Adventure time

As the day sparked light into room, the sleeping giant arose from the sheets of the unfamiliar bed with a vacant yawn. Glancing around the naturally lit room, he had wiggled free of the covers and gotten out of bed. He didn't have the awareness to notice if Xi was awake or not, he hadn't slept like he did since the last time he slept in an actual bed and not a bed roll. The difference was highly noticable.

On his feet, he had grabbed around the room for the wall to cling to until his awareness had come back of where he was at. His foot had hit against something as he wandered along the wall. A cloth like material. He had lifted it and tied it around his waist so as to cover his sleeping boxers. With the wind coming in from the open window, he made his way to it to open his eyes and gaze upon the awoken community.

Wanting to get out and experience the culture a bit more, Clay had made his way outside to do a bit of sight seeing. It was a good idea, a place he hadn't been to before was worth a good runaround. But first he was going to get a bit of an exercise going.

Reaching to his weighted clothing, he started fastening the parts onto his person. Wrapping himself up, he had now felt ready for a little jog. He lept out of the window, getting a head start as he rolled when he hit the ground. Rolling onto his feet, he started stretching a bit before taking a jog.

Clay's little run had lead him around the temple as he took in all the sights. Getting to see all the people, he had come to enjoy the peace of the area. And there, his run had come to a stop as he had caught a glimpse of Xi meditating. Before he could say good morning, he noticed a strange man's hands having touched her naughty bits. This did not fly, no random gyu was going to take advantage of Xi of bodyguard Clay's watch.

Acting on impulse, he lept up into the sky, bending the sand in his garments to propel him upward as he raised his arm up high. "Get your filthy hands off my partner, you filthy perv!" He called out loudly, coming in with a judo-like chop down towards the 'perv' with his hands in the cookie jars.

With his landing, he'd respect his friend's wishes and nod in agreement before looking around. " So, where would be a better place to continue this? I'm not really familiar with this place as much." He said in a calm and gentlemanly tone, looking around to see if anything was in sight. It's wierd how the rush of impulse quickly subsided to a calm and mellow character of a giant.

spotting it in the distance, it was the large sandy area from the night before, and that would seem like the best place to rough it up. Boys did need alot of breakable space for things like this, and surely Ryuu wouldn't disagree. Though Clay would have the home field advantage, the attire of the male he sought to punish showed that he might have a clear advantage as well. It was never safe to underestimate anyone on appearance.

Watching as Ryuu flew off towards the sandy area, Clay shrugged his shoulders in a slight confusion. None the less, he started walking his way there. He was in no rush at all, taking his sweet time.They didn't designate a time to meet there, so even though he went straight to the sandy area, he strolled in a leisurely pace.

Yes, first impressions were key, and seeing someone groping another for their first impression, you couldn't blame Clay for thinking him a pervert for it. With Clay eventually reaching the destination, he had done a few squats and exercised a bit to limber himself up. " I will have you know I did a bit of jogging before this, so I might be winded. Prepare yourself for your punishment, perv!"

Clay didn't know what to expect from this man. He didn't give off any indication of what he could do, which wasn't good when jumping into a confrontation with him right off the bat. But with the gust of wind ripping his way, Clay at least knew he could bend air. Clay whirled his arms up before they pushed behind him, his feet taking stance as he bended the sand under him to push him in a straight line out of the blast's path. Narrowly avoiding the wave of air, Clay angled the propelling sand that was under him so it would turn him into a rush towards Ryuu.

Clay didn't want to kill the man, merely teach him a lesson about perving on a friend of his. " You sure showed me!" Clay called, coming to a screeching halt before getting near Ryuu, kicking up a veil of sand to blur sight. Once he stopped, he bended the path he was going so the gust of sand would propel along the path, making it seem like Clay was still charging under the veil. Clay himself stood ready in a basic stance, both legs planted and hands to his sides to wait for the veil to clear.

" I assure you there will be no graves. I commend you though." Clay had taken his posture and thrusted his hands forward, readying for the next bout. " For a perv, you're rather smart." If bending the air was the key, he would attack from the ground. Either way, keeping it a distance fight would make it challenging for Clay, getting in close would seem impossible. Then again if it was an air bender, getting in close might have been a trick to fling him further with his air bending. No, Clay planned to keep it distanced until he could figure this man out.

That being said, Clay could see that both were in their element, which would make this rather complicated. With him making the move, he thrusted his hands hands forward as a wave of sand would thrust up from the first thrust, the second sending the wave towards Ryuu. Clay knew it wouldn't be enough, thrusting his hands while making a circular shape with his index fingers connected and his thumbs connected, aiming a guyser of sand to errupt from where Ryuu was the last Clay saw of him before the wall of sand erected between them. It would keep it hard for Ryuu to recognize the guyser coming from the wave of sand both obscuring vision of Clay and presenting a large obstacle heaving towards Ryuu.

Clay spotted him leap up and held his hand over his brow to keep the sun from his eyes. " Well, he sure can jump high, can't he." Clay said before seeing him speed down towards the ground. It didn't click until he saw it, the wave of air coming his way. " Oh...That's not good." He had no way of getting away since he noticed too late, turning and running before the wind started to blast him. Twisting his feet to cling the sand to his legs, he ended up falling face first into the sand, soon covered by the backdraft of sand thanks to the aftermath. "...ow.." He said, though accidentally well hidden under a mound of sand now as he rested there for a while, awaiting for that man to come closer.

" No need to shout." Clay said, having waited for Ryuu to be within his own arm's length. Clay pushed free in one sudden leap, the giant swinging his hand up from under Ryuu for an uppercut. " You wanted close combat!? You got it!"Clay wouldn't wait to see if the sand weighed fist connected, kicking forward while bending the sand in his bonds to propel his limbs for a harder impact.

Clay recoiled from jumping up, though not in time as he was blasted back down onto his back. With the cushioned landing in the sand, he rolled with the force to stumble back onto his feet. They had distance between themselves again, and Clay was working on regaining his stane and composure. He smiled as if having fun, giving Ryuu a thumbs up. " You keep catching me off guard. I don't know what to do about that."

Clay's hands gripped the clothing of his, tugging against the weighted cuffs around his forearms a bit. If it would make such a fun time even more enjoyable, Clay wouldn't mind. As the forearm cuffs were undone, he watched Ryuu closely in case he tried anything.

Rather both an intimidating and awe inspiring demonstration from Ryuu, Clay looked up in amazement and fear at the tornado. He changed his mind, fastening the weights again in hopes of being able to weather the storm, but even he knew it wasn't the least bit likely. But then, the words that broke the sound of wind hit Clay with a sudden humor. He stared at the man in the center of the vortex that tore apart the sandscape around them, and before long, Clay started to laugh. " Wait, you're kidding! You and her!? I thought you were a pervert when i spoted you touching her in broad daylight!" Clay held up his hands as he tried tyo call to the guy in the storm. " Will you lower that thing!? We can talk like civilized adults now so we can fix this misunderstanding! But it's kind of complicated to talk when it's this windy!" Then again, laughing at the situation might not have been the best way to start a reply.

With a relaxed disposition now that the storm had died down, Clay motioned as two mounds of sand formed behind him and Ryuu, indenting slowly to form a sitting surface. " You waste no time getting to the point. First, you can call me Clay. Second, she saved my life, practically. I'm a wanderer, you see, and I, well, wandered my way here. And because she saved my life, well, i think of her as a friend. I don't let people harm my friends. But enough about me, i hate talking about myself. Tell me, what are your relations to my friend Xi?"
