Political Debate

I saw a Christianity vs. Atheism debate, and since I am personally more into politics, I wanted to have a political debate.

Rules:
1) Don't take this stuff too seriously. We're just here to have a little debate.
2) No insulting others or talking about stuff to off topic.

So basically, the premise for this was going to be liberal vs conservative, but politics can go out of that range. I will begin.

I'm a socialist (liberal) because I believe that there should be income equality in a country.

Its not much, but one sentence should kick off!

I'm conservative in the sense that I don't like certain ideas that liberals side with.

You know, one thing I've learned is that, all people, no matter what they do can be either liberal or conservative. When I first started RPing, I though lots of liberals would be doing it because you know, Role Playing and writing and that kind of stuff I associate with being liberal, but I soon found out that that wasn't the case. So I don't judge people based on their interests or what they do as being liberal or conservative.

Meh, I find that people are more liberal when it comes to RP'ing, conservatives don't believe in worlds that don't mean or contribute anything to society. I'm more of a moderate conservative because I believe that a little advancement is required for society to run the way its supposed to.

Well that's exactly what I thought, and its true for the majority, but I didn't find some conservatives at my other RPing sites.

It depends, you can find anyone anywhere these days.
