Kanaryu vs Rengshi vs Nokomi

Subject: Kanaryu vs Rengshi vs Nokomi Fri Jun 29, 2012 12:15 am

Nokomi	Nokomi looked down from her perch atop a hill, searching the endless sea of dancing imbeciles for her target. She didn't understand the need for parties, and snorted at all of the idiots who were obviously having a good time at a sunset beach party. She had to admit though, the place was beautiful. Focus, she thought, reminding herself that she was here to do a job, not enjoy scenery. This task had been given to her by a shady man in the middle of a noisy pub in Ba Sing Se, but she hardly needed to hear what he had said once she got the description of her victim--she knew how to do her job, and do it well. She found what she was searching for, not knowing the gender of her target but knowing that it was them based on characteristic tattoos on their bare arms and legs. Presumably either a slightly muscular female or a weak male, by the judge of their muscle mass. Other than the arms and legs, though, she couldn't see much else as her victim was covered almost entirely in a thick black cloak, wandering about at the edge of the party, quite obviously not belonging there. She smiled to herself and loaded her beautiful ivory bow with an arrow, then took aim. Closing one eye and kneeling to one knee, she entered a state of calm that only existed right before she let the arrow loose and ended when she heard the beautiful thud that meant the target was dead. She pulled the string back, her eye not moving from her victim, and as she let it loose--but she blinked. Damn! she cursed herself as the arrow soared gracefully through the air...and missed the target by a half centimeter, instead tearing through the bottom of a pack that a passerby had strapped to his back. She thought the arrow would stop there, but to her shock, it kept going...going...and grazed the shoulder of another bystander! She straightened quickly, her face full of horror. She hardly ever missed, the shock that she had was immense. She searched the crowd with her wide honey-brown eyes, but the target was gone, and she had just alerted two people to her position. She watched the two, her stare not wavering as the wind blew her light blue hair across her face. This was merely a distraction, and she once again silently cursed herself for not putting it up like she normally did when she had a job to do.

Kanaryu Oshiro	Kanaryu took in a deep breath and then breathed out. He looked around him self, people dancing everywhere doing a celebration of some sorts, he was trying to cut through the large amounts of people so he could get to the harbor and could proceed to go home to the south. He thought he was doing okay getting through so many people without getting shoved or anything he quickly noticed someone different in the area a person covered in black making his or her way through the crowd as well, the person seemed suspicious but Kanaryu didn't pay attention to the person. He walked only a couple inches more after that before he felt a sharp pain on his shoulder as he noticed an arrow sticking out of the ground, he seemed almost furious about now he looked to where he thought the arrow had come from and glared up at a hill. He grabbed some water from a few cups that we're laid out for people to get. He positioned the water on top of his shoulder as it began to glow a faint blue as it healed the area the arrow had hit. "Ah... Much better." He then made his way to the beach where the water was, once he got there he pulled up a fairly good sized amount of water and froze it instantly, he then made it protrude spikes around it as he grinned. He began to spin building up his momentum so he could send the spiky ball of ice at a fast speed towards the presumed person he thought would be up there that had grazed him with the arrow, he then jumped into the air releasing it towards the mountain. "that outta take care of them."

Rengshi	Rengshi was walking along the beach, what a nice day to walk on the beach! It seemed perfect, no wonder these people were partying, thankfully Rengshi wasn't taking part in this festival of whatever. It seemed very laid back, though. Maybe he would take a part in the party. Or not, his pack randomly fell apart from the bottom. It looked like a knife had pierced through it. Looking around he saw a water bender throw an ice ball with spikes at the hill randomly. Odd...

Nokomi	Nokomi noticed the ball of ice zooming towards her and sidestepped it easily. If the apparent waterbender had been closer to her, she probably would have been harmed, but she had such a long time to see it coming that it was just too easy. She knew she had to find her target, but if Water Boy wanted to play hardball, she'd give him hardball. She jumped down from her steep hill, landing easily in the sand, sending up a flurry of dust as she sent a few easily avoidable flames into the crowd, to make them disperse. She then stood, smiling slightly at the waterbender. "Glad to see I'm getting a little bit of excitement on this trip," she smirked. "Tell me, what level are you, exactly?" she said, her smirk breaking into a full out grin as she loosened up her arm-whips and entered her fighting stance. She motioned for him to go first, barely noticing the man who's pack she'd ruined with that rogue arrow.

Kanaryu Oshiro	"I guess you could say I'm an expert." He said as he grinned at her as she got into her fighting stance. He wasn't real sure about the lady or why she seemed to be targeting him or at least that's what he thought. He thought she was aiming to him kill him with that arrow. "It's going to be a fun day." He jumped backwards into the water he placed a random series of quick strikes with his fist into the air as long thin lines of water would shoot out towards the woman aiming to cut her if they hit her he then launched him self into the air turning and kicking towards her as a long line of water dragged behind his foot and finally launched forward quickly turning into ice instantly.

Rengshi	Rengshi turned around to see the a woman run down the hill the male threw the ice ball at, they looked out for blood. Before getting involved, though, Rengshi made sure that everyone was out of the immediate area of the fighting. Rengshi was about to leave himself when he forgot his bag, sadly, it was in the middle of the fighting, quickly remembering his earthbending, he shot a pillar, which could be mistaken as an attack, for the bag to fly up and land near him.

Nokomi	"An expert? Well, it'll be my pleasure to bring you down," she said. Noko'd never fought an expert waterbender before, this would prove to be fun. As she stepped forward, left foot behind the right, turning her chest away from him to for a backward kick of flame, she heard a loud noise and then saw a pillar of earth launch the backpack she'd ruined to the apparent earthbender. Her firebending was bad, but she shot three or four weak flames at the waterbender before snapping an arm-whip at the earthbender, aiming directly for his jaw. She smiled slightly, knowing that her arm-whip would shock him, causing pain to flow out from the hit area through his body for a moment, and then leave a particularly large welt afterwards. In the seconds it took for the whip to make its mark, she pulled her dagger out. Either the earthbender would dodge the whip, or he'd be hit, but either way, she was prepared to use her other whip to grab his foot and drag him towards herself, using the dagger to either knock him out or end him, depending on how big of a threat she proved to be. And through all this, she forgot to check how the waterbender fared her meek flames.

Kanaryu Oshiro	"Heh...Big talk, for a kid." He said as he drug a wall of water in front of him to defend him from the four weak flames shot at him. He then made the wall of water into a wall of ice and proceeded to chunk it at her at a high speed, He then motioned both his hands forward as a sort of small wave crashed on to there side of the beach that they we're fighting on, seconds after that it froze and would surely freeze anybody's feet to it if they decided to stay where they we're, they could obviously still stand on the ice after it was done freezing. This was just to give Kanaryu an advantage of some sorts, at least he would move faster on ice then he would on anything else. He wasn't real sure of the earth bender but he wondered why the girl attacked him, it seemed she was trying to start a fight with anyone now.

Rengshi	Rengshi went down to pick up his bag and walk off when he heard a snap and looked up to see a whip go for where his chin would have been. What the he--- Rengshi thought, about to finish when, suddenly, his foot was caught in another whip, when, suddenly, he began being drug off towards this crazy woman. Rengshi tried, in vain, to Earthbend. Needing some more earth underneath his feet, Rengshi quickly slammed his foot in the ground, denting the ground enough to stop the dragging towards the woman. Continuing to get out of the whip's grip, threw some rocks at the woman for a distraction as he untied the whip from around his foot. Moving forward to a full out assault, Rengshi stomped the ground making a pillar in front of him. As if he were punching a bag, Rengshi quickly punched the rock and sent disks of earth flying at the woman.

Nokomi	Nokomi easily dodged the frenzied rocks the earthbender aimed at her, but as she did that, she ended up being hit twice by the chunks of ice the waterbender was throwing her way, in the shoulder and the hip. She then dropped to her stomach as they went overhead, back on her feet in a second. She didn't realize that the ground was being frozen over until it was slightly too late, and ended up with her right foot caught in the ice. Angrily, she blasted it with a small flame, and it melted. Luckily for her, it melted when it did, because the next moment, the earthbender was launching disks of rock at her. She was able to avoid most of them, but ended up being caught on the same shoulder once again by another. Well, if they thought a few hits would keep her down, boy were they wrong. She practically loved the fact that she couldn't bend, because she felt like she had such an advantage over the two, one of those advantages being her impeccable aim, which she put to use now. Shifting her grip on her dagger, her long fingers now held the tip, and she threw this at the earthbender, as he was closer. In the second that it would take for him to react, she had her bow out and ready, an arrow loaded, and she lit the long black feathers that crested it on fire, then sent it after the waterbender. She then went on the defensive, reaching into her pack and pulling out a small vial only used in emergencies, and smashed it onto the ground, causing smoke to billow up. This would cause confusion for all three of them, but it gave her a slight advantage because now the two would not only be aiming for her, but could also be accidentally aiming for each other. She crushed the broken glass under her foot as she inched forward slowly, the heat of the battle calming. One wrong move and any of them could be dead at any moment. She loved these high tension moments, because they calmed her rather than stressed her, unlike others who would freak out at the loss of their ability to see. She tilted her head to the left, listening intently for any movement, another arrow poised in her bow and ready to fly as she pulled the string back, waiting for someone to give themselves away.

Kanaryu Oshiro	As the arrow came in for his chest, he immediately on instinct raised both his hands up as a wall of ice formed in front of him, another advantage of having an icy floor on the field. he rose two other ice walls and immediately launched fourth a flurry of icy shards from all three of the walls. He wasn't entirely sure his attack would work in fact thinking about it now his idea might have been foolish since the earth bender was now in the fight as well, hopefully they would miss him.

Well, it looks like your impeccable aim was off a bit, because in your rush to throw the dagger, it nicked off some of Rengshi's hair that covered his hair, but better that than a dagger in the skull, isn't it? Rengshi quickly jumped up, figuring that it'd be better to fight on his feet. And then, suddenly, a giant smoke cloud appeared out of no where. Shit. Rengshi thought, obviously annoyed at the cheap attempt at escape. Oddly enough, there was a few ice spikes being thrown at him, had the waterbender attacked him? Can't be, probably trying to take out the assailant, right? Anyway, Rengshi thought it best to do some Earthbending, turning his right heel at about a forty degree angle, he had created a few cracks in the earth, making nearly anyone who went near his front trip. Now, trying to get out of the smoke, Rengshi ran out making sure he sent some Earth Spikes next to him and in front of him periodically. Eventually getting out of the smoke. Unless someone wanted to battle him in the smoke, that is.
