character is hilarious. I like him already, and he reminds me of a fellow I made named Alice.

The resemblance is impeccable, and I had never seen that character before lol.
