Shadows of Ba Sing Se (Zulera, Zai, Kano, Hun-Hun, Zhu, Yu, Yumi)

The soft moonbeams bathed the night in a silver blue glow, twisting the eerie shadows. The pockets of darkness bent themselves in shapes that made them more gargantuan than what they seemed,warping them into monstrosities. Under the dark of the moon, a legion of shrouded figures plastered themselves to the peeling walls of the lower ring.
Watching.
Waiting.
In the center of them was perched another, kneeling on the edge of a roof casually as the cool winds mussed with the entity's hair. The sudden change in the wind jingled a tarp flap on a building above them and it snapped upwards; the moonlight knifed through the shadows and revealed a fierce crimson Oni mask. Said entity did nothing but wait.

And watch.

Minutes passed before the "Oni Mask" turned wordlessly to a nearby member and gave a curt nod. Without hesitation the latter bowed and, with two others, descended swiftly from the rooftop and sprinted off into the night. About twenty seconds after, the "Oni" took off fleeting across the rooftops, the rest of the shadows following after.


The particular member with the Oni Mask watched intently as its comrades weaved in and out of the alleyways in pursuit of "The Target". As it rose to a stand the Oni Mask could feel the anxiety from the rest as they itched to spring into action. For a moment, the entity stood resolute and glared down into the streets.

"The Target" came barreling down a random street and scrambled into a place unseen. Not long after the agents that'd been deployed sprinted down the same path and stopped in the middle of it. Briefly they exchanged glances before continuing down an opposite path. As soon as they rounded a corner "The Target" tumbled out of his little hiding place and crept out with all the finesse of a paranoid rabbicat. The moment he'd made his move the one with the Oni Mask twitched its wrist and, with a quick glint in the light, managed to knick him in the shoulder sharply. He turned and it held his gaze, despite it being blanketed in the shadows. It twitched it's fingers slightly and the remainder of the shadows sprung from their covers and advanced on the target who'd fallen out on the ground. The first 3 agents dropped down from a nearby rooftop and grabbed ahold of his wrists and ankles.The rest of the group made a pathway as the one who threw the dagger stepped forward.

"Captain?"

The one in the fierce Oni mask, that being the Captain, stood over the subdued target and took out 5 metal plates. The Captain bent the formidable metal around his wrists and ankles as strong restraints and then molded the final one over his mouth. Two other members came behind the leader and inserted a long, thick metal rod and hoisted him the air, completely hog-tied. Four members each took one hand on each end to support "The Target's" weight and then faced their leader.

The Captain raised one foot and stomped on the earth, a slab of the ground a few feet away slid sideways and the entity stomped again. Another slab slid apart, revealing a winding tunnel leading deep underground with sleek metal stairs. The Captain pointed for them to go in and so the entire group descended. Once they were all inside the leader pivoted and stomped twice, effectively sealing the entryway and erasing their tracks.

"You are to send word to the General that The Target has been detained immediately."

"As you wish, Captain Zhu-Rong." Four of the members bowed before giving a stomp and exiting down another tunnel, one that emptied directly into the Breach.
