Hocus	Full Moon Bay had very pretty water, but besides that it was in a huge state of disrepair. From the sky, Hocus could see at least a three inch layer of grime on everything holding the water back. He was amazed that the whole structure hadn't crumbled yet. The ferry station was still used by a great many people to get into Ba Sing Se, but the city apparently had greater concerns than maintenance. He landed his balloon on the flat, concrete platform, forcing a great many people to move out of his way. Now which one had the Pi Sho Set that he wanted? Hocus hopped out of his balloon, making his way through the droves. Most of them moved out of his way long before he got to them, a masked man with an air of hysteria about him was not someone you wished to bump into. Hocus held out his compass following the point all the way to a man who happened to be using the set he was hoping to get. "Sir. Hello! This Pi Sho Set, I quite fancy it. Would you be willing to part with it?" Hocus did not tell the man that he'd be getting it regardless of whether the man would trade, sell, or give it away. He was sure he needed it.

Izanagi Yutaka	The secluded cove of full moon bay was a great place for Izanagi to make some easy money, preying on the weary travellers, who like him, were heading for Ba Sing Se. He was sitting at one of the many Pai Sho tables, scattered around the cove, for travellers to use while they waited for a ferry. He had convinced a man, who he discovered had a bad gambling problem, to play him while they waited for the next ferry. After a half hour, Izanagi had already won most of the man’s money. “I’m never this lucky!” He exclaimed with a surprised voice as he gathered his money together and gave his opponent, who had given up, a lopsided grin. The man cursed under his breath and left the table, deciding to cut his losses while he still could. As the one man left the table, another approached. Izanagi looked up to find a strangely dressed man standing before him, wearing a white mask. He had a strange air about him and Izanagi kept his guard up, after all he had no idea who this guy was or what his intentions were. He eyed the mysterious stranger for a second, both cautiously and a little curiously. He was usually very good at reading people and their intentions, but the mask had made it impossible. As a result, Izanagi didn't trust this guy as far as he could throw him. As the man made his intentions known, Izanagi’s demeanor instantly changed, from suspicious and cautious, to friendly and inviting. He had no idea why the man was after his Pai Sho set, there was nothing really special about it, except for the fact that Izanagi almost never lost with it, but that was a matter of luck and skill, not really due to any special properties of the set. He wouldn't let the man know this however. “Ah! Good day,” he said in a friendly tone, “It so happens that I might be willing to part with it…please, sit down,” he said gesturing for the seat opposite him. He placed the set on the table, in plain view of the man and held his hand out. “The name’s Izanagi,” he said with a pleasant voice, “Tell me, how much do you know of this Pai Sho Set right here?” he asked curiously, implying that there was some rich history behind it and possibly some mystical qualities to it as well.

Hocus	Hocus was awful at reading faces and didn't notice how uncomfortable the man was. Luckily, once he began talking he seemed to brighten up. The man, Hocus smiled beneath the mask, said he might be willing to part with his set and asked Hocus to sit down. Hocus took the seat across. "The name's Izanagi. Tell me, how much do you know of this Pai Sho set right here?" the man inquired. "Well. My name's Hocus and..." he paused. Honestly, Hocus knew next to nothing about this set, he just knew he wanted it. The compass acted on whims, not knowledge. He looked at the set, trying to determine what he could learn from it. The wavy air around him seemed to become a little more confused, not that it was particularly visible. "I simply know that this set has a rich history. I have traced it back as being crafted by one of my ancestors. It contains sentimental value that way," A blatant lie. But it was difficult to catch Hocus in the act, he still had his friendly demeanor, and his accent made it so regular give-aways were not present.

Izanagi Yutaka	“A pleasure, Hocus,” Izanagi said with a warm smile. This is where things got interesting and where Izanagi would have to be careful. "I simply know that this set has a rich history. I have traced it back as being crafted by one of my ancestors. It contains sentimental value that way," Hocus explained in answer to Izanagi’s question. Izanagi eyed Hocus for a moment. Izanagi himself was bluffing, and had no idea where this set really came from, however if Hocus was bluffing and Izanagi went with Hocus’ story, the masked man would have known that it was a scam, or at least an attempted scam. Izanagi decided to play it safe, since the man’s face was hidden and his voice didn’t give anything away. “It is very old indeed, with a rich history, as you said. In fact, I have never lost a game with this set.” He said sitting back in his seat with a smile. “As you can imagine, a Pai Sho set which has given me an almost unnatural amount of luck, won’t come cheap,” he said as he placed his hands on the table, “what exactly are you offering?” Izanagi continued with a curious smile.

Hocus	Izanagi was already down to offers. The hard part was over, usually Hocus had trouble getting people to part with their items, but this man seemed easy. Hocus wasn't complaining. "If you'll just follow me..." Hocus said with a flourish of sparks. He walked back through the grimy cement block, not paying attention to the people who avoided him with much gusto. The balloon-ship seemed to be magically on the ground without deflating, so it looked like it could take off at any minute. He hopped into the basket, held his arms out to his side and said, "Make an offer." There were tons of objects around them, nearly anything you could think of, and if Izanagi couldn't decide on something, Hocus would bring him to something that he wanted.

Izanagi Yutaka	Izanagi stared at the hundreds of little trinkets, baubles and contraptions that littered Hocus’ balloon. He had no idea what half of them were. He curiously reached out and touched some of the things, mesmerized by some of the stuff he saw. “It’s like a museum…” he said with an almost boyish excitement, fiddling with a little ornate music box. Izanagi carefully looked around, wanting to make the best choice that he could. He paused and turned to Hocus. “That compass…seems…interesting,” he said with a grin, “Tell me about it…You seem very fond of it.” He said as he continued looking around. Looking for anything he would be able to sell off at a ridiculous price. The strange air about Hocus hadn’t left, but the prospect of making a profit, made Izanagi completely oblivious to it. He finally picked up a fancy jewelry box, knowing that he could probably make a killing off it, selling it to some airhead noblewoman. “This!” he said picking it up and turning to Hocus. He paused and lifted a finger, “and a ride on this thing…that’s my offer?” he said with lopsided grin.

Hocus	Izanagi seemed pretty pleased with the huge amount of objects that were strewn around them. Hocus had lost interest in almost all of them, but his eyes grew wide behind his mask when Izanagi asked about his compass. It had been with him so long, he never put it down. Describing it would be like explaining your hands to someone who wanted to buy them off you. "It just...just a compass." Hocus hestitated halfway through. This compass was everything. Without it, Hocus would surely be dead. "This!" Izanagi said, triumphantly holding up a music box that Hocus had had for a few years,"and a ride on this thing." Hocus smiled behind the mask and said, "Deal!" He climbed a ladder like an expert and lit the balloon's fires with the few sparks he could make. They were off into the air.

Izanagi Yutaka	Izanagi watched Hocus curiously as he examined the compass. He really did seem fond of it, and so Izanagi decided to leave it be, besides he could probably get more for the music box. He watched as Hocus climbed the ladder and lit the fires, and held on tightly as the balloon started to ascend. It was the first time he had ever flown and he was loving it! He looked over to Hocus as they floated upwards. “As promised, here is the Pai Sho set,” he said tossing it over to Hocus. After he tossed it over, he quickly got back to watching the ground as it got further and further away. “Where the hell did this balloon come from? I mean, I have seen the Fire Nation Air Ships, but seems so different from them?” he asked curiously, getting a little dizzy as they got higher. He definitely wasn’t used to heights.
