[Music] (( ))
It was a rowdy day in the Goldenwing Pub, Just this morning there was a Bar Brawl, and now there is a little bit of anger between those who are still around from the fight three hours ago, All around there is cheer and happy drinkers across the beautiful room.
The Pub seems full today, nearly all the tables occupied, royalty would rate this place little over a brothel, Everyone wore lower class clothing, with the exception of the occasional Soldier, Most people were alcoholics or drunks, some having a bad day, and some just stopping in for a quick ale before going home from their jobs.
At the Bar counter, a hooded Woman would approach, putting her elbows on the counter, she would await a response from the Bar Keep, "Aye, Wench. Shouldn't Yeh' have a Man Wit'cha round' here? Or did you mistake this for a Brothal?" The Barkeep would say, intending to offend her.
The Woman would smirk, "Hey, whats wrong with your kegs? Look over there." She would point at a keg under some shelves housing a large liquor collection. The Man would turn around, "Wah?..." He would turn around and approach the keg. The Woman would remove a knife from her sleeve, a throwing knife, she would toss it a the rope holding up the right side of the shelf, where the man was closely examining a Keg, alot of the alcohol would fall off the shelf, bottles breaking, shattering on his head or around him, leaving him drenched in beverages the others would have drank.
Suddenly a man with fine clothes, short, fat with a gray beard would come from the back room, "Whats happening out here- My Wine Collection! My Beautiful Wine! YOU ARE FIRED!" He would shout to the man, the newly fired barkeep would exit without knowing what hit him, And the hooded woman getting off Scott free, the old man would man the bar, before walking to the door and placing a 'hiring' sign on it. The Woman would giggle, her black hair flowing from under the hood.

A young woman outstretched a slender fingered hand towards the door handle just as it swung open at the force of a man leaving her to take a step back and pull her hand away just in time to avoid it brushing the soaking clothing of the rather confused and flustered seeming man. He stank of alcohol and for a moment she believed he was drunk before realizing he was just drenched in the liquid. A small bit of amusement trickled into her eyes forcing her to downcast them to hide them from the man as he looked at her while he passed and moved on into the street. The rest of her face, elegant and sharp boned with large eyes almost like a doe, was left untouched by such emotion.
The young lady then continued through the still open door and into the overly crowded pub. A hood was pulled up over her head leaving only strands of her blonde hair, so light it was almost white, to spill out from beneath it and over her chest, it cupping her face gently in loose curls. The cloak covered her entire body, tied up by her collar bone and falling down past her feet in the color of pale blue tinted with green to make it somewhere in between those to fine colors.
Easily she glided through the crowds of people with motions so fluid it was almost as if she were dancing past them and headed towards the bar where a short fat man took care of serving drinks. From the cover of the hood eyes a pale golden peered out to look towards the man while she waited to be questioned as to what she wanted. Beneath the cloak she wore no shoes and only the natural clothing she had posessed all her life.
Down the bar she noticed a dark haired woman sitting with a cloak drawn over her head and she watched from the corner of her golden eye with curiousity while the other woman's giggling floated through the air. The woman who watched the other was E'fel-vain and she said nothing while she sat, only stared down at her hands resting in her lap

The Barkeep would look up at the girl, "Ello' Miss. What can I getcha?" He would say kindly, much much kind then the first Bartender, and far more straight forward with the question, he looked blankly at her while polishing a glass, while to his left, a man with a broom would be sweeping up the glass mess.
Meanwhile, on a bar stool, the black haired hooded woman would appear motionless, looking around at the towns people, durnks and others, it was unclear if her eyes were even open, or if she was sleeping underneath that cloak, nobody paid much heed though, as she was a regular visitor.

The young woman would tilt her fawn shaped face upward to look towards the Bartender that had come forward to ask her his question and a small smile lifted the corners of her mouth, just barely gracing her pale lips with it's presence. Golden eyes belonging to the woman would study his face for a moment, first with curiousity and then without it after seeing the blankness apon his features "Just rum" She spoke just above a whisper, the words barely stirring her lips into form when they passed from them. The words were almost painted into the air with a sweetness pitched into them, nothing tainting the voice that was so light and with grace it was almost sung. Even if her voice was held in gentleness her eyes had lost there softness and soon after the words had flowed they dropped down to the counter before swinging over to peer at the woman who sat not to far away behind the rim of her hood
She did not seem to move and that brought a slight bit of intrest to E'fel-vain's pale golden gaze. Was she asleep or just at peace with such a stillness? No one came by and questioned her and so she assumed those who were here, though drunk most of them, had some mind to stay away from her..Or maybe they just did not care. Questions began to swarm E'fel-vain's mind as they often did when she experienced something new, a quite reoccuring happening, and most of them ran along the lines of the woman's level or danger.
Though she continued to watch the woman from behind her lightly colored cloak, rimmed with navy, gold and green, her eyes shifted downward so it was only the corner of her eye she watched from and she listened in on the scraping of glass against the floor as it was swept by a man and his broom, long trendils of white blonde hair curled out from beneath her hood cradling her face.

The Man would finish pouring the rum from a small keg near the shattered glass mess that the previous incident had left which had caused a man to be fired, he would slide the cup across the counter, "That'd be Six Silver Pieces then, my good Woman." He would say gently, trying to be nice and have a kind spirit, even after half his alcohol collection had been shattered, this collection which he had gathered from across the Earth, Air, Fire, and Water Nations, some even his grandfathers and ancestors collected.
The Woman would be approached by a Fire Nation Soldier, he seemed to Salute her, she would dismiss him, as if not wanting him there. He would leave by her orders, keeping quiet. She would maintain her quiet composure, sipping a beverage that couldn't be deciphered simply by looking at it.
The Man at the counter would announce, "It is Soldiers day, all Soldiers of the Fire Nation have free drinks and food on the house, it is a very special day." He would say proudly, clearly a fire nation patriot in the flesh. The Man would walk into the kitchen, the cooks would begin frying up a storm of food.

The dim lighting and aroma of various liquors created a unique atmosphere within the pub that you could only find at a place that condoned drinking. Though a popular spot in the capitol today was a special occasion in that all militia ate and drank for free which had hoards of soldiers coming in and out of the venue, which soon enough would surely cause some kind of ruckus once the drinks got into people's systems. In particular a certain General would be making an appearance at Goldenwing at the suggestion of a few of his peers, and while he could have gone to a place that was filled with less smoke and contained more refined people this was one of the few places that Tensei could unwind in a more care-free environment.
As he entered various soldiers drunkenly clamored to their feet in attempt to salute, which under normal circumstances he would have put them at ease but something about watching drunken soldiers fumble around brought a sadistic smile to his face. The soldier then made his way to the bar in search of something that would both wet his whistle and put some hair on his chest. Even though he was a General, he was still only nineteen and hadn't indulged in much drinking given how busy his position had kept him. "Something dark and strong, please." He requested from the bar keep as he gave the pub a once over to check who else had chosen solace in Goldenwing.

"Strong and Dark Coming right up." The Stubby grey Haired Bartender would say, passing the beverage across the counter, "Brewed in my family for over 100 Years, We call it, Firelords Rage." He would say proudly, closing the bottle and putting it back on the intact shelf.
The Hooded Woman would giggle a little at the name, then taking off her hood to reveal her true identity, Any Military Personnel would recognize Princess Azula, As she often was among the troops, and was a recognized Military Official herself, though not truly having a rank, she was very involved in the Military, making her a known figure to Soldiers.
Azula would smile a mischievous , "I'd have a glass of your, 'firelords rage', Barkeep." The Barkeep would gasp, noticing royalty visiting his third-class pub, Azula would smirk, generously passing a bag of gold pieces across the counter. "Keep it, In Honor of Soldiers Day." The Bar Keep would be quick to serve her, she would sip the drink, raising her brow, then swallowing, "Good Ale. Is it named after Firelord Zuko, or My Brother?" Azula would say. The Barkeep would reply, "It is named after Firelord Azulon, my family has worked on perfecting it since 50 years into the 100 Year War." He would say Proudly.

Tensei gave a quick nod to the bar keep who had obliged his request as a whiff of the oddly named drink filled his nostrils. A man sized gulp of the dark liquid would be downed followed by a small cringe of the eyes and a semi-harsh sigh. Surely this could not have been named for the current Fire Lord who was a gentler man than most of his predecessors and had recently come out of some sort of sabbatical to start making moves, a few of which had been spearheaded by Tensei himself. However now was not the time to reminisce on past military exercises, but instead to drink and take a load off.
What he heard next, however, was unexpected. The woman spoke as if she was related to the Fire Lord himself and a quick glance in the direction of her voice confirmed it to be none other than Azula II. Though he had never met her before, the one time Tensei had ventured into the palace he had seen her portrait on more than one of the walls. This was certainly a surprise to have royalty in such close vicinity, especially in a bar of all places. Unfortunately as newcomer to the drinking scene, the General had little to no tolerance and the man sized swish he had taken moments ago was already well in his system. "Heh, you do have a striking resemblance to Novai don't cha?" He spoke while downing the rest of his glance and twirling his finger to signal for a refill.

Hearing the Man already intoxicated by the beverage made her happy she had only taken a sip, "You could say that, Tell me. What is your rank Soldier?" She would say as if performing an inspection on the intoxicated man. She would raise a brow at how weak of a liver he had with him. As she didn't even feel slightly tipsy yet.
She would cross her legs, and arms, and sit on the barstool, awaiting a response from what she thought to be the -Not So Mighty- Military Man, atleast not mighty in the bar, she would let out one laugh at the thought.

E'fel-vain listened to all of these words in a silence so strong it made her throat tighten. No..that couldn't be why her throat had began to choked making it hard to swallow the rum that the man had placed infront of her. It was that she was nervous and that was what she had concluded when she saw how sweaty her hands were when she reached for her drink before her while listening to the conversation of the Barkeep, the woman and the newly arrived man. After hearing all the gasping she finally peered over towards the woman again ,be it she had looked away when the general had sat down, and was amazed and in awe at what she saw. It was the Fire Princess! But why was she here in this lower class bar..? And she was giving them money! E'fel-vain noted all of this as it went forward with a bit of suprise melting onto her face beneath the hood of her cloak that still with held her fawn shaped features.
Quickly she paid the coins, putting them up on the counter from a small pouch hidden in the pocket of her cloak with a fluid motion as if she were drawing water and gliding it forward through the air. How she had wandered into this bar was now a question dawning on her mind. This was no place for her and her nervousness made that apparent to her, but yet she felt drawn to this place and to stay here. It had a bit of a comforting feel in it's layer of smoke and strong bitter smells. If she had had the money, which clearly the Fire Princess had, she would have bought a drink worth sipping on, but all she had were the few coins she had just paid up and even then she was short one, only having pushed five silver coins up onto the counter and towards the Barkeep. It was for this reason she kept her face down cast and fully hidden.
Azula was strikingly beautiful and there was a confidence to her she admired though she would never speak so to the royal fire bender for she was a lowly water bender whom had grown up in a swamp and was not worthy to even look open such a person. Nor did she believe she should glance at the general though she watched him from the corner of her eye while listening to the man behind the counter boast about his drinks heritage and the other two conversate. He probably would be to occupied with the Princess to notice her lack of paid coins..

"General. Appointed by your brother... I mean, the Fire Lord himself." He replied feeling the buzz now make its way throughout his entire body and enjoying the sensation. Limits were unknown to the man in terms of drinking and he figured that a man of his rank surely could of handled more than a couple drinks even if it was named after the Fire Lord. Sounds became louder and the lights brighter in what seemed like the opposite effect of a drink which were infamous for dulling the senses. The time for technicalities were far and few in between, and this was certainly not the moment for them, especially with the Fire Lord's sister sitting mere feet away.
A bit of a looker she was, though Tensei was unsure if that was due to her merits or the liquor in his system. All of the thinking was beginning to make his head hurt which meant it was time to live in the moment and leave the menial tasks such as construct thought to those who weren't Generals in the Fire Nation army. "Sooo, surely more than the free booze and food must have brought you out here tonight. You could get that back in the palace. No, there's something else driving this appearance, but what could it be?" He asked while putting special emphasis on the last phrase; part of that due to his current state.

She would look at the robed girl, before feeling slight pity, before pushing the pity away, as if it is a weakness. Returning to her conversation would the general, she would listen to what he had to say, rolled her eyes, "Well, I came out here to meet the Soldiers, see our heroes who defend out home and country, perhaps share a few drinks, maybe a toast." sipping the heavy alcoholic beverage again.

Alright:) Sorry I wasn't sure)
When the Barkeep said nothing about her absence of a coin she continued to take easily paced gulps from the mug containing her rum. It swished down her throat like syrup leaving a bit of a stinging behind that electricfied her nerves throughout her body. For a moment she could feel the gaze of another person on her body and slowly turned her eyes in that direction just as Azula looked away. She continued to watch though now both the Fire Princess and the Sergant.
E'fel-vain's features were not like that of those belonging to the Fire Bending Nation or even that of the Water Tribes if you looked at her from a distance and took in the whole picture. Her skin was a bit dark like that of people of the Water Tribes but it held a bit of an olive tone to it. Just the same her eyes were pale like that of the water benders but they were not blue, instead a golden flecked with light minted green throughout them and most diffrent from people of the water tribes her hair was so light it was almost white and it curled in loose trendils down past her shoulders, bits of it cupping her face that was slender and sharpboned with high cheek bones though it was all crested over in a soft veil of flesh giving her the apperance of a young curious doe with large eyes. She did not posses the stalky build of most water benders but that of one built for speed and flight.
Those large eyes studied the two with a light curiousity and her lips at the edges curled up towards one side giving her an almost fish hook grin that was softened because her lips did not part to show any teeth. In her hands she clasped the drink and though she did not turn to face them her head shifted towards the side as she gazed at them. It was strange how people around her conversed, all of it seemed a bit disrespectful to her.

Tensei had to give the princess credit for mingling with the infantry in a more hands on approach than other nobility had done in the past. Most would have an assistant write a letter to the soldiers or give some half-assed speech that had been written by some other lackey. Interestingly enough she wasn't too bad to hold a conversation with and didn't look to be weighted down with the chore of being around soldiers. An interesting development indeed but one that he would not give too much thought to considering that she was the Fire Lord's little sister and all. However, the thought would continue to linger and with enough time and drinks probably end up spewing forth in some drunken mess. "Ah. How modest of you, princess. Good to see the upper brass mingling with us common folk every now and then." He replied in a semi-sarcastic down while downing half of his second glass.
His eyes then drifted to the hooded figure down the bar who looked a bit out of place among the regulars, and with his inhibitions almost out the drain something that the General would not let slide. "Hey you, with the hood. Why so gloomy looking?" Tensei questioned with a bit of a slur in his speech as only one and a half drinks could do to a lightweight.

That slow smile began to draw itself not only across her enitre lips but all of her face as well, lighting up first her cheek bones and then her eyes before crinkling her forehead a bit in a full blown smile. "Gloomy?" She mused with the same amused smile in her voice. With an easy hand she lifted the mug filled with rum to her lips to take another slow sip before setting it back on the counter with a small bit of laughter. Who would have thought a Fire Nation Sergant couldn't hold his liquor to well. It was intresting to her almost as much as the fact that the Princes was out amoung the common folk.
Now she turned her chair over towards the pair of them were they were a bit up the bar and though the smile from her face and receded back to just her lips it still held tight in her voice that came from her lips with an easy glide, light weight and a bit musical "I'm not gloomy sir. Why would you think that?" A slight raising of her brows came with the question and the half return of the smile that had once breached her face only a few moments before hand.
It did not bother her, the way he spoke towards her just as it did not phase her when he did not ask her the name of which she called herself. 'Hey you, with the hood' seemed fine enough for someone of such a low stature and to her bitter sweetness she would act as if it were a complement just to amuse herself. Maybe she to was begining to feel the slight bubble headness of the alocohol...she could not tell exactly though. Her thoughts seemed a bit off anyway..

Azula would shrug, before blowing one of her bangs out of her face, "Please, Soldiers are more of my kind then snobby nobles who pick their noses and wipe it under their chairs during Dinner. I consider you brave people -My- People, not the castle dwelling prissy's." She would say strongly, and confidently, It is very evident that Azula is dedicated to the armies herself.

With the second glass now running laps throughout his system all of Tensei's inhibitions had been thrown out of the window, which could prove disaster considering who he was in the presence of. The hooded one seemed to refute his claim about being gloomy, and her smile failed to help her claim. Inebriated and confident, the General was sure of gloom when he saw it and this person fit the category perfectly. "Well, inside wearing a hood. Seems gloomy to me. Trust me, I have a gift for these things." He replied with a chuckle as his sanity had walked right out the door with the statement about having a sense to detect gloom. What was he, some kind of super hero? There was no time to dwell on that, however, as Azula II was in dire need of his attention at the moment.
"Ah. One of the crew, eh? Niiiice. You know, don't tell Novai I said this, but you're kinda pretty." Yep, drunk Tensei had arrived and took little time to start dishing out the compliments. The hooded chick would probably get one as well, if she ever took off that hood and stopped being so damn gloomy.

Azula would raise a brow and smirk, appearing slightly entertained by the generals previous comment, "Sounds kind of silly that you are saying that to a member of the Royal Family. Though you are intoxicated, So I will give you that, good general." She would say, taking pity on the intoxicated man, putting down the insanely potent drink, so she wouldn't go into the state the general was in, as that could be very deadly as a Princess.
