Avatar New Chapters: The Movie

Big news today as Hollywood legends Ridley Scott and James Cameron, team up to create what they claim will revolutionize the movie industry. In a recent interview with the Hollywood dream duo, both Cameron and Scott gave us a sneak peek at their up-and-coming blockbuster: Avatar: New Chapters, based entirely on an online role-playing site. Apart from being the most expensive movie ever made, it is also the most advanced in terms of technology. “New, state of the art cameras, equipment and filming techniques will make the movie a visual masterpiece.” Says Cameron who has improved on the already impressive technology used for his Oscar-Winning film, Avatar. He also claims that the fact that the two movies share a name is purely coincidental and they will have no relation to each other.

The film centers around a group of heroes and anti-heroes that join forces to oppose the illiterate villain, Kashikoi Kai. "It is full of action, comedy and even romance," says Cameron, who also wrote much of the script, "the likes of which have not yet been seen on the silver screen." The films will be split into three parts, each film with a new villain. Although the scripts for the next two movies have yet to be written, rumor has it that the next two villains will be Gysu and Novai.

“The most difficult part of making the film, was casting,” says Scott, who had a direct hand in choosing actors for the various roles, “Apart from the fact that there were so many characters taking an active role in the film, we also had to try and keep them true to their original designs. All in all, I think we did a good job.”
